22/06/2026: What an absolute brilliant little cafe. Takeaway available. We decided to eat in and had a lovely meal. Great value, friendly staff. Right next to metro station which was very handy .

30/06/2025: Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at Watami in Valby, which I feel the need to share so that others know what they are getting into. The food was generally tasteless, and the sushi was poorly made – the rolls fell apart, and it seemed sloppy and unprofessional. Everything was served at once, which meant that the food quickly became cold and dry. The toilet conditions were downright disgusting. There was no light, no napkins, and the cleaning tools were openly displayed in a messy corridor by the toilets. A clever way to hide the standard of cleaning. It did not seem hygienic or well thought out. The tables in the restaurant were greasy and full of fingerprints. When I asked for the table to be cleaned, it was quickly wiped with a very wet dishcloth – without any kind of soap or disinfectant. You really wonder if the staff is even trained in basic food safety and hygiene – because the whole experience was absolutely not characterized by that. Finally, it was time for dessert. The table was not cleared of empty plates and leftovers. Everything was left behind. When we got the dessert (a so-called crème brûlée), it was neither crispy on top nor creamy. All in all, a really disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Watami Valby to anyone – neither because of the quality of the food, the hygiene nor the service.

14/12/2025: Ordered a “shawarma sandwich” menu which includes a pita bread, fries, mayo and a drink. The pita bread was seriously underwhelming with extremely dry meat and a tasteless salad. The fires where under salted and cooked in unchanged black oil. The mayo was from a packet that you had to press out. Lastly the drink I ordered was a Coca Cola which came in a 25cl cup with two ice cubes. Overall disappointing experience which felt like a tourist scam

29/03/2025: Order a grilled sandwich with cheese and grilled peppers. - is pleasantly surprised, as there is obviously a salad on the plate. However, there was a lot of onion in it. - but I don't eat. So couldn't eat it. It would have been nice to inform about that salad so that you could vote. And the sandwich really wasn't worth DKK 79. Practice..

07/09/2025: I highly recommend this bagel and sandwich shop! 🥯✨ Everything is super fresh, and you can clearly taste that good ingredients are used. The bread is delicious and crispy, the filling is always fresh and generous, and there are plenty of choices – both classic and more exciting combinations. The atmosphere in the shop is cozy, and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. You always feel welcome, and the service is fast, even when it's busy. Perfect place for both a quick lunch and a little extra pampering in everyday life. I will definitely come back – many times! 🌟

07/09/2025: This place has definitely won over my bagel-loving stomach 😍🥯 There's just something special about their sandwiches – they're fresh, flavorful, and you never leave hungry. I especially love that you can mix your own fillings so it's always exactly how you want it. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the people behind the counter are always smiling and ready to help (even when you're in doubt about what to choose... which I often am 😅). If you're looking for a place that's both delicious, fast, and filling – this is the place. Highly recommended!

21/12/2025: Just popped in for a quick beer. I regret it. NEVER in my life have I tasted a more flat draft beer. It was a Royal Classic which is otherwise quite nice, I'm unlikely to come by again...

18/06/2026: Ordered a calzone. The ham inside was the square pressed cutlet from the refrigerated counter at the nearest discount supermarket. Overall, it all looked very grey.

11/07/2026: Was in Helsingör with Children and Grandchildren, They took Sandwiches which were Ok. I ordered Plaice with French Fries. Was the driest, thinnest and most tasteless Plaice I have eaten....How can you serve something like that, no professional pride. Tourist trap, Warning.... Carita

06/07/2026: Once fried rice with chicken & vegetables tiny chicken pieces and overall crunchy dry dish A sweet and sour sauce with chicken that looked like something from a few days before The highlight of the day was the fries with remoulade 🤣😅

04/06/2026: nice place, was greeted by a happy and smiling lady. got fried rice and chicken in curry and a jumbo burger with fries. great everyone was happy and we staggered out the door again well fed. thanks for the food :)
