01/06/2026: Extremely slow service - reuse of cutlery for different dishes. It was significantly better when we were there previously. We ended up leaving before the ordered dessert after waiting 20 minutes for the main course to be cleared.

12/07/2026: It was overall a good experience! It's a bit confusing with the difference between the first floor and the living room both in menu and price? But otherwise it went mostly well. I took a lunch steak medium-rare to the red side and asked for pepper sauce instead of bearnaise. My guests took burger/fries and brunch 7 pieces. selected. Here it goes a bit wrong. Two of the dishes on the brunch plate were wrong according to the order when it came to the table but my guest lived with that. The potatoes were a bit boring and clearly not 2x fried - a bit too either charcoal fried and dry and/or only soft. They were simply not uniform enough in shape for a uniform frying. Hence the 3 stars. You need to buy some better fries! On the other hand, the lunch steak was right in the cupboard despite its thickness medium to the raw side as ordered, it was burger meat too and the pepper sauce is simply brilliant - I'll take it with a straw next time. Definitely take the pepper sauce! The service was attentive and yet discreet - super nice.

12/06/2026: We ordered food for Eid. It was the worst I have ever tasted. The food was swimming in oil. It tasted like old food! Their dessert, gajar ka halva, was like eating baby mash!

11/05/2026: Normally decent pizzas, but today I tried the Hawaian for the first time, expecting a pizza with ham and pineapple. What I got was half a kilo of ham with a little bit of pizza base and cheese underneath. The pineapple was only tossed on in the middle, not evenly scattered over the entire pizza. The excessive amount of ham made it inedible for me. Very disappointing.

23/08/2025: So, what the hell is going on at Rene's? The place itself is nice, but the bartender clearly hasn't passed the exam in good service. You really have to look a long time for such POOR service and get such poor and downright condescending treatment. I even witnessed a verbal assault on two girls the bartender didn't think were good enough to play pool. The worst part of the experience was actually that the bartender continued with his rude behavior, as if it was completely normal, without the slightest understanding that he was ruining the atmosphere for all the other guests. It was unpleasant to be there, and I left feeling like I had wasted both time and money.

19/08/2025: One of the few brown pubs that still exist, fortunately. Cozy atmosphere and great service and the food (beers) is cold and fresh from the box. I'm not a smoker but I always smoke at the worst. Thanks René.

11/05/2026: These burgers were amazing!! I can't wait to go back!! Excellent food and excellent service! The guys served us super fast and treated us to burgers that had everything and, most importantly, amazing flavor! If I'm not mistaken, the best in Cope! (They didn't make it into the picture 😋) Keep it up!!

07/05/2026: Best burger I’ve had in Copenhagen, no question!!! Amazing flavor, super fresh ingredients, and the service was excellent too. Friendly staff and a really chill vibe — definitely coming back.

09/05/2026: Unusually inattentive service. After being shown a seat outside, I sat there for 30 minutes without being given the opportunity to place an order.

16/05/2026: At this lovely cafe you can enjoy both wet and dry and sweet in the sun or under a parasol while you watch people and enjoy the atmosphere. My husband enjoyed a couple of Classic beers, while I was slightly drenched in tequila with pink grape soda on the rocks, and Orange Cognac liqueur with pink grape soda on the rocks. These are the 2 bottom drinks on the menu. We also tried their chocolate balls with soft dark chocolate, and their fig balls, delicious. Maybe you are lucky enough to meet the running and talking/playing little remote-controlled duck that makes everyone smile.

17/12/2025: Bad place, burnt pita bread which is toasted like a piece of toast and plain beef dry and boring without real spices in it like other places have but again you get what you pay for in terms of price and quality and place you choose but do not recommend others and buy from them!
