01/07/2026: We had a really bad experience and have written to the restaurant afterwards, without any response after 2 weeks - therefore the email is reproduced here - We were 12 for dinner on Saturday and despite all agreements NOTHING was ready - it was so embarrassing!!! I have ordered water in advance for everyone who just had to stand on the tables when we got up from the go-cart, as well as starters - various snacks and fries, as well as all the burgers that could land 5 minutes later. Then there would be time to order individual drinks and everyone would be able to order any desserts etc. before the kitchen closes at 8pm It took about 15 minutes before we had anything to drink - 20 minutes before some fried chicken and fries came and about 45 minutes before the burgers came and then they had missed the 3 of them, so 2 of them waited another 10 minutes and the very last one another 10 minutes, which meant he got his food when everyone else had eaten theirs…..not okay- not at all This is simply so poor of you - I can't be familiar with inviting the staff on a date and then offering them this. There were about 6 other guests besides us the whole evening, so it was definitely not due to the busyness either. Burgers came, but not all of what I had asked for as starters. I am somewhat surprised by the experience, Sallies seemed to be a place that was used to larger parties and much higher pressure on a Saturday. We have to conclude that it is not! The waiters really tried to save the evening, but unfortunately the race was over. I simply don't understand how it could go so wrong for you? Everything in the booking seemed professional and that everything was under control and we just had to sit back and enjoy a nice evening - but then there was NO communication to the place??? At least my table reservation was noted - but it wouldn't have been necessary because it was really empty, which surprises me a bit, but if our experience is the norm then I can actually understand it. Today I've heard about really slow fast food, about staff going to the toilets together and yes, about if we pass by again we can order via WOLT so we have a little bit of a wait.... On site they were welcoming and apologized a lot and gave a card and water etc. as compensation but basically, if it had been without a bill, I would still have preferred that it had gone as planned. I am writing to you because you need the information to look into what is going wrong - this must not happen if you are going to run the restaurant. Is it completely unique and has never happened before or is it not uncommon? Because then some work procedures need to be looked into. I had hoped that the trip on Saturday would be one that the staff talked about with enthusiasm and remembered for the coziness and the good food - but unfortunately they will never forget the experience for completely different reasons and there will be jokes about Saturday in Taastrup for a long time. Fortunately, most people thought the food was ok - however, I thought you should try your Portobello burger again, the way it is prepared is not good. It seemed overcooked, wet and sloppy - not super delicious, but unfortunately - right in the situation it hit home in my overall experience ☹ Furthermore, I thought it was a quite unfortunate situation to put your staff in - especially since it could have easily been avoided yes - it was not a great evening and I had actually expected a reaction after my email. They're probably fine for a drop-in evening - but I wouldn't recommend this place for anything important.

07/02/2026: Completely unreasonably expensive. If only the food had been delicious, but it was anything but. We created the atmosphere ourselves while we waited for the food. Not a single smile from the staff to any of the guests.

03/02/2026: €35 for a chicken burger that came directly out of a freezer. One of the worst burgers I have ever eaten. Served with 10 chips. Avoid the tip if you can. Service is limp.

17/06/2026: A classic selection of Bodenhoff's bread, especially interesting are their big bread and flute for company breakfasts.

20/05/2026: The employees were more busy drinking coffee themselves and talking about sabbaticals than helping customers 🙃 fair enough if they have a break, but they're just chilling by the coffee machine

28/03/2026: STAY AWAY! The worst restaurant experience I've had in years, topped only by the exceptionally poor ability to solve problems afterwards. We were there on a quiet evening, nice ladies took our order, and finally the food came. I had ordered Steak and fries, this steak was impossible to cut, and equally impossible to chew. I am a grown man with both good physical strength and willpower, but here I had to give in. I ate about 15% of the steak. The staff never came to the table, and when I called them to tell them that I couldn't eat the food, all I got was "that's sorry to hear". I tell them the same thing at the exit when paying, where I get back that it is company policy that the staff cannot refuse in any form, but I could get a free cup of coffee. With a policy like that, it seems that such food experiences are common there. STAY AWAY!

14/07/2026: Cozy running sushi 🍣 with many different kinds of sushi, baked dishes, chicken, duck, sausages and peas, cherries, strawberries, pineapple, melon, ice cream .... Very nice on small plates. There was also tabf, ginger and wasabi. There was definitely no shortage of tasty food 😋 Super nice staff when we asked for more creme br^ulee, there was also marshmallows..... Definitely worth a visit again, and our grandson and his girlfriend have praised it very much .... 1000 thanks for a wonderful evening ❤️

08/07/2026: Ordering at Ya Ya Sushi via Too Good To Go. ​This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered a "surprise box" (sushi and Chinese food) for pickup through the Too Good To Go app. ​My impressions: ​Portion size: In my opinion, the amount of food is enough for two people. ​Service: The staff was friendly and welcoming. ​Atmosphere: I picked up my order between 2:30 PM and 2:45 PM. There were no customers in the dining area at that time, so the pickup was quick and without any lines. ​A good first experience—everything was efficient and polite.

18/08/2026: The ice cream is fairly ordinary, creamy yes, but the basic ingredients are quite processed. Avoid the chocolate, it's rather bland. The service is quick and generous. It has the advantage of being open late.

11/08/2026: One can never be wrong about anything one orders for here. It is my go-to place for quick dessert cravings. Crunchy Churros with chocolate and softy is just too irresistible. Polite staff, prompt service, fresh ingredients. Love this place.

08/05/2026: All the reviews that are over six months old are from before they got a new chef, so I wouldn't trust them anymore. The quality has really gone downhill. I went there the other day to eat from their new a la carte menu. They recently changed it up, as the menu used to change monthly. But now they have a fixed menu and a new chef. Terrible food. Just barely edible. My friend chose their Carpaccio, but it was watery and we had to send it back. It was clearly taken out of a freezer or fridge because it was very cold and extremely watery with almost no taste. I got their shrimp cocktail, which was not at all like a traditional shrimp cocktail, which would have been okay if it hadn't tasted like they had bought a regular garlic butter from 365 around the corner. The shrimp were okay, but also watery and lacking in flavor. Next, my friend got a burger where the steak was cooked through (which he hadn't asked for), it was extremely bland and didn't live up to the name stormburger, if anything I think it should be called a "Blid vind måske" burger. And then the aioli that came with the fries was warm and had a greasy crust on it, so it seemed like it had been left either outside or in a warm cupboard. My other friend got a dry Wienerschnitzel with a sauce that was in no way a cloud sauce. It wasn't light in taste, it was far too salty and tasted almost a little burnt. If I remember correctly, it's a sauce that was used before the menu was changed, but the sauce doesn't suit a Wienerschnitzel at all. The hake was nice enough. I would stick to the pizzas. That's the only thing whose quality can't be put to the test. The pizzas are always enjoyed to the last bite, even the day after.

10/03/2026: Fantastic pizza buffet with good ingredients in focus. We had a party. Everyone went home happy. Not the last time..."Bolværket". We clash again!!
