27/03/2025: Five stars all around! This place is absolutely magical! The food was amazing but that's not what really stood out to me. It's how everything just comes together in this place. When I entered the little door and went down the stairs, I was greeted as if I was a king, returning to his castle full of loyal staff. Waiters are plentiful and incredibly polite. They spoke kind of like you would in the 1950s which fit the vibe of the place very well I think. It's hard to explain but in Danish there is a certain way of addressing someone respectfully, which has been lost in the sands of time. But not here! Waiters are very attentive and quick to pull out a chair for you. It was like being in a movie. The chefs came out with some of the dishes to be served at the tables and since we were a larger group the waiters made sure to be enough people serve all of us at the same time, rather than serving one or two guests at the time. The waiters were very good at explaining each dish, the food was fresh and the taste was out of this world. Also... Glasses were NEVER empty. Some people say the food is overpriced. And I get it. But you have to think of this experience as a whole. You're not just paying for the food. You're paying for premium service as well. I'm not a fancy eater, and this is probably the best and finest food I will ever have in my entire life. I am very grateful for the opportunity to dine and drink here, and I hope to be able to do so once more.

24/03/2025: It took me several months to post this review, I was so shocked by what I experienced in this restaurant... When ordering the signature menu at €380 (2800 DKK) per person, we very clearly asked the waiter if the wine accompanying the meal was included in the amount of €603 (4500 DKK) offered on the menu. Something he said twice, since we asked twice to be sure. But when it came time to pay the bill, I noticed that the amount was €2,000 (DKK 14,918). I almost passed out. I asked to speak to the waiter who had very clearly confirmed that the price of €603 per person included wine, but he was no longer there, as if by chance... In a word, the restaurant was very good, the food too, but it is only a 2 star and it absolutely does not have the level of a 3 star. However, the prices are more than overrated and even more expensive than a three star hotel. The problem comes from the fact that Danish is an incomprehensible language for anyone who hasn't learned it and the waiter's English must not have been as good as it seemed, unless it was a simple way to blow the bill for these passing tourists...

17/02/2025: I found this place while having a walk on my fist visit to the city, and needing a haircut I decided to give it a chance and I went in. I was attended by Osni, and I have no other words to describe it but profesional, skilled and highly passionate about his trade. I have long hair and I always struggle with finding a profesional who can deal properly with man long hair, but Osni knew exactly what to do and gave me a lot of tips for my hairstyle. I left the shop very happy and full of confidence with my fresh haircut. Totally recommended, I had a really good time and quality talk throughout the whole time there, top place, top people!

23/09/2024: Have stayed at Pension Sandbogaard twice. Both times Sandbogaard has created the setting for a magical stay in September. The host Lotte is probably the sweetest and best person in the world, the place is charming and the location in the middle of Sandvig is perfect.
