16/08/2026: We visited Café OHA in Frederiksberg for our wedding anniversary, and it was simply such a wonderful experience ❤️ The food was really delicious, fresh and of high quality. It was a great example of how exciting and tasty vegetarian and vegan food can be. At the same time, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming staff, who made us feel very comfortable from start to finish. When they found out that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, they even surprised us with a small piece of cake as a gift 🥰 It may have been a small gesture, but it meant a lot and made our visit even more special. It is precisely the combination of really good food, cozy surroundings and people who clearly care about their guests that makes a place worth returning to. Thank you so much to Café OHA for helping to make our wedding day a little extra cozy. We left feeling full, happy and with the feeling that we will definitely come back. A great and well-deserved recommendation from us 🌱❤️

20/07/2026: Celebrating my mother’s 82nd birthday called for something truly extraordinary, so my wife and I returned to Kadeau Bornholm for the third time. Spoiler alert: somehow, it just keeps getting better. Nestled on the rugged south coast of Bornholm in Sømarken, Kadeau is the absolute epitome of New Nordic dining. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet wonderfully relaxed, deeply connected to the island's terroir, and totally unpretentious. The menu is a complete masterclass in local foraging, fermentation, and preservation. We kicked things off with an exquisite selection of greens and seafood, beautifully paired with a glass of Jacques Lassaigne 'Les Vignes de Montgueux' Champagne. Every single dish was a work of art served on bespoke ceramics. Highlights included a daring but perfectly balanced scallop toast with mirabelle and ants (which provided a brilliant, citrusy pop of acidity!), and a beautifully earthy, creamy dish served whimsically on a bed of rustic hay. The progression of the meal was flawless. The dry-aged pork with jowl and heart was incredibly tender, bathed in a rich, glossy jus and elevated by the tartness of sloe berry and rowan shoots. And the desserts were on another level—from vibrant, fresh berries and cream, to a masterful, deep-hued blueberry tart, and finally, a breathtaking tart covered entirely in vibrant edible flower petals that tasted every bit as spectacular as it looked. But what truly transforms a great meal into an unforgettable experience is the hospitality. Our Austrian waitress was the absolute star of the front-of-house. She was sweet, deeply knowledgeable about the intricate menu and wine pairings, and went out of her way to ensure my mother felt celebrated. Adding to the intimacy of the evening, the chefs frequently stepped out of the kitchen to present their creations directly to our table, passionately sharing details about their preparation and foraging techniques. Kadeau Bornholm currently holds one Michelin star (alongside a well-deserved Green Star). However, in our humble opinion, this is unequivocally a two-Michelin-star experience housed within a one-star restaurant. Flawless execution, a breathtaking coastal location, and warm, engaging service. We are already looking forward to visit number four! 🥂✨

12/01/2026: Maybe it's good. But the service is far too slow. I stood behind those who ordered. I never made eye contact with either of the 2 waiters, neither before nor after it was my turn. I doubted if they had seen me. Since I couldn't wait any longer because of the train, I left without having achieved anything.

14/08/2026: The number of stars is an expression of the relationship between price, quality and my subjective experience of the place. We have visited Halsnæs Bryghus quite a few times over a long period of time. We have only left disappointed if everything has been busy; otherwise never. They have maintained a high standard of service at absolutely affordable prices. And I can promise you that you will not leave hungry. They don't skimp on the beer either, if that's your thing, and otherwise you can get wines that are also well worth the price. And then there's the service — we are always greeted by a friendly, attentive and attentive staff, making you feel welcome. All of this together creates a cozy setting both indoors and outdoors, a setting we feel comfortable in. Yesterday it was a warm day, so we chose to sit outside. It went as follows: a snack in the form of beer bread with salt and oil, Riesling for the wine glass and an IPA to quench our thirst while we waited for the dishes: fish soup (the creamy kind) and a plate of their vegetarian stew. Both were really delicious and plentiful; the fish soup was full of good things. I had the vegetarian stew, seasoned to taste, full of good ingredients both in and on the side (juicy wheat kernels) — the result was umami and strangely appetizing. Remember to check their blackboard, there may be "things" that are not on the menu... sooooo we finished with cheesecake with currant juice and strawberries on top — one for each. Halsnæs Bryghus has our best recommendations — we will definitely be back

26/01/2026: We are a cycling team from Lyngby who regularly come to Café Rosa. Most recently we were "flying" from Lyngby due to the tailwind and it was as always nice to stop at this cozy little café with delicious open sandwiches, good beer and an owner who provides a homely atmosphere. Thank you 🤗

29/12/2025: We had Sunday Roast with 3 servings of meat which was of very warming quality. Oh my! The side dishes were absolutely fine. Our waiter was incredibly unengaged, spoke so softly that she was a shadow of herself and almost impossible to get in touch with. After previous visits we had really looked forward to Sunday Roast with meat ad libitum, but oh my they couldn't live up to that.

21/12/2025: Food was a bit overrated, meat was ok but you can taste almost the same anywhere. Our meal was forgotten by the kitchen so we had to wait for almost 55 minutes for dinner after the starters. Nothing special about the atmosphere and the dinner.

11/07/2026: It was very nice, the staff is super friendly! :) we took buckwheat (amazing!), pastel de rosa (very good) and some kind of doughnut. And coffees of course. There was quite a lot of people, but it was worth the wait! 😍

08/07/2026: The food was good, but nothing wow. I did not like the atmosphere at all, we stayed outside and got the feeling to be at a parking stop like the ones you have in the high way. After finishing your breakfast, you take your plates away and place them in a designated table which was ok, what was really strange for us and was quite off-putting is the scene of a large stockpot filled with soapy water where customers put their used utensils! I am for nature and ecofriendly/sustainable practices, but that was off! Do I need to see this stockpot as a customer? Absolutely no.
