14/07/2025: I’m devastated by the news that Høvlen is no-more, and that it got bought up by investors from Reffen street food. This iconic place lasted 135 years. Thanks Iben for some real hygge. And of course not forget Buster 🐾. Hope to see Høvlen getting back to what it was, but for now, I’m scared it will turn into some juice-bar.

21/09/2025: Lets start with the friendly and knowledgable staff :-). Inside of a foodhall so I guess part of the pictures are from their old, or second location. But there is place to sit. I had a nice taiwanese oolong. Small and big servings

02/10/2025: WOW! What a great find! Only has about 200 gins, so I’ll need a couple more days to get thru them… ;-) . Staff can help you find something you like. He poured a few tastes for me to help home in on the right stuff. The “Not a Negroni” menu was amazing, still has the bitter of Negroni but doesn’t overwhelm the gin. Just GO!

14/11/2025: Delicious food, friendly staff and fast service! I had a pizza with pepperoni and pineapple which tasted perfect and my grandma was really happy with her pasta carbonara 🤗 we shared a delicious tiramisu for dessert

20/10/2025: Really good pizzas. They have several branches around the city. The 2 I have visited (Nørrebro and Amager) both deliver a stable quality. With good ingredients and really good taste. Can recommend their white pizzas

16/10/2025: Idyllic restaurant in Nyhavn. The mulled wine is the best I've ever had, and the food is highly recommended. Marcos, a very pleasant waiter, helped us choose both food and drinks. Excellent!

30/10/2025: As returning guests, we have again had lunch at Gl. Humlebæk Kro. The food was rarely wonderful and both food, service and service in general were super professional. The atmosphere was unforgettable in this perfectly formed time slot. The worst thing is that we can only give 5 stars. Gl. Humlebæk Kro has deserved far more. That is why we refresh this experience at regular intervals. We cannot do without it. Hanne Lindgaard Jensen.

16/10/2025: A super cozy mix between an old-fashioned brown tavern (minus the smoke) and a modern beer bar. The staff is always super nice and welcoming. Of course there is a difference in experience, but in general they all have a good knowledge of the beers they sell and are good at giving inspiration 😊 We like to come here, both on weekdays and weekends and if we have been elsewhere in the city, it usually ends up that we just have to go in and round off the evening in a cozy setting😊 Little bonus... If you are more hungry than for their otherwise delicious snacks... Then it is completely okay to bring a pizza, durum or similar♥️

14/09/2025: Your taste buds will love you for ordering food at Grano & Luppolo From my first visit, a wonderful atmosphere mixed with contagious smiles and coziness welcomed me. And I was immediately tempted by a varied menu. With everything from the expected pizzas, various pasta dishes to Sicilian specialties. Grano & Luppolo is a genuine Italian pizzeria that exudes coziness and where they take pride in making things from scratch. Quality is the key word - from the choice of ingredients to the machines used in the kitchen. Most recently, I ordered a fresh pasta tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, freshly made Italian sausage, truffle & parmesan. And I was sent straight back the taste of a summer vacation in Liguria. Nice balance between the taste of truffle and the Italian sausage. I have a new favorite on the menu! I can only recommend that you drop by and taste the delights, for lunch to dinner - or have a chat with the place about some delicious Italian food for your next company event! Oh yes! The location is perfect - right next to Menu. An obvious option is to order the food, do the day's shopping on the other side of the street... and then grab the pizza, pasta, etc. to take home to the family!
