05/07/2024: Disappointing. Does not comply with the opening hours, according to Google and the place itself opens every day from 11 am, however today Friday being 12:25 the place is still not open, a waste of time and fuel to get there.

03/07/2025: Good and cozy location - BUT I have to admit that the place really needs to be refreshed. Also seems to come to wrinkled "plastic" tablecloths that have been used far too many times looks a bit annoying. Maybe a piece of disposable paper could be used instead that could be changed after each party. It would be more appetizing and inviting. I think it's a shame that the building is so worn out. I think a coat of paint would do wonders.
The food is good old-fashioned chrome food.
Friendly and accommodating staff.

01/06/2025: Worst place to date!
We had won some money and press pay on their terminal and a piece of paper comes out saying you personally have to pay out the money! The owner refuses to do that (he simply refuses to pay out the money on that piece of paper)
In addition, they do not uphold the law with young people under 18 and playing cards used by different users!
If I do not hear anything from them regarding a solution with our 4000kr today at 2:00 PM, they are hereby reported to the gambling authorities (evidence is required)

01/09/2025: The ice cream doesn't live up to the hype at all - just average taste, but priced way too high. Honestly felt it was a waste of money and I won't be back. Definitely not recommended.
07/08/2025: I really don't understand the hype around Okkels in Silkeborg. I was looking forward to a good ice cream experience, but this was a real disappointment. The ice cream was anything but gelato – it lacked both the creamy consistency and the intense flavor you expect from real Italian ice cream. It felt more like cheap soft serve ice cream than something that should be called “gelato”.
If you really know gelato, you know that this is nowhere near it. It tasted artificial and watery. I would have rather gotten a package from the supermarket – that would have been better.
All in all, a really disappointing experience. I won't be back.

28/06/2025: We had unfortunately ordered a lot of sandwiches for a baby shower. Unfortunately, the food never showed up, and we couldn't get hold of them. So we were left with 15-20 people without food for a surprise party and had to spend double the amount financially to fix the situation.
26/05/2025: The sandwiches as such, we have no complaints about as such, but they can't count. They were nice big for 42kr each. I order 16x3 pieces and get 38 pieces. However, we only paid for the 38 pieces. There were 15 of us and the sandwiches, so there were quite a few who didn't get their fill.

13/07/2025: Nice cafe with a courtyard. The food was okay, large sandwiches with a nice selection of fillings. Nachos were okay, but boring and not much chicken in them and very small bowls of salsa etc. The prices were too high, a real tourist place, where the quality of the food unfortunately did not meet expectations.
10/07/2025: Love this place. Very nice sandwiches we love coming to the cafe.

18/05/2025: Average sushi, and disinterested service. You have to be careful when shopping with them as they use all sorts of tricks to mislead consumers (discount schemes that require special conditions, active opt-out of newsletters with "poorly" worded descriptions, etc.).
03/05/2025: I bought sushi at SushiArt yesterday. I made it clear that I cannot tolerate gluten. The two young employees were helpful and checked a chart of allergens many times. A few of the rolls the chef made without the ingredients that contained gluten. However, I got sick before I finished the meal. It occurred to me that EVERYTHING had been prepared on the same cutting board, with the same utensils. They therefore have no control over cross-contamination, and I recommend others with allergies or celiac disease to avoid the place. I'm still sick of it today. Super boring.
