22/02/2026: Super rude employees, it's like they have a problem with their customers wanting dressing on their pizza, they start trying to cheat you by charging 5kr extra for dressing all of a sudden and act like you've done something wrong when you ask them to put toppings on your pizza slice. Super bad service and rude staff

15/09/2025: Visited with extended family as part of our Morfar’s memorial weekend and it was a disaster from start to finish. We arrived at 7.30pm on a Friday and only 3 other tables were occupied. We were greeted by a young waitress who took our drinks orders and we then had to wait 50 minutes to get them. They didn’t have any bottles of the house red OR house white (despite it being a very limited wine list of about 5 wines) and in the end we had to settle for alternative wine options/carafes. Our food took about an hour to arrive and when it did our experiences were mixed: the pizzas were generally good but the pasta dishes less so. My cousin’s carbonara had just ONE piece of bacon in it and no pepper. When this was raised with the owner he stated that salt and pepper weren’t listed on the menu as ingredients included in the dish and so we shouldn’t have expected it. There was a lot of confusion when the food arrived as staff just shouted out the dish number from the menu (which we hadn’t been told to remember) and they couldn’t tell us what each dish was. We ended up asking for a menu so we could work out which dish belonged to who. One pizza was completely wrong and when the correct one came out, it had bacon on it which wasn’t in the listed ingredients! When the manager was asked why the wrong pizza had been delivered to the table he stated that he couldn’t read the handwriting of the waiting staff so he’d had to guess! At the end of the night, we complained to the manager about our awful experience and he just made excuse after excuse refusing to apologise or accept any fault. At the end of the discussion he agreed to a 50% discount on the misdelivered pizza but stated that he ‘wasn’t making Italian food in Rome - he was making Italian food in Silkeborg’…… The restaurant is called Roma but it seems customers shouldn’t go expecting Italian cuisine of any note. Stay away unless you want a confusing and chaotic evening out.

23/09/2025: Super nice owner and an ok meal for dinner, but that's where the positives end. The breakfast was below average, the sausages were undercooked, the eggs tasted strange and the bread crumbled. It was extremely noisy and the bathroom only had hot water in the shower. Last but definitely not least, the cleaning staff barged in twice without knocking, two and one hour before check-out time respectively. I will not stay there again.

05/08/2025: Rooms ok clean and decent. Spookie pillows - reminiscent of sofa cushions with covers Unmanned Inn and Hotel? Unmanned reception until the day of departure, but breakfast was ready every morning. So it was more B&B actually corresponding to what was expected. Notice that the restaurant was closed came the same day as check-in 16/7! This means that a room could not be cancelled where the deadline was 2/. There has been no notice of this at any time. Would not have stayed there if it had been stated from the start that the restaurant was closed. Was going down to the city for a pizzaria or for a sandwich in Rema1000 after a long tourist day. There was a smell of tobacco all the way up to the 1st floor where we stayed. The smell comes from the gambling club/brown cafe that is connected to the hotel. Then we experienced Aulum Inn & Hotel!

05/01/2026: This is the second time I've ordered a panini from here. Not the best tasting experience. The first time I ordered a turkey panini. It was packed with melted cheese so you couldn't really taste much else, very greasy and a shameful experience. Subsequently tried their panini with beef strips. I must say the disappointment was great at first bite. It wasn't beef strips but clearly pre-made shawarma meat. The taste from there was super intense and again with a lot of cheese. Maybe a little misleading. If I had wanted shawarma I would have bought it somewhere else. Their juices are super delicious on the other hand.

08/07/2025: You've tried a lot of fast food in your life, but what KFC in Herning delivers is unfortunately one of the less fortunate acquaintances. I had been looking forward to crispy, juicy chicken with the famous spice mix and a little Southern magic in a cardboard bucket. Instead, I got a round of unidentifiable pieces that could hardly convince me that they had ever been near a live chicken. The meat was boring, the texture strange, and the whole thing seemed like some kind of leftover meal that had given up on itself. And then it's a bit sad that the prices are on the high end for something that neither looks nor tastes like real chicken. I don't want to throw mud – because the staff was friendly, and the place was nice – but my appetite has quietly retreated and I have no plans to return for the time being. I really wanted to give it another chance, but my stomach says "no thanks", and it usually has the last word.

28/06/2025: The American chain KFC has temporarily closed all 11 of its outlets in Denmark. It was discovered that its employees had been falsifying labels. In this way, they were extending the shelf life of chicken, which was also supposed to be defrosted directly on the floor. The scandal was revealed by Danish journalists. After their publication, the food inspection carried out an unannounced inspection.

28/01/2026: I was there with my girlfriends and had pasta. Really good experience and fantastic food. Definitely a place I will come back to!

19/12/2025: With 250 kr out of my “wallet” I am well aware that it is not because I should expect the wildest feast, but a carbonara that does not contain pre-cooked pasta, tasteless and rubbery bacon and a sauce that most resembled a thin layer of cream with a little salt in it - and a layer of tortellini that resembles those you pay 20 kr for net, I still think 250 kr is quite expensive. With a view to marketing yourself as a pasta place that makes handmade, I think maybe you should revise it. I would like to thank you for the food, but it will not happen this time - I also think this is the last time I look your way.

17/02/2026: Best Carls Jr restaurant in Denmark. Have compared the taste of the burgers at many Carls Jr and this one in Randers Storcenter tastes significantly better than the other restaurants. Don't know why. Have eaten here many times.

20/01/2026: It was filthy. There was trash on the floor as soon as you walked in. Corners/edges around counters etc. were black/dirty. You think "if the dining area looks like this, what does the kitchen look like?" We have been disappointed there quite a few times now. Don't think we will be back.

06/01/2026: Considering it was not as pricey as other places on the street, the sandwiches were quite good, specially the pulled beef one. I also recommend the Hulk juice (gingery). The service was good and kind. The highlight was the background music, they were playing Neo soul tracks like D'Angelo, Maxwell, etc. Very good choice that made me enjoy the meal even more.

01/11/2025: There is a nice new owner. Unfortunately they only had slices when we arrived at midnight. The bread was excellent but very limited filling.

30/08/2025: Had a party for 25 people where we had mega pizzas delivered from Pizza Expressen. They were really good pizzas with great service. So big kudos to them. 🙏 Thank you. 👍😃

31/07/2025: If it had been possible to give a minus, I would have gladly given a BIG MINUS. Was going to have take away but it didn't work out right that you had seen 2 to 5 minutes earlier that there were people who had just taken take away from this restaurant.

21/07/2025: I ordered three takeout pizzas, but only got two because the kitchen apparently didn't understand the order. I said I'd wait for the full order because I had guests at home, but they refused. So we had to choose who would eat and who would just watch, or share it among all the guests and still be hungry. The pizzas weren't cut by the restaurant, so we had to cut them ourselves. It seems the chef didn't understand that takeout pizzas should be cut into slices. Taste: Some people liked it, while others complained that it was dripping with grease, too salty, and too tough. We won't be ordering pizza from there again.

21/03/2026: If I could give less than 1 star I would have done so the food was supposed to be delivered at 7:00 PM we call at 7:25 PM he says "haven't you got your food yet? It's been a long time since he drove. At 7:32 PM the food arrives cold and the wrong pizza.

20/02/2026: Called after 30 minutes to ask where the food was, they thought they had been here, but couldn't get in touch with us because they didn't have our phone number. Our monitoring says they haven't been here, they hadn't called either. 1 hour late they delivered the cold food.

02/12/2025: Maybe an okay place, if it was possible to get serviced. Alas, despite ringing the bell twice over 3 minutes, the server continued to put away dishware.

30/11/2025: Got scolded by her behind the counter for taking a picture of the menu… very angry that I wasn't supposed to take a picture when she was standing there. She wasn't even in the picture. The way she said it was also very rude. Maybe next time you should consider how you say things? You never know what the other person is going through. It would be nice if you could have a quick chat with the staff about a good tone🥲🥲! Was there on November 30th around 6:40 PM.
