17/03/2025: Beautiful, spacious room, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and really well stocked honesty bar. Highly recommend!

16/03/2025: Hotel Villa Provence in Aarhus is a charming and atmospheric hotel with a fantastic location in the heart of the city. With plenty of good restaurants and shops just around the corner. The room was nice and cosy, and the hotel's French-inspired style provided a complete and authentic experience. Especially in the summer, the hotel will come into its own when the beautiful courtyard can be enjoyed to the fullest. The service was also welcoming and polite. A nice detail was the "newspaper" i.a. with the hotel's history. However, there are small things that can be improved. The breakfast area can feel a bit cramped and the temperature of the bath water was not always stable. The room was cold on arrival, and small practical details such as a too short cable for the kettle could be optimised. Another small thing is that not all guests like to mix drinks themselves - here it could be an advantage to point out that the staff are happy to help when they have time. All in all, Villa Provence is a wonderful experience, especially for those who value charm, personal atmosphere and good location.

08/07/2026: I agree with the previous reviewer. Sure, visitors can ride a mechanical bull, walk on a bungee cord, play a handful of arcade games, or go bowling. But I didn't get the impression that the owner is investing much love or money in it anymore. Furthermore, many things, like air hockey, bouldering, etc., require additional payment. It was certainly once a great place for adults to let loose, but those days are long gone. Even the fact that the staff are very friendly and helpful doesn't change that. Sorry, I can't recommend it!

18/07/2026: Super nice service and lovely food. Unfortunately there was a small shortage on the menu that day, but the staff offered a good solution. Good southern atmosphere.

23/06/2026: They make delicious sandwiches and they have a large selection in their salad bar. Their pizzas are also really delicious, as well as their burgers and fries. There is the option to eat on site or take the food home. There is a small cozy room where you can enjoy your food and a patio when the weather is good.

13/04/2025: Lovely place where we had a delicious salad with pointed cabbage, salted almonds, apples, cherry tomatoes, salmon and delicate dressing with citrus. Good balance and interaction - delicious. Smiling and friendly service, who promptly followed up on a few questions that could not be answered at first.

28/08/2024: det var det værste jeg nogensinde har smagt i mine 90 år og det var så dårligt at jeg tog hjem efter 2 min og fik noget 1 star mad som var 10x bedre
