Vi havde kigget på menukort hjemmefra og viste vi ville have "Stegt lange"

18/05/2025: We were super sad that it was just a bakery serving only filtered coffee - we should have checked again. We went to the coffee place to get coffee as well.
The pastry was very good - one of the best cinnamon buns I have ever had (I live in DK!). Unfortunately, the cardamom buns were burnt so did not try them.
The staff was super nice :)

01/04/2025: Bedste stegte flæsk i Aarhus. Dejlige tykke skiver. Hjemmesyltet rødbeder. Skøn sovs med frisk persille på toppen. Karin er altid en fantastisk vært!!!
17/01/2025: For andet år i træk leverer Restaurant Europa en suveren oplevelse med helt igennem hjemmelavet mad. Det gør altså en stor forskel.

22/04/2025: Fantastic experience to visit Cafe Åland again and again! always nice with good service and nice food! Staff are extremely welcoming and nice to talk to.
15/04/2025: Cozy place and really good food with nicely large brunch portions. What drags it down a bit is the waiting time. First a little bit of waiting time for the reserved table. Then a half-hour wait for us to be able to order (!) and another half-hour wait for us to get our orders. Perhaps they had underestimated the number of visitors on a Tuesday morning at Easter...?

It is possible to eat in the restaurant, but it is most obvious to order takeaway (which we did), so I have chosen not to assess the atmosphere of the place - but if you are into delicious, authentic Japanese food that is not just sushi or ramen for the 117th time, finally try Tokyo Kitchen. My partner and I can recommend number 1 and number 6, plus the homemade Taberu Rayu for the rice.
