15/09/2026: Nice place, good food, good service. Just one think I didn't really like it... was a little bit too pricey... :) For similar food, anywhere in Central/South-Eastern Europe you would have to pay max 70-80 Euro, here I paid about 120 Euro. Still, good place.

24/09/2026: An amazing staff who was extremely welcoming even stayed open a bit later for us. Food was fantastic cooked perfectly and pair well with some beer selections. Do enjoy coming here when I visit .

24/09/2026: I really enjoyed my experience here! The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor area has a really cozy atmosphere, with warm lights and a slightly darker vibe that I really liked. It feels very warm and welcoming. We chose to sit outside, which was also really nice. Of course, you are a little more exposed to the weather, but the staff kindly offered us blankets, which I thought was a very nice touch. The service was excellent. I’m currently learning Danish, but I’m more comfortable speaking English, so I really appreciated that they have an English menu and that the staff speaks English. Everyone was very kind, attentive, and patient with us. I went with a group of four and ordered the pork steak tartare. It was really tasty and tasted very fresh. The sauce was also really well-seasoned, and I enjoyed my meal a lot. There were several interesting options on the menu, so I think there’s something for different tastes. The prices are a little high, but I think it’s worth it if you’re looking for a place to celebrate something special or just have a nice evening out. They also have a great selection of drinks, so it would be a nice place for a dinner with friends or a special occasion. Overall, I had a really nice experience and would definitely come back!

25/09/2026: A wonderful place, delightful service, beautiful interiors, and the tastiest vanilla ice cream in Aarhus. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I will definitely be back.

08/08/2026: Dessert cafe is perhaps too strict. It's only delicious ice cream in a cup or waffle that you can eat.😁 But a cozy place where you can eat ice cream with good taste.

14/09/2026: A hidden gem. We drove past quite by chance and now look at some cute girls standing there in the cart. We arrived a little late to get some chicken, it was sold out, but they said so quickly. We got the most amazing bowls, as well as sheep's year rolls and sandwiches, and everything just tasted so good and was completely fresh. Good quality and prices. Thank you so much for the very delicious food. We have already talked about when we can come by again even though we drive from Horsens.

17/08/2026: Great food although the cold rolls were a bit disappointing

29/08/2026: We were going to celebrate our 20th anniversary at Ålekroen and had booked a table a long time ago until 1:30 p.m. When we arrived, we were placed in the middle of a wedding party outside, we felt really out of place there. We ordered shooting stars, which we had also had 5 years ago and was fantastic, but how disappointed we were, everything was tasteless, there was no salt and they had forgotten the salmon, we only discovered it when we got home. We had to ask for cutlery, salt and pepper after they had served the food. We got water and the waiter wanted to bring glasses, but he didn't come, so we had to ask for glasses ourselves after a while. While we ate, there had to be quiet, as there was a wedding going on 15 m. from where we were sitting, so we couldn't enjoy ourselves and talk while it was happening. It seemed like they should inform us about something like that. Who wants to sit in the middle of a wedding party that we are not invited to, and can't talk to each other because of the wedding. We will never go there again and cannot recommend it to anyone.
