22/11/2025: We always come to Støvlen when we go to Ebeltoft. Really delicious food, friendly and fast service. Definitely worth a visit - but remember to RESERVE a TABLE well in advance.

23/08/2025: We got takeaway. 4 x Tapas, gambas pil pil and a pizza. We were disappointed. Tapas looked like it had been made many hours in advance. Dry cucumber slices and cheese bars. It was just a sad and boring tapas. Pizza OK, gambas shrimp did not live up to expectations either. So will not have anything but pizza as takeaway here next time.

07/01/2026: Cozy coffee shop in the center of Aarhus. We had two coffees and they were good, but expensive.

06/01/2026: A nice coffee place where you get some information on the various types of coffee served and, most importantly, the farmers are paid fairly.

13/05/2026: A little oasis… I open the door and am swallowed up by a lovely little break. Through the windows, I see that life outside continues unabated. In here, time stands still for a moment. The best coffee, delicious cake, quiet, cozy – now I understand 'hygge'.

19/12/2025: Juhls Spisehus has really good service. The staff is some of the best – always friendly, welcoming and professional. The owner is incredibly sweet, polite and makes you feel very welcome. A really lovely experience, highly recommended.

18/12/2025: I won't comment much on the food. What makes me unable to recommend the place is what I've been told by several waiters: The owner supposedly keeps the tips even though they are given to the staff. I personally tip the waiter who has provided the service, with the expectation that he keeps them himself - not in the owner's pocket. In addition, according to the same sources, bad reviews are used to review who was working that day, rather than taking the criticism constructively. This creates an unsafe working environment, where the waiters are held accountable in an unreasonable way. I don't really care about the food, it's probably good. But on principle I can't support a place with that culture, at the same time making others aware of this.

27/05/2026: Incredibly tasty food and drinks adapted to the food. The service was good, the waiter came down to present both the food and drinks. There were even some funny anecdotes.

06/05/2026: There were 18 of us and everyone was happy and satisfied with the food. Even though the restaurant was full, there was no wait for the meat.

02/10/2025: A truly great café with a substantial menu and good service! This was our first time in Aarhus and we actually wanted to start our day trip with a quick bite and a coffee/café latte! As luck would have it, we ended up at EmmaEmma. What luck! Everything was perfect, from the service to the ambiance to the food (one breakfast and one brunch (spicy eggs & salad with chicken) – fantastic – plus the warm and filling whole-grain rolls – fantastic. We'll be back when we're back in Aarhus.
