17/03/2025: Beautiful, spacious room, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and really well stocked honesty bar. Highly recommend!

16/03/2025: Hotel Villa Provence in Aarhus is a charming and atmospheric hotel with a fantastic location in the heart of the city. With plenty of good restaurants and shops just around the corner. The room was nice and cosy, and the hotel's French-inspired style provided a complete and authentic experience. Especially in the summer, the hotel will come into its own when the beautiful courtyard can be enjoyed to the fullest. The service was also welcoming and polite. A nice detail was the "newspaper" i.a. with the hotel's history. However, there are small things that can be improved. The breakfast area can feel a bit cramped and the temperature of the bath water was not always stable. The room was cold on arrival, and small practical details such as a too short cable for the kettle could be optimised. Another small thing is that not all guests like to mix drinks themselves - here it could be an advantage to point out that the staff are happy to help when they have time. All in all, Villa Provence is a wonderful experience, especially for those who value charm, personal atmosphere and good location.

07/06/2025: I tried it because the reviews were good, but maybe I ordered the wrong thing💦 The dandan noodles weren't bad, but I felt they were a little off. The minced meat was not seasoned like dandan noodles, but had an Indian-style spiciness that made it not dandan noodles. The sesame-based soup was pretty good. But the noodles were like Japanese soba? They weren't Chinese noodles. The gyoza and fried chicken were subtly Southeast Asian-style. They were delicious in their own way. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool, and the staff and waiters were polite, so I had a pleasant meal.

14/07/2025: What a great place with delicious food, nice people, cozy atmosphere. The food is vegan, amazing! It feels like at home. The only thing I would improve is dinner menu, food there is quite heavy for evening (oil, fat, unhealthy), I would add at least something light and healthy. I also liked they are involved to activism and looking for volunteers, I want to support places like this.

10/07/2025: A nice little restaurant. We had the Frokost 3 sushi menu and the Red Thai Curry. The taste was good, but not outstanding. The service staff was very friendly, but unfortunately overwhelmed as the only one serving, as they were also running the takeout business. Even though new guests were already seated at the next table, the dishes from the previous guests weren't cleared away for another 20 minutes. The prices were reasonable; if you want to save money, come before 3 p.m. - Dogs are allowed. - Card payments accepted

06/07/2025: You feel comfortable there. Simple and cozy. The gentleman who served us was very nice and spoke good German, too. That made things easier. We had pancakes, and they were delicious. I can recommend the place for a little "sweet break."
