21/08/2026: Ugh, I must honestly admit I was blown away, yes it took a while to get your food but it must take some time to get quality, and you can squ bite yourself in the nose that you get that here I got a menu, pita with beef fillet and fries, pita fresh and delicious bread and completely airy, delicious dressing, and the salad completely fantastic choice in standard with both peas and corn and free choice of e.g. jalapenos, red onion or cucumber salad. The fries they were completely crispy and airy and delicious

26/11/2025: Small place with super nice service (I appreciate the English menu and talk) and food so delicious that makes me wish I lived in Silkeborg to taste it more often. If not for a colleague's recommendation, I would probably never visit it as it doesn't look like much from outside, but inside the magic happens. I highly recommend it!

30/07/2026: The coziest cafe indoors and cafeteria just like outdoors. Good beers good sandwiches. The small croissants = very small, not filling but tasted good. Sandwich in top class. Unfortunately did not make it back to the cupboard 😁

11/07/2026: I would happily return to Hotel Royal in the fall, winter, or spring. The building is charming (the glass-domed restaurant off the the spiral stair case is a dream), and the staff is warm and attentive. Caveat: air conditioning is not as advertised. The room we paid a premium for had a non-functional unit, and when we went to the desk to report the issue, we had to wait behind guests there to discuss their own malfunctioning A/C. We were offered a credit, but the night of sleep was mostly a loss. It wasn’t an ideal experience, but enough was great that the next time we’re in Århus during a season when the probable high is 20° or less, look for us at the Hotel Royal.

21/07/2026: Nice little place to spend a few hours as a family. Maze, mini golf, small rowboats and pet animals.

19/07/2026: We just wanted to see the map and move on. However, you can only buy a ticket for the playground and goat enclosures. It was a rainy day with few visitors. We didn't go inside. 75 euros for 2 adults and 3 kids wasn't worth it.

09/08/2026: Excellent restaurant at affordable prices. Ordered a lot of food and they said it would take about 35 minutes. When I came in it wasn't ready. Understandable if they were busy. When you come in the door you are met with a counter and some chairs. Such a small waiting room. I have never seen that before. When I called it went to voicemail and they said they were closed for the holidays. They haven't turned it off. But luckily they called me back.

04/07/2026: We ordered ribeye. I'm a little confused about what the well-done marinated meat we got was. Maybe our order was mixed up. We'll probably eat our steak somewhere else in the future

17/08/2026: We are one with celiac disease and one who eats gluten. Chose this place as someone had highlighted gluten free here. The gluten free available were summer rolls with duck and various Phơ Xao (fried rice noodles). Tried both and was satisfied, good food and generous portions. They seemed to have good control, and had gluten free soy sauce. The gluten eater got fried wontons and soup no. 38 and was also full and satisfied.

31/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. There were two guests. One's food had obviously been waiting for the other's food to be cooked. In any case, it was half cold and limp when it finally arrived. I couldn't bear to complain. I had already waited far too long for the food. The food wasn't inedible, but that's all.

26/03/2026: Damn good experience, came to watch the national match, the atmosphere is just there, the bartenders are some guys, I'm a fan, 10/10 experience, even my friend who is not a football fan gets caught up in the atmosphere

26/06/2026: We hadn't been to Brasserie Belli since the time when guests were allowed to smoke inside, and the experience that time hadn't been so good either, so we had to try it again. It was a warm evening, and we had booked a table that turned out to be the second last before the kitchen in an empty restaurant inside. We didn't want that because of the heat and the smell of food, but fortunately there was space outside (although without a table). We both had tartar for a starter, and it tasted fine. We also had good homemade bread with it. Because of the heat, I chose their excellent and simple burger, as the other dishes seemed 'heavy' for the season. The other person in the party had the veal breast, which was tasty. We both had excellent wine by the glass with our food. The staff was very attentive to both dishes and breaks.
