28/01/2026: Very simple, authentically stylish. The taste is amazing. Everything was great! The hostess probably cooked the dishes. We received Gyozo dumplings as a gift! It was very surprising and delightful.

31/12/2025: We had a really good experience at this café, and a very big thank you to Matilda. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests, especially for our toddler’s breakfast. Matilda checked up on us regularly and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. As tourists visiting from London, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was spot on. Thank you

09/11/2025: Friendly and smiling service, delicious cakes and absolutely reasonable prices. Possibility of coffee, but from a vending machine. The shop looks very anonymous, but there is a bit of a gem hidden there both in terms of quality and prices - definitely worth a visit!

10/10/2025: I took bread, rolls and cake with me and everything was delicious 😋. Even though I don't speak Danish, I was able to order everything without any problems and the saleswoman was very nice, thank you again 😊.

14/08/2025: Really delicious food that tasted fantastic, fresh ingredients, made from scratch. Very attentive, friendly & smiling staff, who even asked if our dog needed water. We sat at tables/benches set, on our skins, under a parasol, which can do more than shade from the sun, namely a small rain shower. Definitely a visit

22/12/2025: Pretty disappointed with the very un-cozy style of the cafe, not the hyggelig aesthetic you’d expect from scandi bakery. It’s super bright with mismatched, uncomfortable chairs and weird blue faces on walls and just completely mismatched style. What was on offer was very limited as well, which was super disappointing given all the recipes this woman makes, and we came the week before Christmas, so we were definitely expected some Christmas cookies and much more bakery goods. Very disappointing and could not recommend

02/10/2025: A truly great café with a substantial menu and good service! This was our first time in Aarhus and we actually wanted to start our day trip with a quick bite and a coffee/café latte! As luck would have it, we ended up at EmmaEmma. What luck! Everything was perfect, from the service to the ambiance to the food (one breakfast and one brunch (spicy eggs & salad with chicken) – fantastic – plus the warm and filling whole-grain rolls – fantastic. We'll be back when we're back in Aarhus.

08/02/2026: Today I was passing through and decided to have dinner with colleagues. We ordered four durum kebab. When we entered the pizzeria, it was deserted, which made me wary. But hunger got the better of us and we couldn't leave without trying the durum kebab. I didn't regret it. It was delicious. I give it 5 stars and we'll be back someday.
