17/08/2024: There is actually not a bad thing to say. I'm not sure I'd sit down there and eat. But in return the food is really good! Especially their roll kebab/durum roll. I get around a lot. But after a good 10 years, I still haven't found one that can replace it. In addition, the owner is really nice. And the prices are very reasonable

04/11/2024: Great campsite in a beautiful location almost right on the water. The course is terraced so that many places can enjoy great views, some even overlooking the water. The pitches are relatively straight and have at least one electricity connection (16A; electricity is charged at a flat rate). The sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained. The site also includes a kitchen, an outdoor pool and a small café/restaurant with outside seating; the café is open seasonally. It was about 25km to Aarhus and a visit there is really worth it. And we really liked the place and we would like to come back 👍👍

29/07/2024: I am still shocked by this little gem, the prices are top notch as is their service. Highly recommended! Ordered 2 slices which I can usually eat very easily, but here you get full from a single slice, all in all super delicious! dressing, chilli, garlic and on top of that salad, for a small price of 35kr each, really worth all the money, huge recommendation from here!😀

17/10/2024: If you think that there are endless fish restaurants in this coastal town, you are very much mistaken. So I was full of hope when I found this restaurant. I ordered the 4 course fish menu, which was accompanied by various wines (3 glasses). So far so good. Two of the four courses were really delicious, but as we all know, taste is debatable. What I really disliked, however, were the children's meals. The taste was good, but visually it was a disaster. There were two meatballs with tartar sauce and a dollop of tartar sauce. They could have made a face out of it or added some color with some vegetables, but instead they opted for the bland Campingpaltz version. We were there for about 1.5 hours, but we weren't asked once if we wanted something to drink. Due to the size of the portions, we went to the supermarket hungry with almost €240 less in our wallets.

06/10/2024: We loved the main dish of beef fillet with potatoes and mushrooms. Cheese selection was ok, but nothing to write home about. Service was pretty disinterested. The bill was pretty high.

10/10/2024: We had booked a table elsewhere for a 30th birthday. But this did not go as planned. So a little spontaneously we trooped up, 4 adults, 2 children, at the town's café. What a great reception, they found us a table, put up a flag and were super helpful. We were warned that there might be a bit of a wait, but 10 minutes after we had sat down at the table, they were ready. We had the most delicious food and the service was just top notch. So thank you to Byens Cafe for saving a very important day for our family. We will definitely come again.

06/10/2024: A little surprising to find such a gem in Jelling. Visit it. Try it. It's really nice.

31/08/2024: Their bread and pastries are absolutely fantastic and by far the best in Town. But similarily to the other Jumbo, this high quality comes at a pretty steep price, especially considering the location of this one isn't quite as central.

21/10/2024: If you are into something a little special, then Babba is the place. There is only one menu, snack, starter, intermediate course, main course, dessert. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take pictures of anything but the dessert, which is probably the smallest and most boring I've had. The main course itself was okay, pork jowls which are deliciously tender. Everything is served on small lunch plates or small dessert plates. It is a very stylish restaurant, rather smart mugs where you burn your fingers, than boring mugs with handles. A nice and cozy place, but not for me. The price is on the slightly more expensive end. Sweet and friendly staff who explained all the dishes.
