23/09/2026: We were initially skeptical because of the mixed reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas (Tonno, Funghi, and Frutti di Mare) were large and absolutely delicious. We would definitely come back. Update: September 23, 2026 Tonight we ordered takeout from Pizzeria Valentino. Again I wonder where the bad reviews come from. It was delicious again. We had four different pizzas and the salmon dish with potatoes. Everyone was extremely satisfied. Next year we're vacationing in Sondervig again, and of course we'll go back to Pizzeria Valentino!

21/09/2026: Very accommodating, friendly service even if you don't speak Danish and have limited English. We had a lovely evening.

12/08/2026: Without a doubt the best sushi place, and can 100% recommend it. It tastes really good, looks nice, and doesn't fall apart. The price is also very cheap, and tastes better than the expensive places😊

10/09/2026: The banh mi was absolutely packed with flavour, the pork was cooked perfectly, almost like a confit, and the fresh vegetables complemented it perfectly. Fair prices and a good portion size, definitely worth trying!

24/08/2026: At Bánh Mì Bandits, I finally got to try the famous Vietnamese sandwich for the first time in my life. I'd had the chance to try it at various food festivals before, but somehow it never quite happened. Here at Aarhus Street Food, it really appealed to me. I opted for the Bánh Mì with lemongrass-marinated chicken, sesame mayo, ginger cream, cucumber, Đồ Chua (a type of Vietnamese soy sauce), and soy sauce. I also added fresh avocado. I appreciate that you can choose which ingredients to leave out. I skipped the coriander and chili because I wasn't in the mood for them and could easily do without them. Despite all the special toppings, the sandwich was missing one very basic and essential ingredient: Salt. The many aromatic spice notes, the acidity, and the different textures were certainly interesting in their interplay, but I simply missed a fundamental, grounding saltiness that would not only have rounded out the dish but, for me, would have been essential for a truly great taste experience. So it was okay, but unfortunately not a highlight. And with my already far too full stomach, I probably shouldn't have chosen it in the end and should have left room for something else.

22/09/2026: Really solid shawarma with crispy, juicy inside. Workers are kind guys with whom you can have pleasant conversation. There are some seats inside and the restaurant located near station which is great.

13/09/2026: Not even a child can get enough of the amount of meat they've started eating. At 89 kr, you expect to get more.

15/04/2026: Really liked the Food and the ambience. Also the service was nice and friendly. For me as a foreigner it seemed like authentic danish food, would go there definitely if I visit again.

19/09/2026: The pizza dough is very good and tasty. I ordered margarita pizza….the basic pizza if you could do this at a very good level the rest is at least as good as the margarita. They also have one of the best tiramisus I ever had and also nice fuzzy drinks as well. They also selling pizza doughs if you want to do the pizza yourself at home. My suggestion is to make the tiramisu a bit bigger and add aioli dip to the menu. I really recommend this place. Thank you for the pizzas 👌

14/08/2026: As a Greek I will say that Giannis and the team are doing great job and they manage to have a traditional Greek suvlaki at the best quality !! Is mandatory to try it !!!

02/10/2026: Not a great experience. Booked a table for Sunday Roast with 2 hours of ad libitum and after getting our drinks we sat and waited 30 minutes for our food. Not great but not unreasonable either. What is unreasonable was that our food was not hot but lukewarm and when we needed a refill it took another 25-30 minutes to get 5-6 thin lukewarm slices of meat. If it's going to be ad libitum then do it right and give bigger portions and faster service. If you can only get 3 portions in 2 hours then there's not much ad libitum about it.

02/10/2026: A little pricey, but the atmosphere is truly unique. The menu is extensive, and there are several options for vegetarians, too.

14/05/2026: Steak at Kylling Express now?! Probably the best I've had in a long time🙌🏼 Everything from the mushroom sauce to the steak, the vegetables, everything was perfect 👌🏼 That plate for a paltry 250! It's all down here, I'll definitely be back without a doubt 10/10🤩

05/06/2026: ​I tried two different sandwiches – one with ham and mozzarella and another with chicken and bacon. When the ham sandwich was toasted, it completely changed its taste, while the chicken in the other sandwich was clearly not fresh, but frozen and tasteless. In the end, you could basically only taste mayonnaise. Given the good reviews from other customers, I expected something much better.

14/09/2026: The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Besides the usual grilled dishes, they also offered typical lunch specials and a large ice cream counter.

05/09/2026: Pleasant place with great prices and large portions 😍 definitely a place I will come back to. The food is absolutely excellent, had pork roast (a little dry) with good gravy and lots of potatoes. Delicious ice cream and was very full 😁

04/08/2026: Quite a nice place with polite service. Tuesday's steak tasted really good. Especially the celery puree was soft and tasty. Unfortunately the dessert was not of the same quality.

19/07/2026: A real restaurant, with white tablecloths, a great atmosphere, and delicious food.

01/09/2026: Very cozy, intimate little place. Large selection of wine, also some good beers to choose from and some snacks to drink can also be purchased.

28/06/2026: Cozy place with lots of little nooks and crannies. Not a huge number of wines by the glass, but something that will appeal to most people.
