27/06/2025: Arrived at the House of Commons at 1:10 PM and ordered our food from the friendly and professional waiter at exactly 1:15 PM. The food was served at our table at exactly 1:40 PM. We both ordered their signature dish, namely fish & chips consisting of haddock fillet fried in beer batter, served with pea puree, tartar sauce, French fries and parsley fries. The food is served on warm plates and the food looks very inviting at first glance. The fish is really delicious and nicely crispy, it is flavorful and is so perfect that it falls apart. The tartar sauce is superb, it is flavorful and has a nice balance, you want to just slurp it. The pea puree was an exciting acquaintance, neither of us were particularly fond of it, we thought it tasted very much of mint. There was something they call parsley fries, it is the tips of parsley that have just been fried, nothing to write home about. The fries were downright tacky, they were soft and dripping with frying fat. The price for such a portion is DKK 235.- which is just a bit steep, but the fish and tartare were superb. Stars should be seen in relation to the price.

13/06/2025: Disappointing Pariserbøf Despite Proper Cooking We visited the restaurant and ordered two Pariserbøf, one well done and the other medium. We were happy that both steaks were cooked exactly as requested – a plus for the kitchen. Unfortunately, it was the most boring Pariserbøf we have ever tasted. Even though we added plenty of salt and pepper, it failed to give the dish any depth or flavor. It resulted in a very boring dining experience. We hope that the restaurant will look into the possibility of improving their Pariserbøf..

19/06/2025: What a depressing experience. Whilst the food was OK, the service was non-existent. The owner was grumpy and rude enough to give Parisien waiters a good name. The food took ages to arrive. Yes, it was busy, but it just took too long. We abandoned having a desert on the three course Oli menu. Would I go back...mais non.

28/05/2025: Unfortunately, the fries are way too crispy—almost charcoal. And extremely overpriced... a few meters away, you can get fish and chips for 30% off.

09/06/2025: Perfect place for a short stay in Herning, near to Herning centret, and Bilka. Minimalistic design and furniture, lots of parking spaces.

19/06/2025: It was nice place for those who love rock songs. Also, you will meet a lot of friendly people around there. They can give you a full vibe for your song like sing along, turning light off for song vibe.

11/06/2025: For a metal bar there is a lot of fun punk rock in the playlist. But the beer and bartenders are very good. Nice people, nice vibe. With a better playlist, best bar!

31/05/2025: Super good food. Served quickly. But there weren't many guests either. It's a bit of a shame that the atmosphere is ruined by the loud constant compressor noise from the kitchen... it would be a good idea to have it stopped or greatly reduced! But I'll probably come back here anyway.
