10/12/2025: Must do in Aarhus. Monday to Thursday at 8pm there is Standup at Alberts. We had a nice evening. Our 12 year old boy had a party 😂. There wasn't a full house this Monday, but that didn't matter anyway. See my profile for more tips about Aarhus or other places

30/03/2026: Our stay was simply terrible and cannot be recommended to others in any way. When we checked out we were promised that we would be contacted regarding our stay. This has not happened, and Pejsegården does not respond to my inquiries. We are staying at Hotel Pejsegården from Sunday to Monday, which includes a 3-course menu, breakfast buffet, one hour of bowling and free access to the indoor pool. When we arrive, there is a nice receptionist who welcomes us and checks us in. We can just wait to decide on a time for bowling - we just had to grab a waiter when we wanted to bowl, and then we would be shown to the bowling alley. The hotel is very worn, which makes it look dirty - even where there is no dust or cobwebs. After we have been in the room for a while, we go to the restaurant to have some lunch. It is difficult to get hold of a waiter or other staff who can help us with a table, menu and drinks. After waiting in the otherwise empty restaurant for a while, an employee finally arrives and shows us and a group of other guests to a table. We order a shrimp dish and a pan-fried fish fillet. The fillets look more like something that has been deep-fried. They are so bland and tasteless that I don’t eat much of them. I am offered new ones, but I decline. The fish fillet is deducted from the bill, which was nice. It must be said that the other group of guests also sends the fish fillet back to the kitchen. When we later return to get a cold refreshment at the bar, there are again no employees to be seen anywhere. After walking back and forth looking for an employee, we suddenly discover that there is a bell in the reception. We ring the bell. It takes a long time before the waiter from lunch comes. Now she is a waiter, receptionist, cleaner and bartender. She says that they have to be short-staffed, as they don't make any money when there are no more guests. This is a bit unprofessional to say to guests who have spent a long time waiting to be served... We end up going straight from the bar to the restaurant, as there are some problems with us having to bowl before a certain time, as some of the employees are not allowed to be there after a certain time...? As I said, we have a 3-course meal included in the stay, where the chef decides the menu. The starter was fish, which we changed to something else at our request. The starter (soup) came quite quickly and was excellent. Then the main course came. One plate came with hair in the food (which was sent back to the kitchen), and the food on the other plate was cold. They bring a new serving, which is unfortunately also cold. When we want to point this out, we can't get in touch with the waiter, and after a 15 minute wait we end up leaving without complaining about the food (again). We don't get dessert, as we've given up on getting anything decent to eat, and we end up eating at the town's pizzeria. There were four of us for dinner, and two main courses were sent back to the kitchen of one of the other parties. They didn't get their food again until the rest of the table had finished eating. It was simply a terrible and unprofessional experience in every way.

13/09/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at Hotel Medi! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was top-notch. Everything was well taken care of, and I felt truly welcomed throughout my stay. Highly recommended

18/08/2025: I ordered a "BigBoi burger" with 2x 140g beef patties, but got a large burger with four dry 70g patties instead. The lettuce was just a single thin leaf that looked strangely dark, and the bread was dry. The food was delivered from a small food truck, where the staff stood around burping, and gloves were not changed between cash payment and cooking. All in all a disappointing experience - definitely not something I would recommend.

29/09/2025: Was here with my colleagues and had a lovely dinner, the service was fresh and good, the place is nicely and cozy decorated and everyone is both welcoming and smiling, would love to come again

27/08/2025: Just drove home from the hotel and am very disappointed. Had booked a weekend stay with breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant the menu was according to the chef's choice Friday I cleared with the chef that the stay included both parts both days. First we experience a very inexperienced waiter who did not know which stay we were at. The two we spoke to kept mentioning something about Risskov and there was no table reserved and the food was not included in our stay either? We tried to tell them that we had coordinated Friday with the chef and they kept whining about Risskov doing such and such. We end up finding another place to eat and since the breakfast was not what you think it was something special. We agreed to drive home early. The apartment was ok. But worn out and several sockets did not work. We will not be back. Feel a bit like we were taken by the nose. Update! Have received a response from the hotel on trust pilot. We did NOT get free drinks either day. We declined the drinks we ordered because we wanted to find somewhere else to eat before we went home. However, they should probably rephrase their confirmation so that misunderstandings can be avoided. Several people have seen ours and agreed with us that it looks complicated.

25/08/2025: Truly the best tacos and burritos we've ever eaten! A huge compliment to the chef and a definite recommendation for everyone else.

08/08/2025: On recomendation from the staff i have ordered taco mix and they were THE best tacos of my life.

04/02/2026: I usually order from here but this will probably be the last time. The pizzas are usually good but the last few times the quality has dropped a lot. I add sausage to my pizza and it comes with shrimp. The pizza is also raw in the crust, the onions are raw and my pizza is soggy. Sad.

30/11/2025: Best pizzeria in the south city/Vorup/Kristrup/Paderup. Delivery to the door almost on time. Good tasty pizzas. We have also tried other pizzerias for 18 years, but Lille Alanya is the best in the south city 😀👍
