12/02/2025: Ev. We had hoped for a pleasant evening, and we also enjoyed each other's company. But the food was dry, boring and bland. The sushi pieces were okay, but in a buffet you don't want to eat only sushi. The rest of the buffet seemed like yesterday's dishes, just reheated. Things from the fryer were very dry, almost hard. The "strong" soup was incredibly sweet, and didn't have so much as pepper to spice it up. Beauvais ketchup is much stronger than the soup. The best was the Mongolian BBQ so it really pulled the other one up. Incredibly disappointed with quality versus price. Don't mind paying a price that both goes to food, rent, electricity and other expenses, but at least expects other food to be taken care of than just sushi, which however tasted super nice. But one thing that really drags me down is the poor fish in the big EMPTY tubs of water. We sat by a fish that was so depressed. No plants, no friends, nothing it could be a fish about. It kept swimming into the wall and nibbling bits off the filter. It is so close to animal cruelty that we wanted to steal the fish home. The restaurant should be ashamed, and give them to someone who would actually be interested in looking after those fish, because that was a real shame. Also don't expect staff to keep an eye on you, they're too busy with their phone with Snapchat, loud TikTok and noisy conversations while walking among guests. Incredibly unprofessional, but we received a nice and pleasant welcome. No need to come here again, it wasn't worth the money and especially the time, unfortunately.

03/03/2025: Tilst bakery has improved a lot after they got new owners and it was remodeled 👍 I love their stone age rye bread and have been fully satisfied with other things I've bought there 👍

20/01/2025: Hm, selv om vi havde glædet os, blev det en aften, som vi hellere ville have tilbragt på en anden restaurant. Kommunikationen fungerede bestemt ikke, og maden var altså ikke prisen værd.

13/04/2025: To Fox and Hounds Herning, We write to you with a deep sense of anger and disappointment at the treatment we have received at your bar. It is simply unacceptable and appalling how we have been met by your staff and we can no longer accept the way we have been treated. It is deeply disappointing and disrespectful that after putting so much money with you over the years, we are treated this way. As former employees of a hotel in the city, we have always recommended our guests to visit the Fox and Hounds rather than the hotel's own bar. We have always spoken well of you and given positive recommendations, but after our recent experiences it is over. We've had enough. Our first negative experience concerned the wardrobe employee Camilla, who time and time again has displayed an unpleasant and disrespectful attitude. She speaks condescendingly to guests and in several situations has acted downright unprofessional. On a previous occasion, as usual, we were allowed to hang both blazer and jacket on the same number. But when we went to pick up our clothes, we were met by Camilla, who in a sharp and condescending tone claimed that this was not allowed. We calmly tried to explain that it had never been a problem before and that the cloakroom employee on arrival saw no problem in it either. But Camilla chose to raise her voice and talk us down, which was both unpleasant and unreasonable. We chose to leave the situation so as not to escalate further. On the way out we met the doorman who wondered why we left so early. After we had explained the situation, he also expressed his surprise at Camilla's behaviour. However, the problems did not stop there. After a city trip, we forgot a brown blazer, and when we had the jacket number, we contacted the bartender Jesper on a weekday. He looked for the jacket without success and suggested we come back at the weekend when the cloakroom was open. We felt thrown around and lacked a clear message about how things are handled. When we returned for a weekend a few weeks later, we again met Camilla, who immediately began to act up and became very uncomfortable. She claimed to have looked for the jacket earlier and asked us to come back on a weekday – the exact opposite of what Jesper had said. We tried to explain, but she kept pouring us out, which was deeply uncomfortable and completely unacceptable. The situation escalated further when, on our way out to pick up our jackets, we were shown a wrong jacket number. Camilla immediately seized on this and used it as an opportunity for another confrontation. She scolded us and claimed that we had been there for the last three weekends looking for the jacket - which was not true. We are shocked to be addressed like that! As if this wasn't enough, during a birthday celebration at the bar we were also subjected to unfair accusations from a bartender when a phone went missing while charging. We were suddenly accused of accusing the bartender of theft, which was in no way the case. We simply wanted to find out where the phone had gone, but were met with unreasonable resistance and unpleasant comments. The blazer is still missing, and since your staff did not handle the matter properly, we are demanding compensation. It should also be mentioned that Victor got our information and promised to look for the jacket. Unfortunately, time has probably passed, and since forgotten cases are thrown away for recycling after three months, we risk that the jacket is gone, precisely because the staff did not handle the case correctly from the start. We therefore expect you to take responsibility for this error. If the blazer is not replaced, we will be forced to involve legal help. We would also like to personally apologize for the treatment we have received, as it is a prerequisite for us to ever come back to Fox and Hounds and speak positively of the place again. We hope you will take our complaint seriously and come back with a solution. We expect a response as soon as possible. Kind regards Emma Olsen

16/03/2025: They kick out a friend for literally nothing. We still don't have an explanation. They did not want to discuss anything. The whole grup had to leave the place because they "didn't like" one of us.
