03/09/2025: Sherlock Holmes is a really cozy and atmospheric pub. If you come outside rush hour, there is plenty of space. The bar is good and has a good and wide selection of beers. Not quite up to snuff with the best specialty beers, but very good. The service is good and they can give recommendations for their beers. I don't think they have food. There is often sports on screens and a big screen, so if you are into that, there is a good atmosphere in the place. The style of the furniture is nice English style. But ok - some of the chairs have really seen better days and should definitely be replaced (!). Sherlock Holmes is a cozy, centrally located place and absolutely ideal if you want to meet colleagues for a Friday beer, or if you want to start somewhere before a larger city tour. Can definitely be recommended 👍

05/10/2025: Very disappointing experience! While the staff were generally polite, the overall dining experience was poor. Our starter and main course were served at the same time, and the fried food was overcooked. Service was slow and inattentive — we had to call for attention several times. To make matters worse, the espresso was very bad, and when it came time to pay, they refused to split the bill between two cards. We were told to “just use MobilePay,” which isn’t an option for visitors who don’t live in Denmark. When we explained this, the response was essentially that it was our problem, not theirs. Please stay away from this place — the food, service, and attitude simply aren’t worth the hassle.

05/09/2025: The food is good, but they don't have control over their orders. They spend a lot of time trying to figure out which orders are where and where they are going. Everyone is super nice, but it would be great not to have to sit around waiting for 30 minutes unnecessarily for the food you ordered. I've ordered here 4 times now in about 2 months. And even though I've ordered online, where they have had the opportunity to decide the pick-up time, I've had to sit around for up to 30 minutes 3 of the times. Nice people, good bathroom. Just super sad that they are so often delayed.

01/09/2025: It is always a pleasure to come to Mathiesen! The atmosphere is good and relaxed, where you feel comfortable and know that you will be taken care of in the best way. The service is really good and the waiters are alert and ready to quickly jump in if there is something or if you are missing something. There is a good dialogue and an honest story about the food and what to pay attention to. There is no overselling and you can feel that they want a good experience for their guests, rather than pressuring people into something. They have a distinguished selection of drinks and their food is extremely satisfying. It is especially wonderful to see that fresh hand-peeled shrimp are served, which shows that quality is prioritized, which is also reflected in their food. Their sandwiches with cheese are really good and the size is not to be complained about at all. Their evening menu is also really good and the composition is well considered. See you again soon. 😊

17/09/2025: I ate the best steak ever there...more tender than tender...the potato slices were amazing...the appetizer was nachos topped with cheese...simply delicious...

13/05/2025: Great place. They make really good pizza 😍, you can tell they use good ingredients. I love their homemade dressing, it's so good 🤤. They always arrive at the agreed time, if not earlier. We've had to wait 5 minutes longer once. They always arrive with a smile. We order from them regularly, even though they're a bit expensive for delivery. But as long as the service and food are top notch, we're happy to pay the extra.

26/08/2025: Apparently you can spend the night here. There is space for 4-5 cars.

17/06/2025: Loading fast. The office is on the left side of the first ramp. You can ask to use the toilet inside the warehouse. The “rema 1000” store is 3.5 km away, there are horizontal bars along the way.

03/08/2025: Second time coming in this hotel and it was even better than the first. They care about their client and really try to make our stay as perfect as possible. I couldn't hear a single noise (except the church but that was a blessing to my ears) and at night the room was perfectly dark. They are all very helping, smiling and nice. The breakfast is very good. Not too much. Just enough to enjoy a bit of everything. It's very clean. Near everything. Rooms are great with everything one can ask for. They can even provide toothpaste and toothbrush if your luggage got lost.... THANKS. The + : the free coffee MACHINE, the extremely fast lifts and the bikes

12/05/2025: Always booking this hotel in Herning. Convenient location, good parking facilities, easy access from the main roads, close distance to restaurants and city centre. Business rooms are well equipped with B&O TVs. The hotel restaurant offers a menu of high quality fancy meals.

09/10/2025: I really loved the place! It’s really cozy, it’s delicious, and the staff is friendly. My waffles here were perfectly baked: crispy in the outside and soft on one inside — yum! Sitting there with a cup of hot chocolate was such a joy 😊
