25/07/2025: Hello Circle K customer service :). I am writing because I recently had an experience at one of your gas stations that I find difficult to let go of. I hope you will take the time to read this, as it is about more than just a single customer service situation. Time and place: Thursday, July 24th. Approximately 11:00 PM. What happened: There was a Ukrainian(?) family in front of me in the queue, a father, a mother and their teenage daughter. They did not speak Danish and did not have enough money on their cards to pay for their items. When it became clear, I offered to pay for them. But your employee said “no, you should not stand and waste other people's time!!” and she cancelled their order instead. In the meantime, the family stood at the checkout and, as it turned out, could not understand why they were being ignored. The father asked the cashier if it was his turn by pointing at himself and was met with the sentence: “No, because your card is rejected!”. Only after all the other customers had paid and were allowed to take their place in the queue, the family was allowed to put some of their goods back and complete the purchase. When I got home in front of my fan and was cooling down, I actually started to feel guilty about not pushing your employee harder, but I just have to learn from that, because it’s too late now... I understand that there may be internal guidelines about payment, security or fraud. But the way it was handled, both the tone, the unwillingness to let us help and the public humiliation, was completely unnecessary and unsympathetic to witness. I am sincerely concerned about the signal this sends, both to customers who want to help and to people who are already in a vulnerable situation. I hope you will take this incident seriously and use it as an opportunity to: - Review your policy regarding payments on behalf of others. - Talk to your staff about how to speak to customers, especially those who do not understand the language or are in a difficult situation. - Consider how your company can make room for humanity in practice. 24/06/2025: Circle K is a really nice place to stop for a quick bite. The store is clean and uncluttered, and there is a good selection of snacks, drinks, and freshly brewed coffee. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Nothing fancy, but solid and reliable – just what you need on a road trip.

29/06/2025: We wanted something to eat this afternoon. After a while, we were served. The staff acted as if they didn't understand us. Then they laughed at us because we don't speak Danish very well yet. There was a ton of pesto on my sandwich. While we were eating, the staff continued to watch us and laugh at us. It was all very unprofessional. By the way, my husband is blind. I don't want to say anything more about this service...

29/06/2025: 2 drinks and 2 muffins eaten. Food and drinks tasted good. Drinks were reasonably priced. Large portion though.

05/07/2025: I used to enjoy my trips here on business and to stay here … the bells ringing in the night were a bit annoying tho … do they still ring thru the night 🤷‍♂️

26/06/2025: Centrally located so almost everything is within walking distance. The breakfast buffet is good,

07/02/2025: We were three people for dinner on a Saturday night. After having tried Øgaden's take away tapas several times, as recent movers we had to test their evening menu. The atmosphere was good. Nice mix of guests. We went with a standard Set menu. Four courses and a wonderful appetizer as an introduction. The three courses before the dessert all had fish as the primary protein. Scallop, tuna and hake. The dessert consisted of a sorbet, ice cream and fromage on a siphon. All three main courses were accompanied by fluffy bread with a trio of butter and tapanade. All dishes were delicious. Preparation with respect for the raw materials. Serving was pure eye candy. Unpretentious service and presentation of wine and food. At no time did we need to call the attention of the staff. At the same time, it was never too much either. Tuning is an art. We will come again.

02/08/2025: Very pleasent place for sitting out or inside. Great food. Not the cheapest, but worth it. Good coffee too.

23/07/2025: Ok room for the price. Gave 857 kr. With breakfast. Really cozy hotel and fantastic staff. Felt really welcome. Have stayed in a lot of hotels. With this staff beat everything. Really nice staff.

21/07/2025: Older worn hotel, there were small things that could easily make the impression better, for example flowers in front of the main entrance that were wilted and lanterns on the terrace that were broken. Easy to see it's a budget hotel - that said, it's clean and the staff are REALLY nice and service at its best. For the price, a really nice place.

You forgot to give us part of the order... 🤦‍♀️ We've tried that a few times now and it obviously hasn't gotten any better 🤡 You might ask us why we keep buying food from here? Well, it's because it's been going on for years and because we rarely buy fast food, we thought it might have gotten better.. 😅 We've tried burgers without salad and dressing, missing accessories, missing side orders, missing fries, which was also the case this time.. And the new Italiano burger is not recommended. It's both dry and tastes inconsistent.. In addition, we were greeted by employees who were clearly tired of life... 💔 I wonder if Sunset Boulevard in Tilst could pick itself up a bit 🤞🌸

18/03/2025: The surroundings are good, the atmosphere is nice and it is a nice place. But the food is boring. Considering the price of the experience, the buffet is far too narrow and monotonous. Not that it should be compared to traditional buffets - But at Bryggeriet, the buffet is just "boring". Conversely, the concept is good and good wines are served. But since it's the food you come for, it's an unfortunate experience. But why is it so narrow and monotonous? Yes, it is narrow because the selection of dishes. For example, potatoes and meat are served without any sauce. Two salads are served (A simple one consisting of heart salad, pomegranate and cranberry - Tastes fine, but is primarily just salad. No dressing is offered for this) in addition (A red scallion salad, which mostly tastes of cheese / heavy cream - Not very appetizing). In addition, the buffet primarily consists of crisp bread, pesto, onions, olives and other small items. The meat tastes good, but seems very similar. Here the duck was quite dry - the pig and the chicken tasted unremarkable. But at that price point and with the understanding you have of the concept, either beef, veal or lamb should also be served here. So all in all - So the framework is there. They just need to be filled in as expected. Ice cream and dessert were delicious - Some carved fruits (e.g. Melon) would be able to elevate the dessert even more. Will we come again? Hardly with the current buffet, given the price. But should the selection be improved / reassessed, we will gladly try it again.

13/03/2025: Fantastic place with the most wonderful atmosphere and fantastic staff. The whole concept of the food and drinks is superb and the quality is top notch. Their home-brewed beer and ale are super quality and delicious. The place can only be highly recommended.👍
