18/03/2025: Located directly opposite the square. Some rooms have a view towards the lake (and parking), others towards the square, where there is often a market at the weekend. Ok rooms, but not particularly modern. Breakfast in the basement, overlooking the car park. Reception closed in the evening. Dining can take place at the restaurant next door.

04/02/2025: We have just had a fantastic experience at Hotel Skjern and the associated Restaurant Stue th, and we can only give our warmest recommendations! From the moment we arrived, we were met with unparalleled hospitality and first class service. Eva, who took care of us throughout our stay, was nothing short of a star! She took care of everything, from our check-in to ordering flowers and booking a table in the delicious restaurant. During the dinner, she provided a service that was both professional, attentive and cordial. Her commitment and eye for detail really made a difference and we felt so welcome and valued. The food in Restaurant Stue th was an experience in itself, tasty, beautifully presented and made from the best ingredients. (We wish we could share pictures here so you could see how delicious it looked!) The combination of the cozy atmosphere, the good wine and the phenomenal service made the evening absolutely perfect. The hotel's location is also top notch, central in Skjern, but still with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect base for our stay. We are so satisfied and very grateful for the service we have received, and especially for Eva's skill, attention and hospitality. She really was the icon of service in Skjern! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for an unforgettable experience!

31/12/2024: Unfortunately there was no breakfast, even though there was an upgrade with a kitchen in the room. It's strange without reception. Great location and rooms very clean.

17/01/2025: Great food and nice staff. Especially the tacos are recommendable. And treat yourself with a churrosdonut for dessert. The only minor downside is that their salsa for their nachos is too thin.

19/03/2025: Nice fast food restaurant with (according to expectations) OK/good food. Location, however, a bit unattractive with location close to major traffic lights. But the restaurant - and not least the staff/service - absolutely nothing wrong!

04/02/2025: Probably the best meal you can dust off in this West Jutland city. We got smørrebrød and they were well made and tasty. The staff were attentive during service and seemed to take their profession very seriously. Worth a visit

02/12/2024: I recently had a baby shower at the hotel. It has been really good all the way through. They have been good for all planning. The service during the christening was really good and really good staff. There wasn't a finger to put on it.
