11/05/2025: Mega expensive, gave DKK 76. for 2 small coffees. All their prices are mega expensive simply because there is none nearby.

11/10/2025: The grill bar is located right by the lock. The staff is friendly. The burgers were okay. I had one with bacon and was looking forward to a crispy piece of bacon. Unfortunately, there were only cold pieces of ham sprinkled on the burger. The fries were okay.

26/08/2025: A lovely cup of coffee, tasty chai latte and really fresh and juicy pastries (albeit bakeoff), but I have had significantly more boring and dry croissants & cinnamon rolls from bakeries in Aarhus. I will happily come back! Vestergade is a super cozy street, and Bills coffee is a phenomenal place to sit and enjoy a coffee with a sweet treat Even more positive for me is that I get to have my four-legged friend with me 🐶

18/01/2026: Super negative 'girl' that you get served by in Højbjerg, but it's only one who is negative, very indifferent attitude, and shouldn't really work in the service profession, when she is so negative, it's very normal custom, to give customers a smile or just talk to them as if they were the paying guests. This is a blonde girl who, when I'm there, constantly seems arrogant, negative, and not in the mood to work in a place where service is such a big part of the workday. Hope she gets told by an employer that this is not how you meet guests.

24/01/2026: A truly fantastic experience at Café Noa in Brande. Everything was just perfect – I had ribeye with bearnaise, and it was right in the cupboard. My companion had a really good Neapolitan pizza. Good service and really reasonable prices. Cozy atmosphere and a place I can highly recommend.

14/01/2026: Ordered Ribeye with Whiskey sauce. Got a lump of meat filled with tendons and other things that couldn't even be chewed.. The sauce was extremely fatty. The few vegetables on the plate were burnt and tasted burnt too. Potatoes weren't anything to shout hooray for either.

11/09/2025: Great location and surprisingly good and nice restaurant. There is also a nice ice cream shop.

16/12/2025: Ordered a wrap with fries twice as a menu. Got the food after about 15 minutes. The fries were good, hot and with a good spicy taste. On the other hand, the wraps were not very good. The meat was cold in both wraps. Asked if the meat was supposed to be cold and it wasn't. But the clerk couldn't take it back because we had taken a bite of the food. We could then get a small cup of meat that was heated up. And then we had to make do with the bread we had been given with the cold meat (which we had to try to peel out without ruining the rest of the bread). Not a very good experience when you pay almost 250,- for such menus.

11/12/2025: I’ve had malawach plenty of times, but never as a wrap like this. It works so well. The dough stays warm and flaky, and the fillings sit right in that sweet spot between comforting and fresh. The sauces really bring it together. The zaatar fries were the surprise highlight. Crisp, salty, and packed with flavor. Dipping them in hummus felt a little wrong at first, then instantly right. I’d come back just for that combo. Such a fun take on a dish I thought I already knew. Tasty across the board.

01/12/2025: Really nice place. 250kr for 3 unspecified sandwiches. However, we were not given any presentation of which ones when they were served. It was a bit strange not knowing what we were getting. Beautiful surroundings and clean toilets. The food was good.

28/08/2025: A super nice place with excellent food and service. Rustic and very tasty. Honest food where thought was put into the food and wine. Some of the best we've had in a long time. A place that's a little hard to find (in a backyard) but definitely worth the visit. We'll definitely be back?

16/09/2025: The pizzas were a dream! I've rarely eaten such a delicious pizza. The bases were perfectly baked and the toppings were very generous. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. One small drawback: in Denmark, which is very cashless, cashless payment is unfortunately only possible via MobilePay, which is not available to foreign tourists. However, since the customers are certainly predominantly Danish, this is perfectly acceptable to us and won't deduct any points for it. So, to the non-Danish tourists: don't forget your cash! 😉 We don't understand why this pizzeria only has 3.8 stars here. It definitely deserves a 5 out of 5.
