15/12/2025: I looked inside and saw all these old people with very nice smiles on their faces and in very beautiful clothes. I directly entered because I know that they are experienced enough to choose the best food. :) It was a very correct choise, I loved the food. They also serve very fastly. Tasty food, nice atmosphere, nice people. I highly recommend Restaurant 1733. Go and try!

10/12/2025: We were 3 friends who have been having Christmas lunch together for almost 30 years...This year once at 1733..We had the big meal...very different than the other places but we had a good time for about 4 hours..super service and the desired table by the window...we are looking forward to the next time..John Salon Ydun

16/04/2026: The food is super delicious and good quality. The manager, Mario, is a really nice guy! We also tried ordering the food via Wolt, and it was prepared very quick, and stayed soo hot that we even had to wait for it to cool down:) Extra points that the portion of the pasta is enormous!

15/04/2026: I'm very satisfied! The pizzeria is also very child-friendly. We are deaf and ordered the wrong thing because we couldn't communicate properly. Despite this, the staff were immediately friendly and understanding and made us a new dish without any problems. You can tell they know how to treat deaf people respectfully. I've never experienced such warm and helpful staff in my entire life – unfortunately, you're often not treated well, but here it was the complete opposite. For me, this is the best staff I've ever encountered in a pizzeria. The food was delicious, like real Italian food. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for Denmark. This pizzeria deserves more than 5 stars! I was happy to leave a tip. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular customer.

14/04/2026: The food tastes fantastic, especially their meat. However, they are greatly let down by their service. The food is slow to come and they never have enough staff in relation to how many people come. They have their stone grill concept but unfortunately it has to be done inside. When I was there the smoke extraction didn't work, so the smoke was so thick you could cut through it. We opened some windows but there was still a lot of smoke and then it just got cold. The atmosphere is nice enough but is let down by the smoke. There is a lot of loud talking inside the restaurant so something that lowered the sound level would fit in well. And the food can cost anything from under 100 to over 400. They have very expensive things but also very cheap things. All in all I can recommend it but come in the summer when you have the opportunity to sit outside.

18/10/2025: After another beautiful day in the Danish sun, we decided to visit the small town of Ringkøbing and enjoy a five-course meal at the "Nordic" restaurant. The "Nordic" is centrally located on the market square, features stylish, minimalist decor (brick walls, lots of gray, black, and white), and bills itself as a fine-dining restaurant without a star, but with a Michelin mention. The service: exclusively tall, blonde Danish women – charming, friendly, but a bit "shirtsleeves" in the details – the table wasn't wiped despite spills, new cutlery sets were unclear, and drinks were rarely requested. Not a big deal – but worth mentioning in a fine-dining context. The cuisine follows three mottos: seasonal ingredients, hospitality, and matching drinks. The latter was interpreted rather loosely ("Fanta also somehow goes well with the food"), but nonetheless: the house-brewed beer was a hit – fresh, well-rounded, and very drinkable. We skipped the wine menu (price issue), but both opted for the five-course menu for €80, which is a real bargain for Denmark. And the food? Simply put: surprisingly delicious, honest, well-thought-out, no gimmicks, just perfectly cooked dishes with bold flavors. Course 1: A soup of "Ingrid's peas" with mussels, chives, and a piece of haddock cooked in lardo – wonderfully aromatic, well-rounded, and a great start. The whole thing was topped off with incredibly delicious, freshly baked bread with salted butter – I could have eaten nothing but that all evening. Course 2: Mackerel in a buttermilk sauce with parsley oil and roasted hazelnuts – meaty, slightly tart, with a lovely texture. The advertised horseradish, however, was nowhere to be found. Course 3: A magnificent scallop with smoked butter sauce, sweet and sour pickled pumpkin, and deep-fried kale – bold flavors, skillfully combined. Main Course (Variation 1): Beef tenderloin, cooked perfectly medium, with a crispy croquette, parsley puree, trumpet mushrooms, and Madeira sauce – classic, good, perhaps a little more bite in the croquette would have been desirable. Main Course (Variation 2): Pan-fried fish with squid and a white sauce – also excellent, especially the squid: crispy on the outside, tender and salty on the inside. Dessert: Quince, apple, ginger, and "Ivory" – a fine white chocolate in the shape of a sorbet-like ball, accompanied by another ball of quince, all in a sweet and sour apple cider sauce. Sounds good, and was delicious, but I felt it was missing something: perhaps more depth of chocolate, a bit of crunch, a fresh lemon note, or just a touch of cream. We concluded the evening with a good cappuccino in a beautiful cup and the realization: This meal was harmonious all around, flavorful, and delightfully filling – something you don't always experience in fine dining. The cuisine could be bolder in some places, dare to use a bit more contrast, add a spiciness or playfulness – but honestly: I already love this place. A must-visit on any trip to Denmark.

07/12/2025: Nano Sushi in Søborg is without a doubt one of those places where you are reminded why you love sushi. As soon as you walk in, you feel the good atmosphere, the staff is smiling, welcoming and makes you feel welcome from the first moment. The sushi is fresh and almost melts in your mouth, they also have a fairly wide range from sushi to chicken starters and various dumplings.

09/12/2025: Delicious food, nice staff who did NOT clear the plates until everyone was finished. I find it incredibly stressful when the waiters clear other people's plates before everyone is finished. We go to Ionian before that reason. So nice that the waiters gave us peace. Cozy place.

05/01/2026: Charlie's bar is a really cozy little hole in the wall. It's wonderfully centrally located in Copenhagen but still manages to provide a really good, authentic atmosphere - with lots of great beers 🍻

19/12/2025: Lovely restaurant always good food, wine and service

12/12/2025: The place is anonymous from the outside, but when you step inside it is super cozy, and almost like eating in a wine shop in the good and cozy way. The food is excellent, no fancy food here, it is rustic and tasty like mama would make it. The menu changes from day to day, so there is no excuse not to come back again and again. The waiters are Italian and we had an excellent chemistry with them, and we ended up sitting and enjoying ourselves for 4 hours, also because when you order their wine menu, they leave the bottles on the table, so you can take more yourself, without extra charge.. and since we have previously worked in the restaurant industry and love to talk wine, they brought new/extra bottles for us to taste, again without extra charge. This is one of Copenhagen's best Italian restaurants and you get extremely high quality, taste and coziness for the money. See you again!
