24/04/2026: Good but expensive during holiday periods

05/04/2026: Our go-to supermarket on holiday. It's a good size and we've always been treated kindly whenever we've had a question. I only speak a little Danish, but I've always found the staff very patient here. The prices are typical Danish prices for a holiday region; but as a German, that's nothing to be surprised by anymore. Whenever we're in the area, we shop here.

24/06/2026: Has been one of our favorite kebab places, but was unfortunately disappointed when we ordered a durum with kebab and a kebab box. The meat and spice mix had been replaced with "ready-made" and the kebab box looked smaller than usual, but the same good service

29/06/2026: The location is quiet... a bit away from the hustle and bustle... Delicious cakes, good coffee, friendly service, lovely atmosphere with South American lounge music. The terrace deck could be a bit more stylishly designed... those half-withered conifers don't fit the overall style at all 😉 But still: It's worth a visit!

22/06/2026: The smørrebrød was of excellent quality and very delicious. The coffee was good and is probably among the closest options to barista-style coffee in North Jutland. Service was acceptable, though not particularly warm or welcoming. The middle-aged staff member appeared somewhat stressed or irritated during our visit, and placing a simple coffee order felt more like a lesson than a straightforward transaction. On the other hand, the younger staff member was very friendly and professional. It was also quite clear that dogs are not welcome (inside).

30/06/2026: A simple place to eat. A wide selection of common dishes within the fast food category. Ordered a pizza no. 7 and thought it was very dry, the staff said that they had been busy and that the dough had not been given the necessary rising time (it should have risen for a day before cooking). Toilets for both men and women as well as disabled people are available and are well maintained and clean.

28/06/2026: Yesterday I had a Hawaiian pizza and a small Fanta. The pizza was dry and hard to eat. I make my own delicious pizza, but maybe adding more tomato paste to the dough or cooking at a lower temperature would help. A decent pizza cost 12 euros, enough to fill one person. BUT I was charged 4.25 euros for a small Fanta. It's not worth it. Today I ordered a shawarma (the first one they had in the kebab selection). The meat and lavash were good, but the sauce didn't go well with it. It felt like they just threw some lettuce and sour cream on it. I also didn't like the temperature; I would have liked it warmer. I think if they found a more complementary sauce and heated it up a bit more, it would be wonderful.

10/12/2025: It is always good at Kong Hans. Been here a number of times and will be back. Amazing food, wine, and service. Selected the Prestige wine menu instead of going for individual bottles. A few impressions added.

05/06/2026: The best experience ever. Our service for the evening, a big smile all through the evening at our and other tables. Always time to answer a question about the food, the restaurant, the staff, the thoughts and what they've been building up through the last 5 years. The food was exquisite, perfectly balanced and a real joy. The view also adds to feeling of calmness and the possibility to just relax and enjoy. This restaurant is on the top of my list to revisit, not only once, but hopefully once a year.

16/05/2026: Breakfast at Ballebro Færgekro. A very special experience. You are greeted with a smile at the reception, the table is ready, the bread is freshly baked and still warm, egg muffins, pancakes, homemade jam and good stories. Everything is delicious. The view is priceless and the hotel has been restored as if it were brand new and 150 years old. Even on a rainy day you can't help but smile. We will definitely come again.

11/04/2026: There is a dedication from the owner and staff, which is very clear. The coffee (e.g. cortado) is always wonderful and well made. And there are really well-composed dishes. Everything has been thought of, for a good experience, both aesthetically and for the taste buds. And then there is a cozy, welcoming style, + clean and neat + always friendly and attentive staff. Can highly recommend Tingvej 12 😊❤️

10/02/2026: Café Tingvej 12 is a really cozy place with a nice and relaxed atmosphere. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was just right. It's a place where you want to stay a little longer - both alone and in good company. Can definitely be recommended if you are in the area and need a good café experience.

30/07/2026: Fantastic museum, and not least a good shop. Lovely restaurant, and friendly staff. But most importantly, a whole section for the little ones to play.
