24/10/2025: Wow, what a beautiful, small, and cozy café. And the cakes, the waffles, the pancakes—simply unbelievably delicious. You can taste the love for the café and the cakes. The service was fantastic and super nice to our children and us. I can 100% recommend it, and anyone in Sonderborg should definitely stop by this café.

05/01/2026: Excellent cafe bistro place in the French cooking style. Not cheap but well worth the price with lots of delicious dishes to choose from in a trendy part of town off the beaten path. I had the French onion soup that had many layers of flavor and a perfect start on a cold evening. Next came the Filet with a delicate pepper sauce, the cut was extraordinary and cooked to perfection. Loved the flavors and seasonings and the staff was charming and attentive, thank you for a great evening!

29/12/2025: The cheeseburger was amazing! Absolutely worth the money. It came with delicious crispy fries and a mayonnaise with a subtle hint of garlic. Delicious! Service: top-notch! However: the menu was available in German, but the staff only spoke very good English.

15/11/2025: Real coffee ☕ The premise for picking up the coffee yourself on busy days is something to learn to embrace. The coffee is the best in the area (tried various sorts). And they have free brewing water for you to pick for your own machine at home (bring your own container).

26/10/2025: I went with my friend for Copenhagen dining week, and it was about 385 dkk each for a five course meal, and we were both very happy with our experience! The dishes were wonderful, the sushi was great, and the meat sticks were very tender and nice. We really liked the croquettes (korokke) and sushi in particular.

18/10/2025: We came two days in a row. No matter what you choose, everything is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful in choosing a menu based on your taste. I highly recommend it. The beef tataki is my favorite.

08/12/2025: We were in Copenhagen for three days and Karla was recommended to us for its regional cuisine. Making a reservation online was easy and even possible at short notice. The atmosphere is rather rustic. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was amazing. The roast pork with the gravy was so tender and delicious. My husband had the Wiener Schnitzel and was also incredibly impressed. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back.
