04/11/2025: Went for lunch. In-house production of the terroir heering from Christiansø close to Bornholm. Excellent and elegant open sandwiches with an extra touch of finesse in flavours and presentation. Very good service.

10/06/2025: Have been here many times - it's my favorite place! We were 2 teens and 2 adults and we agreed: 10 out of 10 stars! All dishes tasted delicious. Note: the best place to sit is in the armchairs. Avoid the benches, they are not good for your back.

14/11/2025: Fantastic brunch. It looks really bad in the pictures but it really is great. At one point there was some kind of very loud company party going on in there, so we had to leave again as we are very sensitive to sound. Otherwise it is great.

12/11/2025: We stopped here for a post-lunch break, just to grab a drink. The place is very nice. Even the beer we tried, one of their own, turned out to be really excellent. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the wait at the bar: the place was practically empty, but I waited about ten minutes because the person behind the bar was still talking and joking with some customers who were drinking at the bar. I understand the informal atmosphere, but if I'm there to order, I'd rather not have to wait so long for no reason. Otherwise, everything was fine. A pleasant place for a break.

26/10/2025: Without any reservation in Aarhud on a weekend it is nearly impossible to get a table. The owner was very nice and we got one for one hour. The Pizza was delicious and the service very friendly! Go there. But make a reservation first 😃

25/10/2025: Delicious and authentic Italian food in the heart of Aarhus. This is our second time here, and it certainly won't be the last. The food is super delicious and tasty. The service is attentive and the room is super cozy, even though you sit close together.

28/09/2025: I have pointed out that you are forced to pay for bags if you order online, but after a long time, they still have not responded. It is really a shame that they do not listen to their customers... They see it as an extra income, as he says "Everyone else does the same", but what justifies it? On top of that, there is also a "Service charge" to pay for the food you order! The legislation was changed in connection with the desire to reduce the use of plastic - you misunderstood that...

08/12/2025: We went to Marv & Ben on a Sunday evening, having booked about a month in advance. As soon as we arrived, they brought us homemade bread with butter, which was excellent. There was no amuse-bouche. We chose the four-course menu with wine pairing. The first course was good (scallop, pear, and buttermilk), the second course wasn't particularly good (cooked and raw cauliflower), the duck was superb (10/10), and the dessert was very good (apple). The pairing wines were excellent! The atmosphere was casual but elegant.

08/12/2025: World-class. We (a couple) have been here several times and it's simply an evening to savor. Exceptional service with exceptional cuisine, great wines, and a relaxing atmosphere. A hidden gem in the culinary city. Thank you, and we'll be back. Greetings from Berlin

04/10/2025: Cake buffet - many different cakes and pancakes. Exciting to try something new. However, one cake was eaten when we arrived - 30 minutes after the start - and no more of it came. Too bad. Therefore only 4 stars for service. Lovely surroundings, where you can go for walks along the lake and see many birds. The atmosphere also only gets 4 stars as it was very noisy and it was a bit difficult to talk at the table.

27/09/2025: An experience for anyone who is forced to eat gluten-free. Ate there 2 days in a row. It was so nice and liberating to sit down at the table on the 2nd day, knowing that EVERYTHING was fine. 10 stars from here. The food is delicious and doesn't differ from anything else except for the things that have gluten in it. Wow 1st time I've had a gluten-free beer at a restaurant and yes not more expensive than the other specialty beers. What's not to like.. The restaurant also has a children's and parents' area with a fairly large play area. There is the option of outdoor dining if desired The toilets are a chapter in themselves, smiles there are nice and proper but one day it was a mess and the next day it was a bit run down, laughs. If you want to know more, you have to visit the place. The waiting time is ok even when it's almost full. The place is cozy and located by Kvie lake. Here in the low season there are limited opening hours so booking a table is a good thing Definitely worth a visit and I will definitely return.
