24/09/2025: Best lunch place we have found! Delicious tuna & lox sandwiches (among other choices, including salads) on yummy fresh whole grain heroes. Lactose-free options = no problem. Generous portions. Super thoughtful & efficient staff will customize your toppings & provide suggestions. Interesting selection of beverages, tiny seating area, reasonable prices, central location. Instead of spending big money on tourist traps, be savvy & enjoy a scrumptious lunch like the locals.

08/10/2025: Very beautifully located and stylishly decorated. We received very courteous service, even though we only had a small bite at lunch. The dishes on the dinner menu sounded very tempting, but the selection was a bit limited at lunch, which is a shame for day trippers. The goat cheese salad could have been improved a bit; it was interesting with dried fruit, but there was too much of it; fig might have been a better match, and there were various salads. Overall, however, we were very satisfied and would gladly try more again.

16/08/2025: The most beautiful place, really good food and the sweetest owners. It can't be said more concisely and precisely. We have been treated so wonderfully by Louise and Jacob. Their open sandwiches for lunch and their evening menu are really well put together with both taste and visual expression that play really well together. Their drinks are on the fun side when it comes to the alcohol percentage, which is a rarity in other places. Only the best ingredients and liquids are used. But that is certainly not reflected in the price, as they are extremely competitive on both wine, drinks and food. As a small footnote, the place has the absolute best location if you want to see a beautiful sunset. Many thumbs up from us.

02/10/2025: K-Bar, on Ved Stranden 20, 1061 København, is one of Copenhagen’s longest standing cocktail institutions, with good reason. Founded by Kirsten Holm, it’s often credited with helping elevate the city’s cocktail culture and drink scene. From the moment you step in, K-Bar strikes a tone that feels intimate, stylish, and relaxed. The space is not large, with fewer than ten bar seats, with a small side lounge and soft, low-slung seating. The lighting is dim and cozy, with a monochrome décor that keeps the focus on the drinks and the company rather than flashy surroundings. There’s an air of sophistication without being pretentious in any way. Cocktails are the star here. If you like martinis, you’re in for a treat; K-Bar boasts around 13 variations, including their Monster Martini, which is often recommended.  The menu mixes classics with creative, infused twists and unexpected flavor combinations, attention to fresh, seasonal ingredients.  For those not wanting to stick to the menu, the bartenders (Kirsten) are known to be accommodating and inventive to whatever tastes you may have. The service at K-Bar receives consistently high marks. The bartenders are skilled, friendly, and often happy to chat about a drink you might like or how they put together one you’ve ordered.  It’s a place where you can linger; many people go intending to have one drink and stay for several; as we did. On weekends it can get busy (though it never loses its intimate feel entirely), so if you want more space or quiet, off-peak hours are best. K-Bar is a gem for anyone who appreciates excellent cocktails made with care, and an atmosphere that’s polished yet warming. It’s ideal if you want to slow down, try something special, and enjoy conversation rather than loud crowds. For cocktail lovers, it’s hard to beat in Copenhagen and definitely worth a visit. They do not have a kitchen, but they do have snack available to buy. Definitely recommended!

09/08/2025: This hot dog was really good — you could tell the sausage was high-quality and contained plenty of meat. We had it with everything, and it was the right choice. On top, there was mustard, ketchup, pickles, and crispy fried onions.
