07/09/2025: A wonderful experience of traditional Danish cuisine right in the heart of Odense, just a short walk from Hans Christian Andersen’s House. The dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, each plate showing real attention to detail. The local beer was excellent and paired perfectly with the food. The restaurant is divided into two sections, one more elegant and one more casual. We sat in the less formal area, which still offered a warm and pleasant setting. The atmosphere overall is relaxed and welcoming, with a charming historical feel that makes the meal even more special. The only note for me was the apple pie, which was a little too sweet for my taste, though still well-prepared. Compliments to the chef for a memorable dining experience – highly recommended!

11/10/2025: BEST bloody vegan burger I’ve ever had!! The chips are also damn goodd! But the vegan burger was out of this world - the flavour was just amazing! We will be coming back before we go back to Australia… The only down side is that they don’t have this restaurant in Brisbane Australia 😭😂

12/10/2025: Open-faced sandwiches on Saturday around 12:30. The restaurant is almost full. You get a lot of food, but on the average without being bad. Schulstad sunflower bread is good rye bread. The cheese plate is not one that you remember as particularly exciting.

12/10/2025: Delicious food, good strong (super delicious) coffee. The missing star is the price, we think 145 kr for a meal that wasn't particularly great is just a bit too much.

16/10/2025: Fun restaurant with a go vibe. Full of happy guests. Same menu for everyone with 8 antipasti which were overall very good. For a higher rating I would have liked to have had a few more dishes that were hot and cooked on the spot. The best dishes were tuna tartare and tomatoes with burrata.

12/10/2025: Just want to give the heads up for the sake of other people who may be making the same mistake as us- this is not the fish location of theirs, but they serve only fish at this location too! We’ve been obsessing over the instagram that’s almost all pasta and knew we were booking a prefix menu. We didn’t book at the fish spot because we were so excited to try the pastas, and the prefix here was 100% fish, no pasta. It was great regardless but want to put it out there for anyone else that may be confused!

19/05/2025: The food was nothing to write home about. We thought we were going to have gourmet food, but it was very simple.

05/09/2025: One of the worst restaurant in the place. Waited for 30 mins even before waited came for order. Restaurant rejected service and asked us to place ordered and asked to place 10 orders for 10 people and did not allow the huge pizza. Worst worst experience. Pathetic host.

15/08/2025: We often visit Sønderborg and eat there regularly. Very good Italian pizza at a fair price. Highly recommended.
