17/05/2026: I have been eating at City Kebab since I was a child, and it honestly makes me a little sad to write this review. The place used to be one of those places you could always trust. Good service, good atmosphere and quality food. But since the new owners have taken over, I unfortunately haven't been able to recognize the place anymore. I have been there three times to give the place a fair chance. All three times the experience has been bad. The service has gotten significantly worse, and there seems to be a lack of focus on both quality and the customers' orders. A recurring problem every time is that you don't feel listened to. If you say "minus tomato" or ask for something specific to be removed, it still ends up in the food anyway. It may sound like a small thing, but when it happens again and again, it just shows a lack of attention and respect for the customer's order. The biggest problem, however, is the food. Especially the veal. In the past, it was some of the best, but now I have several times felt nauseous after a few bites. This is something I have never experienced with you before. I actually started to wonder if the problem might just be my own sense of taste. So I decided to try something different and ordered a bowl mix with kebab, chicken and fries. Instead I got kebab and chicken with rice. Fair enough, mistakes happen, and I could live with that. But when I took the first bite, I had to put the food down immediately. The taste was so bad that I felt nauseous and ended up throwing the whole meal away. I have never done that before with food from you.

04/04/2026: Miss the old owner tried their meat strips a while ago there really was no meat The local pizzaria is cheaper and puts more meat in than you... besides that he should probably have a Course on how to heat food So you get hot food

12/10/2025: Small place with live music and a really good atmosphere. There is music in one of their rooms, and peace in the other 🫶

12/10/2025: There is never anyone at the bar. You have to wait 30 minutes before you are served.

09/02/2026: Ordered food for delivery but the food arrived 30 minutes BEFORE the ordered time - quite annoying when my husband and son were not home. So they got cold food. Called them and explained that I will not accept to pay for the food when it does not arrive at the agreed time but they did not understand my message. Wrote in the order % tomato due to allergy and there was tomato in all three of our food.

12/12/2025: 1 hour and 35 minutes wait for food poisoning. We came with two children aged 7 and 10. Ordered 4 steaks with sides. We waited 1 hour and 35 minutes for our food with a child hanging over the food and half asleep. The waiter was friendly and apologetic and although we got a discount on the bill, we went home feeling like we had thrown money out the window. Unfortunately we took a souvenir of food poisoning home with us. I have been visiting Hereford since I was a child, but this "new" Hereford is not worth the visit.

24/05/2026: Went down here Sunday morning before I had to go to work to buy 4 buttered rolls, it ended up costing me 120kr despite her putting 60kr in on the cash register, and was now quite surprised that a baker can be 1/3 above the price of what 7/11 charges for their buttered rolls. Not a place I can recommend.

27/10/2025: Very good bakery and friendly staff. I had a Kanelstang stykke, a low, stripy cinnamon bun. As always, cinnamon-y and delicious!

21/10/2025: I arrived within my Too Good To Go pickup window this evening; staff members were inside but had locked the doors and wouldn't acknowledge me or explain why. I'm a local resident and this felt surprisingly cold and unkind—especially after paying for an order.

08/07/2026: The food was good, although very expensive—but that's Copenhagen. What really disappointed us was that they charged us 30 DKK for two glasses of tap water, even though this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. It was just regular tap water, nothing special. We had brunch there and spent a significant amount on food, so charging extra for tap water felt unreasonable, especially since tap water is usually provided free of charge in most restaurants in Copenhagen. To make matters worse, when we complained, they offered us a piece of cake instead. We appreciated the gesture, but that completely missed the point. We didn't want free cake—we simply didn't want to be charged for tap water in the first place.

07/06/2026: I bought three bread rolls at Circle K on Kystvejen. The counter said that 3 pieces cost 49 kr., but I was charged 64 kr. When I asked the employee about the price difference, I was simply told that the price was correct. After paying, I waited for the receipt, but it was not given. Therefore, I had no way of checking what had actually been put in the box. I found the situation strange and unsatisfactory. If there is an error in the campaign or the price tag, it should be explained clearly to the customer.

22/05/2026: I don't recommend stopping here. You can be fined €135 if you're not familiar with the parking system.

13/11/2025: Brunch on a Sunday a little after 10 am. The service was a bit sluggish at first, but I guess they had just opened, it quickly improved. Delicious brunch platter, good coffee and really good juice. I don't know where they found the melons, but they were fantastic. Everything we ate and drank was completely satisfactory and at a reasonable price. Be aware that all food at the brunch plant is served in tall glasses. It's nice, fun and possibly also easier, but if you, like me and about 700,000 other Danes, suffer from arthritis, it's hard to eat from without pain. However, I'm pretty sure you can get a plate if you ask for it🙂 Unfortunately, I let my vanity get the better of me and had a few tough days as a result.

12/07/2026: I ordered Lamb rogan josh..it was super delicious..the staffs was kind, respectful and professional ...I was more than satisfied....Found new decent place to eat.

01/07/2026: Great food, great service and a really good atmosphere. I especially love their homemade chicken sandwich, but all their pizzas and dishes taste amazing.
