16/06/2026: We visited Restaurant 1861 at Marienlyst to celebrate a special occasion with other couples, and we had high expectations for the evening. Fortunately, they were met - and more! From the moment we arrived, we felt pampered. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, and it was a special experience to enjoy a glass of champagne with a view of the Øresund and the sound of the water in the background. The service was attentive, professional and personal. The staff made an effort to talk about both the dishes and the wines, which made the dinner even more exciting and educational. We chose the 5-course menu, which offered several new and surprising taste experiences. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, but the lobster in particular was a taste experience that we still talk about. All in all, we had a thoroughly wonderful evening with fantastic food, exquisite service and an atmosphere that made the celebration extra special. It certainly won't be the last time we indulge ourselves at Restaurant 1861. Highest recommendations from here!

15/05/2026: Extremely small portions! I ordered buratta, and it turned out to be 1/3 of a normal buratta. My friends were shocked by the size of my portion. Apparently, the restaurant is also going through a crisis and the portions are getting smaller. I don't recommend this place for food. Maybe just have some wine with a sea view.

05/05/2026: Super annoying, but the place has dropped incredibly in quality over the past year - at least on our orders. About a year ago, your order was pampered, and there was diligent decoration (even to the lavish side). There was a clear difference in that the food was more gourmet and delicious than the other standard menus. Overall, we got the impression that there were delicious ingredients and everything was just perfect compared to what we have otherwise had in the area - and we were often pleasantly surprised by the "chef's choice". If we order today, we unfortunately get what looks like standard menus, even though we pay for "gourmet" sushi. Totally ordinary boring ebi rolls, where the dough around the shrimp is so boring and cold that it feels like something made the day before. You really get some boring rolls and there is not the slightest care for the food or the presentation - you might get a few extra spoonfuls of the boring roe. The nigiri has also become a bit boring and not as varied as before. Super sad, because it was our favorite place in town despite the fact that the price was a bit high. It's still delicious food and if you order the specific things on the menu, they are still fine. However, the menus have been cut so much that they shouldn't exist. We have come to the point where we would rather save the few hundred kroner and take a chance at the other places in town.

03/05/2026: Don't buy pizza here. You come home with the wrong pizza, and when you go to exchange it, they say it's your own fault because you have to speak slowly because the person answering the phone is Italian and doesn't understand Danish very well. That's totally fine, Danish is a difficult language. But I don't think it's right that you get kicked out of the store because you want the right pizza. There are super good pizzas at Costa Smeralda and Vitalia and you don't get kicked out there 🤣🤣 it's a shame because it's actually a really good pizza, but you shouldn't have your pizza evening ruined because the pizza guy is angry...

14/12/2025: It was an attached party room. Nice service with coffee, viennese bread and refreshments; but the acoustics were terrible. The room was filled with about 25 people, who were talking happily. It thundered violently. We were two older people and could hardly hear what the other person was saying :(

09/12/2025: ⭐️ Centrally located mwd free parking ⭐️ Varied, delicious and flavorful food ⭐️ Reasonable prices ⭐️ High level of service ⭐️ Clean toilets We were invited to an event, but if you live in the area, it's a really good place for your guests. I love places that serve both Coke and Pepsi 😊 Tuborg and Carlsberg 😊

04/07/2026: Food is okey, nothing special but the value for the money is not there, i may say overpriced also they were not careful at the bill … we were charged with staff we didn’t had … 150 dkk more is a bit issue for a bfast.

21/06/2026: Always on point. A visit to Granola on Værnedamsvej is always a pleasure. From breakfast to afternoon refreshments, the food and drinks are consistently excellent, served in a setting that feels both timeless and effortlessly charming. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and quintessentially Copenhagen, with a touch of Parisian café culture that makes it easy to linger a little longer than planned. Whether stopping by for coffee, a meal, or simply to soak in the ambiance, Granola never disappoints. A true neighborhood institution and one of our favorite places to visit whenever we are in the area. Highly recommended.

12/07/2026: We had a bachelorette party for our friend at our “youth spot”, Cuca, and had the pleasure of having Julie as a bartender. She had a huge smile and was fantastic behind the bar! :)

19/05/2026: We had a super good experience, full of people but still a good experience. Really good service from the employees and especially “Sofie” who was in high spirits and helped with various things. Definitely recommended😁

08/11/2025: After realizing that I was charged 15kr for a glass of water with my dinner, I'm editing my review. Absolutely criminal, that's how much I spend on 4 bottles of beer at the market where I shop! A glass of water is free, and it always has been. Don't support greed like this, there's no place for it in the world! 👎 Came in to get a bite and kill some time, was happy to try my first Chinese restaurant in Denmark... Tried the shrimp fried rice and it was very nice, chunky vegetables with a good crunch, and the shrimp were plentiful and perfectly cooked. Flavor balanced seemed perfect, not oversalted. The chili oil was a great way to kick it up a notch or two, but watch out! It's good and hot! 🔥 Would love to return and try the buffet as well as sushi someday 🤞

14/04/2026: Unfortunately disappointed with the quality of the food. The fries were not the same as many people took pictures of. Mine was quite ordinary. And the burger was also boring nothing special wow about it, unfortunately.

01/07/2026: I had the best blueberry lemon cheesecake here! It was amazing and absolutely delicious 😋 I also tried the veggie toast and cappuccino and my day just got a thousand times better! Always going to remember this beautiful place :)

24/06/2026: Ordered a iced coffee without syrup, got it with. Ordered a bounty bar. Got a Snickers one. Discovered it when I was at work. I couldn't eat or drink it as I don't like coffee with syrup and I am allergic to peanuts.

24/11/2025: The food is superb, delicious and you can safely eat dozens of kebabs, salads and drinks. A warm atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service. You should definitely stop by.

23/12/2025: We had the beef and chicken sandwiches and they were really good!! The service also super nice, it was quiet when we went so we had the chance to chat a bit more with the owner, and it was great! Besides they were passing great music on :D Highly recommend this place
