20/06/2026: I have been coming to Salato for many years and have always asked for “a lot of dressing” in my sandwich and when I asked for the same today, I was told that it costs 6 kr extra for “extra dressing”. I ask if this is new, to which the answer is that it has always been like this. I don’t know if I have been “lucky” for many years or if I caught the clerk on a bad day, but I have never been informed and have never paid more. I don’t mind paying extra for more, but the amount you get for 6 kr extra is extremely small, I am not unreasonable and I am not asking for more liters in.. 95 kr for a sandwich with “extra” dressing is deeply bad and I have to look for another sandwich place unfortunately.

24/10/2026: Food was really good! It would be great if the restaurant could have some soft, pleasant music playing in the background. Guests could enjoy their delicious food while listening to lovely songs and taking in the beautiful outdoor views, making their dining experience even more relaxing and enjoyable )

11/11/2025: We had lunch at Fortunen after a trip to Dyrehaven. It was a disappointing experience due to boring food and drinks and really bad service. It's a shame because the location is really beautiful.

22/09/2026: The chai powder contains milk. I ordered an oat milk chai, I asked about the powder, they said it did not contain milk. It tasted funny to me, so I looked up the brand (David Rio) and it contains milk. Luckily I don’t have an allergy but I am vegan and it also made me sick. Sadly when asking for compensation the manager was rude and belittling. It was the orange ‘tiger’ tub, not the ‘flamingo’ variety that is mentioned in the reply, but both contain milk anyway. He confirmed the ingredient list too but claims milk protein isn’t milk.

12/10/2026: The meatballs have continuously gotten worse. We used to look forward to this quick dinner. After 30 years of visits, we will no longer visit the restaurant. Menu has also become very limited. You get what you pay for.....

03/10/2026: What a terrible experience. The food was absolutely disgusting and far below any reasonable standard. I simply don't understand how you can serve something so bad and expect people to eat it. This place left a really bad impression and I will never go back. After my experience, the place should seriously reconsider what they are even doing.

31/10/2025: i wish every restaurant did this trio choice thing , it would really save me so much emotional turmoil from indecision every single time i go out. pizzas were also a good size and i think the price was reasonable — PLUS, you get your own mini pizza cutter which i thought was super fun. the space was a bit small but it really added to the nice quaint, cozy vibe. i got the sweet cheesus, rosemary bacon, and the fall special pumpkin & parmesan. my favourite was probably the sweet cheesus, which was slightly sweet, super warm and juicy with stretchy, melted cheese, and was just super comforting. i also really enjoyed the balance of the smoky, salty bacon and the slight sweetness of the crunchy pumpkin slices, along with the faint aroma of the rosemary. the pumpkin & parmesan was not really as notable, and i wish there was a stronger, sweeter pumpkin flavour. the chili flakes did add a nice spice to it though. i also tried the truffle and thyme, which had a lot of mushrooms with a really strong wild mushroom taste to it, and honestly not enough truffle. all the crusts were quite crispy, but the dough did get just slightly too chewy/tough for me as it cooled pretty quickly. i recommend getting a dip because eating the crust is always better with a dip.

06/09/2026: It's simply the best ice cream I've tasted in a long time. Been to Ismejeriet a handful of times, stylish shops, but mediocre ice cream - here it's the exact opposite. Wow ice cream!

12/06/2026: Their selection of ice cream is delicious, but unfortunately they are quite stingy with the sizes. I was there with my mother, who ordered a medium soft serve, which was ridiculously small. We were completely silent as we left and agreed that the price was too high, and that it was simply embarrassing that the ice cream man could bring himself to hand her a soft serve with the ice cream hidden deep inside the waffle.

03/10/2026: Changed after a return visit as the food quality had dropped a lot. There was a nice selection but the fish fillet was poor quality and the eggs had black fluff on them (probably from a tea towel) ------ Nice food at a fair price. Always smiling service and a good selection. She has a lot of diversity even before closing time, so you don't show up for 10 potato dishes and a sausage roll.

26/09/2026: Unfortunately, we don't know that, as it was closed for the holidays, even though it said they were open until 1 p.m.

13/09/2026: Friendly service and such a selection to choose from. Three scoops later, thank you we really enjoyed the ice cream

16/08/2026: Ice cream was ok. Rum-raisins tasted a bit artificial and too sweet. Pistachio was good. But I tried the best guf topping! 😍
