Booking in advance is recommended, we are lucky to get a cancellation but had tried on 2 different nights.
20/11/2024: The food was so good that we went there two nights in a row. We had already booked a table at another restaurant for my birthday dinner, but the food at Maples was so good we decided to go there instead. We had the beef tenderloin, and crème brûlée on the first night, and the carpaccio for starter, duck for main, and the chocolate cake on the second night. The service was very good, they were attentive and gave us nice recommendations for wine etc. I also recommend their take on the Old fashioned cocktail- the best we had on our trip to Denmark They deserve more than 5 ⭐️

24/11/2024: I walked into this unassuming cafe on a regular gray and rainy Sunday. I walked out of the rain and cold into a universe of cacao. It has everything I like about cacao without any of the fuss. I had the best cup of ceremonial cacao to date and that’s saying a lot. I’ve been to a gazillion cacao ceremonies and none compare to the one simple and honest cup from Pods of Beans. That’s what I call a true heart opening.

07/11/2024: As a Thai tourist travelling with 2 of my friends, we can confirm that this is a true authentic Thai.
The food was amazing, the service was brilliant, the owner and her husband were very friendly and talkative. They even gave us some complimentary spring rolls, they were so yummy !
On top of that, the price was very cheap, compares to other restaurants in Copenhagen.
We would 100% recommend this hidden gem and support a family run business :)

The service was super friendly and explained all the dishes to us.
The food was very tasty and made with love. The price-performance ratio was great.
It's also nice that you can determine the level of spiciness yourself.

22/10/2024: Very quaint Danish lunch restaurant. It was always quite busy when we were there, so reservations are recommended. We were lucky and got a free spot. The service is very friendly and accommodating, speaks several languages and gives very good advice. The food was fresh and the portions were above average for a Danish lunch. We found the prices a bit high, even by Danish standards, but still worth a visit!
18/10/2024: If you are into classic smørrebrød, there is only one thing to say. Try it.

But if you do, it's all worth the wait.
Expect an experience, real perfection and wonderful food.
Doubt that you will find better Italian food in all of Copenhagen and perhaps all of Denmark.
Finally, take the typing menu with wine.
Come back every week if I could. About 1,000 per person for 5 glasses of wine and 6 dishes.
Huge recommendation from here.
