03/11/2025: Blend pork burittos, felt like canned food. 2 years ago it was much better, not sure what changed.

27/09/2025: Worst tacos i ever had... boiled musrmoos with worst pico de gallo ever, boiled chicken with hospital tomato sauce and no garnish, and the pork one deserve a 4/5 a little tasty... and the tortilla was really bad too...Hope you can put more effort for the people and for the context you are in.

15/01/2026: Very close to the train and metro. Room cleaning wasn't very good.

06/01/2026: Room: We chose a railway sleeper room. During our stay the weather was fairly warm. Unfortunately, there is no air con so we had to open the door which allowed for air but made sleeping noisier than closed. If you require silence do not stay here but if you like white noise (door closed) the noise is fine. The rooms are clean and basic but suitable. We came with our baby and a cot and nice duvet spread was provided. The bunk beds, once pulled out from the wall, have very very sharp locks on them which we have cut ourselves on. (This needs to be changed as not suitable for adults never mind children). The bathroom could do with grout cleaner. It would be good to have a valuables safe in the rooms. There is no lift so staying here on my own with a pram wouldn’t have worked as there are no ground floor rooms. Food: The breakfast we did not have as it is roughly £15 per day. Service: The staff are attentive providing us a fan for the room and cutlery for our take outs. The location: 2 mins to the train station and a small supermarket. Direct routes to the airport and Sweden. Overall price: I guess it’s reasonable for Copenhagen but compared to other countries I have travelled it’s on the expensive side for a 3 star.

02/02/2025: Lyngby is a somewhat boring, This is the only nightlife escape in that location. I would say it’s not the most exciting place to visit nether the worst. Staff are generally good, but they have to pay more attention and be more professional for example on a table we did have three full beers 🍺 we just passed to the toilets for a couple of minutes and was very surprised that the cleared the table without even asking us. After all we did have a nice time so that’s why I will raise and give you 3 stars.

28/02/2026: They accidentally sent us the wrong pizza, and when we called, they sent a new one right away, at their expense. Super good service!

15/12/2025: We had to wait a long time for the food and go up to the counter and ask for it ourselves. And voila, it came. It seemed as if they hadn't thought about serving either. Before we left, I pointed out to a young 'waiter' that I had dropped my knife on the floor and that there was mashed potatoes that others could step on. The answer was: "Well, for Satan!" That's a VERY rude answer and not worthy of a waiter. My answer to him was that I didn't think we should involve Satan in it😉

02/11/2025: There were 4 of us visiting last night. It was the worst sushi I have ever had, only sparingly, 3 pieces on all three plates, not all plates were refilled, only a little on one plate. I thought I had tuna, but it was the brown under the skin from salmon, otherwise just crab and some indeterminate batter, none of it tasted of anything, there was no tuna at all. I approached the counter to get chilli mayo, I was almost scolded by the lady. An unusually bad experience, will never come again.

07/10/2025: Me and my wife went there recently. My wife Debo asked me personally to write this review. We arrived in the evening when most of the day was pouring with rain. Inside was very cozy and quiet. We ordered the 1-protein bowl, matcha latte, and cappuccino. The food and coffee was good. We really enjoyed the overall experience. Coffee and snacks in rainy evening fits so good. 😍

02/08/2025: I decided to take my girlfriend to this place because she had wanted to for a long time. From the outside, everything is cool, bright, I like it. When we went inside, it was quite dark. There were very few people. We ordered waffles for each person and a latte for each. It took a relatively long time to prepare, but this is understandable - because 2 people are working. They brought us waffles, but the portion was catastrophically small. The girl liked everything except the portion of food, and I - except for coffee and waffles, nothing else, but I also had a catastrophically small portion. The girl may come, but I definitely will not. Therefore, my assessment is this.

23/08/2025: So, what the hell is going on at Rene's? The place itself is nice, but the bartender clearly hasn't passed the exam in good service. You really have to look a long time for such POOR service and get such poor and downright condescending treatment. I even witnessed a verbal assault on two girls the bartender didn't think were good enough to play pool. The worst part of the experience was actually that the bartender continued with his rude behavior, as if it was completely normal, without the slightest understanding that he was ruining the atmosphere for all the other guests. It was unpleasant to be there, and I left feeling like I had wasted both time and money.

19/08/2025: One of the few brown pubs that still exist, fortunately. Cozy atmosphere and great service and the food (beers) is cold and fresh from the box. I'm not a smoker but I always smoke at the worst. Thanks René.

21/12/2025: Super cozy place, although a bit expensive for admission, it's the same everywhere in Copenhagen, there's plenty of space and good music, even the option of burgers all night long

14/12/2025: *edited* The evening went quite well - great energy on the floor, great DJ and good music. 5 stars. When I had to pick up my jacket again, which I had dropped off 1/1.5 hours before, it had gone missing in the cloakroom. Very disappointing considering that it is quite cold in December. It was even more disappointing that I had a bag with me too, which they could easily find. The jacket was found and the service throughout was good, but it is a shame that it really left its mark on the evening.

30/12/2025: I tried three different kinds of their kebab today: chicken, minced beef, and lamb with bulgur. It was the worst kebab I have ever had. The lamb and chicken were extremely low quality and tasted like they had been sitting in the fridge for days. The bulgur was awful, as if it had been cooked days ago and simply reheated today. Only the minced beef kebab was OK. This was my first and absolutely last time going there. I strongly recommend that no one goes there. It is not worth trying even once.

26/12/2025: The taste was unique, we tried several dishes all tasted extraordinary good.
