27/09/2025: Amazing place! Beautiful buildings, environment and good food. 👌

12/08/2025: Nice location and grounds, but a mixed bag otherwise. (1) Weak drip from the shower in the room (second floor in one of the annexes); explained as ‘eco certification requirement’. (Never saw that in other hotels, and it’s not very practical for the guests). (2) Breakfast is budget quality yet steeply priced. There is really no excuse for that awful budget style omelet, lack of cheeses (a breakfast staple in Denmark), lack of edible fruit, too-dense-to-eat yoghurt, and the fact that each espresso cup is priced separately (good quality though it is). (3) No minibars in rooms. (4) No bath robes in rooms (we got them when we insisted) despite having bath slippers placed in rooms. (5) The policy of having to pay to access gym by the hour. (6) The hotel has two outdoor spaces with tables - yet breakfasts are served in the windowless cellar (the only people who enjoy outdoors meals are the staff, around noon every day - they know what’s good 😉). The management is aware of the deficiencies and go over and above to compensate for them when one gives feedback.

04/12/2025: In love with the vibes of this bakery and the location, right by Reffen. The foccacia bianca sandwich with kale and mushrooms was great, as well as their homemade Kombucha. It was hard to find a place to seat and even tho I appreciate the rustic vibes, you could see some cleaning was needed in the tables and sitting area.

01/12/2025: Deserves all the hype it already has. You need to take the bus to visit but trust me, it is so worth it. Always packed but you can easily find a place to sit, especially in the upper area. The coffee is not great and there’s only one kind but the delicacies are extraordinary. Reasonably priced.

28/11/2025: Went to SPIS for brunch last weekend and was honestly surprised by how good it was. I ordered their brunch plate and everything tasted super fresh — especially the apple pie with whipped cream and the pancakes! The portion was bigger than I expected, so great value for the price. The service was also really lovely. Our waitress (a sweet girl from Ukraine) was very friendly and checked on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. It made the whole experience feel very welcoming. Cozy atmosphere, tasty food, good prices — definitely come back to try their burgers next time.

17/06/2025: Such a lovely little gem. It's like stepping back in time and living in a fairytale set in the 1920's (ish) Everything is so well thought of and very authentic and charming . There's everything you need and it is more cosy than any other hotel I have stayed at. I actually wish we had more time to really enjoy the room other than sleeping and getting ready to go out. The cafe downstairs has the friendliest staff and a surprisingly nice and big breakfast plate with great coffee. I am sure I will be back even though I live 20 minutes away. 😍

10/04/2025: I went only for a cup of cappuccino. Coffee was good, cafe is a bit small but cozy. Loved the neighborhood that it’s nestled in.

17/10/2024: Really nice experience. Wanted to come here for a long time and it lived up to expectations. There were two of us who took the "menu", costing 395 each and then 100 kroner extra each. person, if you want txuleta, which is really worth it, if you want to treat yourself to the rare steak😍 unfortunately we were too full for dessert, otherwise I was really looking forward to Basque cheesecake, it will have to be next time🤞🏼 wonderful and personal service, thank you! Note that it is also nice with a delicious non-alcoholic drink, anaperitivo.

23/10/2025: The café has a nice atmosphere, but the pastry was too sweet for my taste, and the coffee wasn’t very good. Overall, an average experience - decent place to stop by, but not my first choice for coffee or dessert.

11/10/2025: One of my favorite meals while visiting Copenhagen. I walked in and got a seat at the bar and immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. I opted for the "7 Servings" menu option, 7 courses from the menu so I could a try a bunch of things. It was so much food for a great price, and I found everything to be beautifully presented, simple, and very delicious. The pizza bread is not to be missed.

13/08/2025: We love this restaurant. Whenever we are in Copenhagen we come here. This week it was just my wife and I (going with a group - especially first timers is also lot of fun) and as ever the food, the ambience and the staff were excellent. The food is impossibly complex and why it's so much fun hearing the staff explain the dishes. We typically have the wine pairing as they also do a nice job of matching the wine to the dishes. Coming from the US it's also fantastic to try wines that simply do not get over there.

12/08/2025: Spot on food, kind of spotty service. Not in a horrible way. Main server and another young server were excellent. Super nice and attentive. They had one other server who seemed new who was a bit confused. Good luck to him I’m sure he will get better but we were served the wrong item to the wrong person, taken away, then re-served it and then finally had that taken away again. Not horrible, just a bit funny. Anyway the food was excellent and inventive while also being accessible and delicious, and all in all we appreciated the service. It was a pleasant experience. Very laid back atmosphere.

19/10/2025: Cozy place with space outside and inside.

16/10/2025: Super cozy little place on the harbor. I had a delicious salmon sandwich and it was enough to fill me up. A nice place to sit and look out over the water.
