26/08/2025: Worst kebab of my life, and I've tried it in at least 20 different countries. Expensive, bad, and the service was unfriendly. The pork isn't grilled and the bread is the kind you get at the supermarket. Horrible.

28/06/2025: The place looks but pretty dirty on the table 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 We order latte & americano , both serve warm but americano only fill up 60% ? Latte coffee cup is leaking so we have to replace a one. Strawberry cheese cake - I don’t think it is cheese as it seems like cream cake more and not nice. Cinnamon roll — 😮‍💨😮‍💨 too sweet and can’t taste any cinnamon at all. Staff is polite but wish they can tidy up the place a bit. Not recommend

23/06/2025: This place seems understaffed. Only 2 people are taking plenty of orders at the counter, at the window, preparing the food, and the drinks. The staff wasn't too friendly. My coffee was extremely hot (burnt milk), and the cinnamon roll was cold.

14/03/2026: The stay is pretty good. The room I got was fine. But I would have liked a little more information about where my room was and how to get there. The location of this motel is a bit tricky as there is only access from 1 side of the road. Which makes it very difficult to get in. I didn't get much information about my stay here. Just my key and where I could park (because I asked for it myself). But other than that it's a nice place.

11/03/2026: Really cozy and authentic motel. We were really pleasantly surprised by the mattresses in the bed. Lots of history on the walls.

But now I've ordered from Jais Madhus more than ten times, and it's been just as delicious every time. Most recently I ordered their panang curry with tofu – very spicy – ​​and wait, how good was it. Perfectly balanced, rich and flavorful, and the spice was just right in the cupboard. The tofu was delicious and took the flavor really well. The quality is consistently high, the food tastes authentic, and you can clearly feel the love and care behind the dishes. Jais Madhus is without a doubt one of my go-to places in Copenhagen when I want really good Thai food. Highly recommended!

29/10/2025: We had a reservation, waited for 45 minutes to have our order taken, even though the place was not even remotely busy. Will never return nor order take away. Poor service.

26/10/2025: A few hours before our reservation the host called to tell us that the restaurant were overbooked for the evening. The host explained that this would influence the waiting time for our food and the quality of service, and that it would be much better for us to move our reservation to another location. The food was, like always, pretty good and the service at a minimum. But the whole booking-mishap is extremely unprofessional.

09/09/2025: Super cozy and tasty place to eat and enjoy a beer🍺 or a glass of wine 🍷 And the service is top notch. PS. Oh well, value for money 👍🏻

27/12/2025: I really really like this place. We went for a date and made a remark about this when creating the reservation. We got the most cozy and romantic table in the restaurant. The service was great respectful of our privacy while still attentive to our needs. Food was excellent and exactly what we expected, wine was a perfect match. I truly recommend Appetit.

24/12/2025: We had such a lovely family meal here! The waiter was so lovely, especially with my son. Great little meal for him. The Moscow Mules were really tasty. Food was top quality and everyone enjoyed it. But the cosy atmosphere and personal touch was what made it extra special. Such a lovely evening ☺️ —- UPDATE —- Wow. Again - what an amazing restaurant! The food was seriously incredible. Tuna tartar and hake were absolutely some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The service as last time was personal, professional and warm. Great cocktails and it really is such a gem of a place 😍

26/03/2026: Nice restaurant and we got pizza and it was super good for a good price. I would say though that a glass of wine at a restaurant in Ballerup should not cost 90 kr.

03/12/2025: Super cozy cafe, but the food did not live up to the impression you got from the menu. For example, we ordered a chicken sandwich which was more of a salad with bread. There was far too much mixed in that it simply could not be eaten. A lot was made of presentation, but you have to consider whether it is to cover up the quality.. Service and atmosphere are great, but honestly the food cannot live up to the first impression.

19/11/2025: Cozy, good quality of both coffee and pastries, friendly service, fair prices, seating quite ok for the purpose. Not fancy or suitable for large groups - but both can be quite positive selling points if you want something low-key that is a bit peaceful. It is a refreshing alternative to the big chains, with homemade pastries and soul. Choose the place safely if you are into the local touch. There is wifi if you need to do a bit of work too.
