Delicious cakes 👌🏻🍓 A cake man for a child's birthday is a must. Really nice and a good price. Why does it smell so strange in there?

10/01/2026: Good and warm welcome. We ordered bread and olive oil as a side dish - got pizza dough and cut like pizza and an oil that only drips out of the bottle. Where is the delicious foccasia bread? Then came carbonara. It is not a carbonara. Pasta was ordinary spaghetti (not homemade for 155kr) and the taste was so bitter. We can't get closer. But there is a nice atmosphere and cozy. We can't complain about that. But the food we got. We won't come back for that.

10/12/2025: My absolute favorite place for a quick lunch! The service is well above the ordinary, you are always greeted with a smile, presence and a welcome that makes you feel more than at home. It is a pleasure every time I walk through the door. The food is always fresh, well-prepared and perfect grab-and-go for a busy day. A place I can highly recommend to everyone.

23/08/2025: No too hot, is the best way to describe this delicious very authentic Indian food. We had Tikka and Butter both lamb and chicken, some slightly oversalted Papadoms and some fine tiny rolls. The chutney was also fine - a bit mundane. The lamb was large fine cuts, probably hindæeg, really good and the chicken was aost juicy Next time, I'll have it Vindaloo 😋

18/01/2026: Despite sending multiple emails in advance to organize our group’s visit, the overall experience was well below average. The food was acceptable but nothing memorable, especially considering the high prices. Unfortunately, it was the service that nearly ruined the experience. To summarize, the restaurant was clearly understaffed, and this resulted in poor and, at times, rude service. Although four tables had been reserved for our group, the restaurant reassigned one of them to tourists without consulting us. Had some members of our group not canceled at the last minute, the situation would have been a complete disaster. While the staff eventually tried to do their best, only one waiter was assigned to our large group, which was far from adequate. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

06/01/2026: Like all restaurants at this address, it's very touristy. However, the food stands out positively: good, honest Danish home cooking. We had to wait a long time for our drinks at first, but after that, the service was quite quick and always friendly and attentive. If you're looking to eat at Nyhavn, then No. 41 is a good choice!

02/11/2025: Humiliated for your own money - this is a short summary of visit to so much praised restaurant. We visited this place back in 2021 and now in 2025 I’m still traumatized from the experience. Both me and my husband had hair in one of the dishes, I do not know how is it even possible, but it unfortunately happened. Chef of the restaurant (his photo attached) not only did not come to us to comment something about the hair but scolded the waiter who served the dishes quite harsh in our plain sight. I was astonished how mean he is to his own staff, who I heard are working for free being trainees and taking it as an honor to get experience from such a “respectable” restaurant. For me, it’s just bad, bad culture, wrong values and pure abuse. I just delivered my baby less than a year ago, so I was trying to get back in shape and count calories and out of curiosity I asked how many calories was in the set menu that we ordered. Waiter said that he doesn’t know, but he would ask the chef. Later waiter came back and said: “Chef told me to pass it on to you, it’s not my words, but this is what chef told me to tell you. Our food has half of the Mc Donald’s meal calories” This left me speechless, was the chef also insulting us for asking about his food? Waiter nevertheless apologized and said that they should know the amount of calories, but they do not know it unfortunately. I mean if that’s the case, couldn’t the chef just say so instead of trying to insult and humiliate the guests? This reaction from chef was very telling - guy is full of internal issues and unable to handle his emotions so that he just spits his frustration with aggression towards both staff members and customers. Very sad experience. Totally do not recommend. Even the food is not worth it.

20/08/2025: Dining here was a formidable experience, thanks above all to the staff (both service and kitchen), whose warm service and thoughtful presentation made us feel genuinely welcome. They went out of their way to accommodate food restrictions — we even found some of the gluten-free variations more flavorful than the originals. The fish smell of one dish was otherworldly, something I’d happily bottle as a perfume. Pricing is very fair for smaller bites like aperitifs, while the ambitious 15-course menu is certainly a commitment in every dimension (culinary, attention span, financial, ...). The mixed wine-juice pairing was a highlight, with juices adding a creativity and diversity that outshines many wine lists, even alongside some wonderfully unusual bottles.
