10/11/2024: A fun and active way to spend time with friends!

08/11/2024: Always a good atmosphere. I was here on a Friday evening and got really good and friendly service from a young guy, probably called Axel.

28/09/2024: Their cake etc. is not something they bake themselves, but get it from a central office. Too bad. It looked hugely mass produced. Service was below average. I asked a little about the food and coffee, and they didn't seem too keen to tell or talk about the food, quite the opposite in fact. I wanted to sit and work for a bit, but ended up walking instead. There was just a bit of a weird vibe in there.

30/10/2024: Most definitely, THE BEST Best Western hotel that I have ever stayed in. This place has contemporary style rooms, an awesome, fancy breakfast buffet in the mornings, and one hell of a restaurant! This place is equipped with a small workout area but has male/female sauna rooms that are the bomb, as they have showers and a bathroom on each side. The sauna works amazing, and everything seems to be fairly newly remodeled. The service is excellent, especially i n the restaurant. It's located right on the strip with all the shops, restaurants, and bars you can handle with different tastes to explore. Danish beers are excellent. Reminds me of a little Fort Collins, which is where I traveled from, or maybe Fort Collins is more like this place, Herning. In any case, a hidden gem for those seeking a quality experience traveling abroad. Highly recommended, as the scandic is nice, but has a train station and a bus station going through it. Considering the fact that both hotels adhere to power saving methods as most of Denmark does. So you won't find ceiling fans here, but if you ask the receptionist, they will kindly lend you a stand-up fan for your stay to help circulate air, and yes, the windows open. I am here for work, but it definitely felt like vacation, Fantastic job Hotel Eyde, keep it up!

09/11/2024: Namaste is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the service throughout the meal was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, from the perfectly spiced curries to the fresh naan bread and fragrant rice. The butter chicken was creamy and rich, and the lamb biryani was packed with incredible spices. You could taste the love and care put into each recipe. If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine with exceptional service, Namaste is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

12/09/2024: My review is for the cafe Kaffekanden and not the "to go" part, as there is no gluten-free food. The coffee pot is the coziest little gem of a cafe. - And then they have home-baked gluten-free buns and cake. I myself ate a really delicious "sandwich", which consisted of two small gf buns and a piece of gf chocolate cake. The bread was really good. In addition to that, there is ice cream, chocolate and cream buns with a marzipan base, but I have those to my credit the next time I pass by Silkeborg. I give a hearty recommendation from here

03/11/2024: This was my second time having dinner here, but it was not as great as the first time unfortunately. When arriving at our reservation on time, the table was not cleared out yet, which would not have been a problem, but since the rest of the night was not what we expected, this does matter in the overall experience. We choose the 13 course service and ordered cocktails. It took 40mins from when we sat at our table untill we got our first out of five servings. The rest of the service was just as slow, and it took all in all 3 hours from start to finish, even though we told them to bring the dessert fast, since we had other plans that night. The food was alright and the staff nice, but this slow experience left us tired and hungry, and was just not a great way to start you Friday night out.

15/11/2024: I have heard very well. The staff were nice enough, but they seemed a bit pressured. The food was okay but not impressive. People often sat and waited in groups for the food to be served.

28/09/2024: Delicious brunch, although a bit boring when you have been there several times. Beverages such as juice, coffee and tea, are not included in brunch, but are extremely expensive next to it. A large glass of juice and a cup of tea costs over DKK 100 😮😮😮

03/11/2024: Absolutely fantastic fish. Had agreed that we should have some quick and easy cafe food. But Luna surprised us very positively. We simply got two fish dishes from the very top shelf. Fish and chips are some of the best we've tasted - thank you for that. Very friendly and familiar service. Herewith our best recommendation

18/09/2024: Jeg fik et meget lækkert stjerneskud, min mand fik stegt flæsk med persillesovs, som også var fantastisk. Der var hurtig og god betjening og med udsigt over bygholm sø.
