22/08/2026: We ate at this restaurant several times this year. This time, the selection was very limited. The bread was soggy, the asparagus was just a tiny piece on the plate, and the yellow roe de chickpeas weren't great either. The garnish was minimal and unimaginative. They were also stingy with the dressing. The fried fish was okay. We had guests with us, to whom we raved about the food. All in all, we were disappointed with the value for money.

20/08/2026: Hey everyone, we went out for pizza again today. We regularly travel to Italy, but let me tell you, you don't need to go that far for pizza! The pizza at Don Juan in Ballen on Samsø is just as good as any pizza in Italy!! No wonder, since all the pizza chefs are from Italy. Friendly service, cold drinks, and always a spot for dogs – it couldn't be better. We're already looking forward to our next visit in May 2027!!

26/08/2026: Lovely atmosphere and a beautiful setting in the forest and the crooked houses. The lunch was absolutely fantastic and the service is top notch. We highly recommend visiting this place.
23/08/2026: Good service but incredibly long wait for hot chocolate which was never tasty at a staggering price, I could tell you how it could be done better, faster, while I was there there was a customer who couldn't wait and who had paid, but the bread, pastries and layer cake were super delicious, couldn't be done better.

I had a pan-fried plaice, fried to perfection. My husband had a fabulous truffle sauce for his beef. Potatoes cooked to perfection. Super delicious bread and homemade butter and a small aperitif to start. All in all, a truly excellent experience. Huge praise to the chef and the sweetest serving staff.
27/08/2026: Perfect lunch menu - v tasty and portion size spot on.
Friendly and smiley waitress - the bill was refreshingly expensive(!) although card machine was playing up requiring cash payment instead.

24/08/2026: Pizza Expressen makes really delicious pizzas!😍 Always good taste, crispy base and lots of filling. It's a sweet family business, where you are always greeted with good service and a smile. You can really feel that they care about their customers and the quality. Can definitely recommend Pizza Expressen! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had breakfast here and we all thought it was amazing. Not only the food, the whole atmosphere was so great, the owners where so kind. We will definitely come back soon. Would have given more stars 🌟 if that was possible.
01/08/2026: I just spent an overnight stay at Katelenas with my husband and invited 12 guests for brunch the next day. It was a lovely experience. There is a nice and relaxed atmosphere and we were all excited about the brunch. We highly recommend a visit there and the bread is fantastic.
