We first discovered the lunch menu and the great specials. Our absolute favorite, though, is the **All You Can Eat**. We love sushi, and especially the sushi here! 🍣 What we also really appreciate is the friendly and personal atmosphere. They always cater to requests, and the owner almost always takes a moment for a nice chat. You feel warmly welcomed every time. The restaurant is also really great for families with children. We've been there as a couple, and also with our four children, and we've always felt very comfortable. It's truly family-friendly. Another great option is to order food online for convenient takeaway and pick it up yourself. Ordering is simple, straightforward, and works perfectly every time – ideal for those days when you'd rather enjoy delicious sushi in the comfort of your own home. 🥢🍣 We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! ❤️ And we'll definitely be back again and again.

30/08/2026: Actually I give "only" 2 stars for the food because in my eyes price and quality don't go together very well. It's a matter of taste maybe. I'm not stingy, but I think the price for the food is high when you consider the settings and the amount you get. If it had been at a "real restaurant" in a quiet setting and waiters to serve, then okay - no problem. Even though the taste is actually good, this is at a food market, where you do all the work yourself and don't get any service as such...

01/08/2026: They had a lot of exciting dishes on the board above the bistro, but they didn't have a single one of them. At first I thought it might be a sign of quality that they could report being sold out, but when I asked again a few weeks later, it was exactly the same story. I don't know if they just have it up there to seem fancy? You can only go by the physical menu. On top of that, their tuna tartare cost 145 kr. for a very small portion, and the side dish was literally the world's driest chips. A disappointing experience.

15/09/2026: The food was delicious and the staff was very kind and professional. However, I was a bit unsatisfied with the waiting time. We booked at 18:30 and ordered directly. Got our dish at 19:40. Definitely some space for improvement on this aspect 🙏🏻

19/09/2026: Le Pagnol is really worth a visit! We had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The service, food and atmosphere were all top notch, and it is clear that love and soul are put into the place. The first thing you notice is the incredibly cozy and charming interior. The old-fashioned, rustic style with brick walls, vibrant warm lamps and the fine details create a very special atmosphere. Together with the French music in the background, it almost feels like stepping into a small, cozy restaurant in France. 🇫🇷 The food was fantastic and fully lived up to the good reviews you find about Le Pagnol. Everything seemed well thought out, tasty and served with great care. And the service was exactly as it should be — friendly, welcoming and professional, without it feeling stiff. It all simply comes together into a higher unity: the food, the service, the atmosphere, the music and the fantastic atmosphere. If you are in Aarhus and want to have an evening of genuine coziness, good food and French charm, Le Pagnol is highly recommended. A truly wonderful experience — we would love to come back! 🇫🇷❤️

09/09/2026: We had a delicious festive menu and everything tasted really good. The only thing that let us down was that the ice cream was crystallized, so the ice cream fell apart a little, but the taste was not bad. The starter with salmon roulade and side dishes was delicious and the fried beef fillet with crispy edges and side dishes was tender and tasted great and the dessert with the warm chocolate cake with liquid chocolate tasted delicious together with the ice cream and other side dishes. In addition, the service was top notch.

27/08/2026: With lengths Silkeborg's best sandwiches. Generally fast delivery, but when it's busy, there can of course be a little wait up to 20-25 minutes. The location means that many young people/school students come. Especially when they have breaks at their schools. It can sometimes give an intense atmosphere, which can be intimidating for some.

18/08/2026: During the Regatta bonfire in Silkeborg this past week (week 33 - 2026) we were looking for some lunch, and in our search for something that was supposed to be delicious, but not too heavy 😎 Our choice fell on the sandwich shop called Regatta, and we certainly didn't regret it... Yum, the ones we had chosen were super delicious... Good taste, delicious crispy bread, good dressing and crispy bacon, as well as juicy chicken. There were 5 of us, 2 of whom got light bread and the 3 others ordered coarse/dark. Both types were with super good taste and crispiness. Unfortunately, the choice of the 2 light ones was because the coarse ones were sold out. Too bad that they were already sold out at 2:30 p.m., when they are open for more than 2 hours. Many people in town also very often mean that more people come and shop. Otherwise a lovely experience 🤘 As you can see in the picture, they were also served on plates even though we were sitting out on the sidewalk.
