26/10/2024: The food doesn't taste good at all, I've got a thin stomach from all that spice. There are almost no Turkish dishes, it is very spicy, salty and oily food. Way too much noise inside when waiters are cleaning and fixing things. Don't think it's worth the money.

23/10/2024: Always a great place, whether you come to play or enjoy one of the many special beers. There is a really wonderful and cozy atmosphere!
18/10/2024: Very noisy place, fair enough that will come with many people in one place.
Works for some, but we were a group of 5 who found it very disturbing that on top of the noise from people there should also be music, we asked the staff nicely if we could turn the music down a bit... but no, that's how it was.

25/10/2024: Great place to come which is really a big plus for Randers as a city. They make a huge effort for the city center and help to create life in an otherwise stressed city centre, so a big thank you for that.
Cozy atmosphere with plenty of board games to choose from, delicious food at reasonable prices and an excellent selection of drinks - a big plus is that, among many other good things, there is Hancock, both as draft beer and as soft drink :-)
24/10/2024: Really cozy place. We ate some lunch and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere! We will definitely come again when we have more time..

12/09/2024: Venø Kro leverede en fremragende oplevelse, da jeg besøgte stedet i anledning af en familie-sammenkomst. Stemningen var hyggelig og indbydende i de charmerende lokaler, og maden var udsøgt. Menukortet tilbød et bredt udvalg af retter, så der var noget for enhver smag, både til voksne og børn. Jeg nød en saftig okse entrecôte med bearnaise og fries, som var perfekt tilberedt, mens andre ved bordet fik friske og velsmagende muslinger samt den populære Venøbøf, der fik stor ros. Servicen var venlig og opmærksom, hvilket gjorde aftenen endnu bedre. Venø Kro kan varmt anbefales!

29/10/2024: Jeg er desværre nød til at give Kohalen oplevelsen "Frygtelig". jeg har forståelse for at der travlt, og det er dejligt, men så skal man sige på telefonsvaren at man ikke tager telefonen. Har ventet mere en 30 minutter og hele tiden fået at vide at jeg er nummer 1 i køen. Det er simpelthen topdårlig service. Så drop Kohalen og spis et andet mere kundevenligt sted
29/09/2024: Wir hatten 3 verschiedene Smørrebrød einmal Scholle Kit Remoulade, einmal schweinebauch und einmal hünchensalat.
Hähnchen und schweinebauch waren superlecker, die Scholle war zu weit gebremsten (frittiert?) und auch zu salzig. Ansonsten super. Auch der Service war sehr gut und nett.
Das Ambiente war typisch dänisch. Die Toiletten hätten deutlich gepflegter sein können.

25/10/2024: Classic Danish bakery with delicious pastry specialties, bread and rolls. The “Birkes” puff pastry rolls are part of every holiday with us!
Even though the normal rolls can't keep up with German ones, they're still delicious, even if you don't feel like eating bread or baked rolls.
15/09/2024: Great bakery, great selection for a perfect start to the day.

21/10/2024: Great little coffee spot. Best when the sun is shining and you can sit outside. Main issue is there’s usually only one person working. If three people come in close to each other, things move very slow.
05/10/2024: Uninspiring filter coffee and refrigerated pastries.
They use pastries from Berta and coffee from Nomad, both excellent producers in their own right. However it’s not appropriately used at Monk.
It seems as though Monk prefers to focus on upcharging and the “vibe” rather than the actual products.

16/08/2024: I love board game cafes in Denmark in general. In this board game café it costs 35 dk to reserve a table (per person). I could usually choose any game and play it with friends. There is even a shelf where you can buy games on site. There are some snacks and drinks. The staff is friendly, speaks English, among other things, and, when asked, will check whether a snack contains certain foods/allergens.
