14/08/2025: Really delicious food that tasted fantastic, fresh ingredients, made from scratch. Very attentive, friendly & smiling staff, who even asked if our dog needed water. We sat at tables/benches set, on our skins, under a parasol, which can do more than shade from the sun, namely a small rain shower. Definitely a visit

31/07/2025: We had a awesome surf and turf sandwitch. a double burger and a icelandic ipa called ulfur. Really good food.

14/10/2025: Large delicious buffet for every taste. It is supposed to be the largest restaurant in Denmark with almost room for 500 guests. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Restaurant Flammen delivers a really solid experience, especially if you appreciate a large selection and friendly service. The staff takes their time with the guests, and the service feels both welcoming and efficient, you quickly feel welcome, regardless of whether you come as a family, couple or a larger group. The buffet is impressively wide with something for almost all taste buds. The meat selection is top-notch, juicy roast beef, roast pork, turkey, spare ribs and several types of preparations, all freshly prepared and constantly replenished. In addition, there is a good selection of salads, potatoes and sauces, so you can easily put together your own plate. The dessert table and soft ice cream are the icing on the cake, especially for those with a sweet tooth. All in all, Flammen is a place where you get a lot for your money. It is not gourmet, but a cozy and satisfying dining experience, where both the food and the service make you leave full and happy.

11/10/2025: I was looking forward to the visit.🤗 There was a good steak in the steak sandwich with gravy. Unfortunately the gravy tasted WAY too much of food coloring. 140 kr for this meal is WAY too expensive. Sorry. It's not something I would go for again. 🥴

06/09/2025: The tables are a bit close together, but really cozy, the owner (I think) sat on his knees to take orders, great advice on wine for the food The main course was not coordinated with the starter, it was a bit tedious, I had just started the starter when the main course was served 😪😪

16/08/2025: The most beautiful place, really good food and the sweetest owners. It can't be said more concisely and precisely. We have been treated so wonderfully by Louise and Jacob. Their open sandwiches for lunch and their evening menu are really well put together with both taste and visual expression that play really well together. Their drinks are on the fun side when it comes to the alcohol percentage, which is a rarity in other places. Only the best ingredients and liquids are used. But that is certainly not reflected in the price, as they are extremely competitive on both wine, drinks and food. As a small footnote, the place has the absolute best location if you want to see a beautiful sunset. Many thumbs up from us.

30/07/2025: I just moved to Randers, and discovered this fabulous place! The butter chicken and mango lassi were perfect, and the service was extra friendly.... I'll be back!

12/10/2025: Super nice hotel. The bartender at the queen's garden was absolutely wonderful and even invented is to test a cocktail he was developing. Sound proof rooms and soft beds. Great view of the cathedral and city. The staff was attentive and nice.

11/10/2025: Loved this atmospheric hotel in Aarhus. Great location and very helpful staff. Breakfast was ample, fresh, and served in an airy light-filled room. Our room was spacious and clean. Good location in center of town and walking distance from Aarhus’ wonderful museums. Note that if you have a car there is a large public parking garage a short walk from the hotel where you can park for a fraction of the valet cost. Staff will show you how to get there. Will stay here again.

19/09/2025: Great coffee, ice and beers. Did not try the sandwiches, but they should be good as well. The staff was also kind. Music was good, but as I was there at the end of the day in the off-season, I was as good as the only customer, so the atmosphere is probably better when it is slightly more busy.

22/09/2025: Very fresh and delicious food; the salmon burger is especially recommended. It's excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and speak German; if something runs out, they'll make something fresh immediately upon request. The takeaway option is highly recommended, allowing you to enjoy it right by the harbor.

17/09/2025: We were in Lemvig today on our fourth holiday in Denmark. We quickly searched Google Maps for a good fish restaurant. The food was excellent. The fish was super tasty and fresh. Highly recommended.
