02/01/2025: So good. Nice food. Roast pork as it should be. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/01/2025: This is a review of the ordered New Year's menu. All the food we got tasted fantastic, unfortunately it was all overshadowed by the lack of proper coordination. We were missing several of the elements we should have had with our dishes. The allagen dish we had ordered was not properly marked and the buckets were mixed with the buckets that were not allagen. There was only one instruction on how the general right should be made. When we called to get clarification, they didn't have the opportunity to come out with what we were missing (understandably), but we were offered to come by and have a cup of coffee. However, we live three hours away and were only on holiday, so not a compensation we would get anything out of. When we pointed this out, there was nothing more to do and they simply apologized. We ended up having to stand and make some extra elements for the food ourselves, so that it was complete. The instructions weren't sufficient, we followed it to the letter to the minute, but the meat was still almost raw in the middle even though we filled the given times for a medium steak.

19/03/2025: Juicy burger of a really high class. Difficult. Felt like "the real thing". Highly recommended for a real burger experience.

22/02/2025: Restaurant with good acoustics, food and view. Bought a 3 course menu with wine for DKK 1000 per person. And snacks. And all the wine you could drink. 👍 The food tasted good, it's some good ingredients. And they ask if you want more salmon 👍 I wasn't too keen on the red wine for the menu, a Pinot Noir soil from Bulgaria 2021. 👎 Cava and their white wine were available super delicious with the food 👍 Dishes could well be more exciting, would not say it is a gourmet experience in that area. But at least the taste is there 👍 The place has very good acoustics, pleasant lighting and you sit well in their chairs👍 Very clean and nice👍 The service was good from the waiter's side, he went a lot of wines and was very conversational to the point 👍 Their wine cellar is absolutely insanely good. It is almost completely unique to see so many rare wines in one place👍👍👍 Easy to park outside 👍 The prices are somewhat on the expensive end (DKK 760 for a large steak menu) but they always full house so it must be the right price to eat there 🤔

12/09/2024: Venø Kro leverede en fremragende oplevelse, da jeg besøgte stedet i anledning af en familie-sammenkomst. Stemningen var hyggelig og indbydende i de charmerende lokaler, og maden var udsøgt. Menukortet tilbød et bredt udvalg af retter, så der var noget for enhver smag, både til voksne og børn. Jeg nød en saftig okse entrecôte med bearnaise og fries, som var perfekt tilberedt, mens andre ved bordet fik friske og velsmagende muslinger samt den populære Venøbøf, der fik stor ros. Servicen var venlig og opmærksom, hvilket gjorde aftenen endnu bedre. Venø Kro kan varmt anbefales!

18/03/2025: Vi fejrede 18 års fødselsdag. Der sødeste personale som man kunne ønske sig. Sikke en service! Dejlig smagfuldt dele mad.

18/03/2025: Vi havde en fantastisk aften og oplevelse. Personalet var behagelige, hurtige og dygtige. Stemningen var virkelig god og afslappet. Maden var helt perfekt og upåklagelig. Ja selv ventetiderne var afmålte og bidrog positivt til oplevelsen. Alt i alt ingen finger at sætte. Vi sammensatte selv vores middag, og set er at anbefale hvis man har en tydelig ide om hvad man gerne vil have eller ikke vil have, men vi kunne se at de sammesatte menuer også så interessante ud.

15/03/2025: Crispy base, perfectly melted cheese and fresh toppings – this pizza was nothing short of amazing! The flavors were well balanced and every bite was a delight. High quality and genuine Italian craftsmanship. 5/5 stars - I will definitely be back!

07/03/2025: We come here often, and also have a reservation lying around in a few weeks. Unfortunately, the last visit was not my best experience at Bistroteket. My Ribeye, which came with Bearnaise sauce, was served with a nice brown sauce, which was very nicely prepared at the table, but with the result that the Ribeye meat taste was lost and the Bearnaise sauce was no longer necessary. I'm just saying OB, because it was done with the best intentions. I would like to keep my meat and sights dose my Bearnaise sauce in the right amounts without also having another sauce on my steak at the same time. Otherwise, the food for my 2 companions was absolutely fine!

12/01/2025: It is expensive. With those prices, you should also be able to expect the shop to be clean, i.e. the tables are cleared, wiped down and the floor is clean. It all appeared dingy and dirty.

02/01/2025: Very courteous and friendly staff! The selection of cakes is large and everything we tried was delicious! Despite being relatively busy, the orders were processed routinely and without stress. Absolute recommendation when visiting this beautiful city!

07/03/2025: We love this place. Delicious coffee and cake and other snacks. Sit inside or outside. There are also souvenirs to buy. Staff very friendly. Toilets available. Parking spaces in front of the door. The coffee is very tasty. We go there at least twice every holiday. We also bought a cup and took it with us. We always enjoy being there. Always a very good experience. We would never be disappointed.

28/01/2025: A great cafe, absolute recommendation! Delicious, fresh food and drinks (also vegan)! Everything was super tasty and beautifully prepared. It was quite crowded and loud where we were, but otherwise it was really great!

06/01/2025: We had ordered food with delivery. We called 30 minutes after the agreed time to find out where they went. "The food is on its way" and another 30 minutes passed before they appeared. So over 1 hour late compared to agreed delivery time. Answer: And it's only fair that you're busy. However, we had ordered the food in the morning, so we had been out in good time. And we also had guests visiting. :)

12/03/2025: Nice place. Cozy atmosphere, quiet and calm. And even though it was busy and the staff was "running" around, we got quick service and the food came (surprisingly) quickly! Delicious food and a large selection of beers... Thanks for the food!

21/08/2024: Vi fik baren anbefalet af en lokal på færgen. Vi var der alene den første time, ovenpå aftensmaden, så solnedgangen, og det var helt perfekt. Gode drinks, super stemning, og et perfekt view, som man nærmest kun får på sydøstasiatiske restauranter.

04/12/2024: Wasn't greeted, didn't get "overflighted" by an employee, my husband speaks English and approached an employee who didn't understand English. We also had the experience of a very angry employee who reprimanded us because we were 4 tea drinkers who had a jug of hot water (and had emptied it at the table) About the fact that it should be on the buffet...

02/12/2024: Stopped by and had Crunch (brunch) with a friend. Surprisingly many people on a Monday morning. The food was really delicious with plenty of options to eat your fill. Can be highly recommended 😊

09/03/2025: Super cozy place. Cool books, a delicious tapas plate and nice stamp coffee. Great recommendation!
