16/08/2025: The most beautiful place, really good food and the sweetest owners. It can't be said more concisely and precisely. We have been treated so wonderfully by Louise and Jacob. Their open sandwiches for lunch and their evening menu are really well put together with both taste and visual expression that play really well together. Their drinks are on the fun side when it comes to the alcohol percentage, which is a rarity in other places. Only the best ingredients and liquids are used. But that is certainly not reflected in the price, as they are extremely competitive on both wine, drinks and food. As a small footnote, the place has the absolute best location if you want to see a beautiful sunset. Many thumbs up from us.

05/09/2025: A place worth experiencing at least once in your life! Fantastically good food, nice atmosphere and good waiters. We were a large group of people, and everything was ready when we arrived. The grill buffet with "all inclusive" was a hit, and everyone found something good to eat and drink. The counters are full of good side dishes, different types of potatoes, salads, beans, and whatever your stomach is hungry for. Lots of super tasty meat, with two employees cutting it up along the way and giving you what you want on your plate ☺️ Also some other food for e.g. the children. Clean and neat throughout the place ☺️ Really worth the trip 🥰

28/08/2025: It was truly incredibly beautiful up there! It's definitely recommended to go there on a clear, sunny day. P.S. The way up is only accessible via stairs, and you only get to the top of the lighthouse by climbing through a very small door (or rather a hatch).

10/08/2025: The best falafel in town, Aghous. Try it, you'll never forget the taste. It's better than many shops that sell delicious, cheap falafel sandwiches.

02/08/2025: A sloppy and lazy adult boy, who served me a culturally enriching platter for 119 kroner on July 23 at 11:40 a.m. (see pictures), was so sweet that he added a lovely long hair to the food. Mmmm delicious. You give one on the house next time😎 otherwise I give one👊

19/08/2025: Die Fiskehallen Thyborøn sind ein beliebtes Fischrestaurant direkt am kleinen Hafen von Thyborøn. Gäste können hier einen wunderschönen Blick auf die anliegenden Fischerboote und das Meer genießen. Mein kulinarisches Highlight war für mich eindeutig die Fish’n Chips in „Seidlers“ Bierteig mit hausgerührter Tartarsoße. Außen goldbraun und knusprig, innen zart und saftig – dazu die frische, aromatische Soße: ein Gericht, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann,auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut. Die Kombination aus authentischer Hafenatmosphäre, frischem Fisch und freundlichem Service macht die Fiskehallen zu einem Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt. Wer in Thyborøn unterwegs ist, sollte sich diesen Genuss mit Blick auf Meer und Boote nicht entgehen lassen.

24/06/2025: Restaurant Mezza is one of those places where you don't quite know if you've come for the food, the atmosphere or just to try something other than gravy and potatoes – but you end up being a little happy about it all. The food is spicy, rich and comes in small delicious bites that you can't pronounce, but still eat with great enthusiasm. There's hummus that tastes better, meat with juice and power, and a kind of bulgur salad that you didn't know you needed. It's like a party in the Middle East – just with Danish eating habits and a little more sense of order (like that). The atmosphere is wonderfully informal. There are blankets, lamps and that warmth that can't be bought – it just has to be there. And it is. You feel welcome and a little exotic at the same time, which is very nicely done in Herning. The service? It's sweet like baklava, but sometimes just as sticky. The dishes don't necessarily come in order – but they come with a smile, and that counts too. You sit and look around a bit, think "did we order this?" and then answer yourself with a happy "it doesn't matter!" The price is reasonable, the food is good, and the whole experience is a bit like a Middle Eastern hug – warm, round and a bit unpredictable. All in all: Mezza is not quite Brdr. Price – but it doesn't try to be. It's cozy, fun, tasty and a bit quirky. And that's actually part of the charm.

01/09/2025: Ejvinds is a centrally located café with plenty of space. It offers sandwiches, bread, cakes, and winerbrød. The winerbrød I had was okay, but not amazing. The sandwich was twice as big as I needed.

24/08/2025: Very tasty ice cream, and the milkshakes are also highly recommended. The ice cream doesn't taste artificial, and the portions are huge. The employee we had even spoke German.
