27/03/2025: Gift cards are a waste of money We have received gift cards for a stay for two people from my wife's family. We have contacted the issuer to book the stay. Was told they are booked for the next 6 months. What a cheating undertaking. Don't buy a gift card from Hotel Knap, because they wouldn't let you use it. Waste of money.

15/02/2025: Dejlig oplevelse hos Brasseriet i Gilleleje! Vi nød en lækker 5-retters menu, hvor hver ret var smukt præsenteret og lavet med kvalitetsråvarer. Smagene var velafstemte, og man kunne virkelig mærke kærligheden til madlavningen. Betjeningen var imødekommende og opmærksom, hvilket gjorde oplevelsen endnu bedre. Stemningen i restauranten var hyggelig og afslappet – et perfekt sted til en skøn aften. Kan varmt anbefales! Pour nos amis touristes francais qui viennent à Gilleleje: Très belle expérience au restaurant Brasseriet à Gilleleje Nous avons dégusté un délicieux menu en 5 services, où chaque plat était magnifiquement présenté et préparé avec des ingrédients de qualité. Les saveurs étaient parfaitement équilibrées, et on sentait vraiment la passion pour la cuisine. Le service était attentionné et chaleureux, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’ambiance du restaurant était conviviale et détendue – l’endroit idéal pour une belle soirée. Je recommande vivement !

09/04/2025: Nice little restaurant that wins in 3 areas: Price, indoor seating and service. Perfect for a date or with the kids (my 3 year old boys love their pizza). The people working there are very pleasant and service-minded. The price is cheaper than a shawarma - and it's made by real Italians🤌 Plus it's easy to find parking, plus it's close to the metro for those without a car. Easy choice for a quick dinner out with the kids. (A good Italian iced tea, by the way).

01/04/2025: A disappointing experience - dry pizza and soulless falafel I had been looking forward to a simple but tasty meal, but unfortunately I was badly disappointed. The pizza base was dry like cardboard, without any crispiness or juiciness. The tomato sauce was almost non-existent and the cheese tasted like nothing. It all felt like a rushed afterthought, rather than a lovingly made pizza. The falafel sandwich wasn't much better. The falafels were dry and crumbly instead of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There was barely enough dressing, which made the whole experience even more dry and boring. Two pcs. tomatoes and very dry bread. All in all a very disappointing experience with the only memorable thing being how bland the food was. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

06/04/2025: Indifferent and sluggish service. Not a single smile. As the menus must be picked up, there is no soda. When this is pointed out, they state that there is no more Coke. No apology.

23/03/2025: Best lunch I've had in ages. A stones throw from the bustle of Nyhaven but a world away in terms of quality. Amazing food in tasteful surroundings. Wish we had found this venue earlier in our trip as we would certainly have returned. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.
