24/06/2025: Super cozy and beautiful place. Very fantastic view, high ceilings, delicious decor and great food..

22/06/2025: Vi var på familieudflugt med Bådfarten i forbindelse med min mors 80 års fødselsdag og stod af båden ved den smukke Aldershvile Slotspavillion. Vi havde bestilt kaffe og kage, og da vi ankom, var der dækket op til os på terrassen med den skønneste udsigt over Bagsværd sø. På trods af at de ventede et stort bryllup, fik vi en utrolig gæstfri og nærværende betjening af den sødeste værtinde/servitrice, der tog sig god tid til at fortælle om stedet og vise os de smukke lokaler. Og kokken der havde lavet den lækreste, bagte cheesecake til os kom også ud og fortalte om kagen og hyggesludrede. Da vi skulle afsted igen tog den søde værtinde et smukt familiefoto af os på trappen foram Slotspavillionen. Et dejligt minde om et virkelig dejligt besøg.

31/08/2025: I saw some very good smorgasbords and sandwiches. We were impressed by the quality of the food here. The service immediately switched to English almost perfectly and was extremely friendly. We always enjoy eating here!

31/08/2025: We were recommended the cheese market and have used it several times to buy sandwiches when we have guests over, really delicious freshly spread sandwiches and at an affordable price, From now on we will buy sandwiches here and add our own herring and cheese, so it is affordable to have guests over and no leftovers to throw away👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

14/09/2025: Imagine eating in an old, dusty motocross clubhouse, where the burgers are cooked with the passion of a Michelin chef and served with the kindness of a Buddhist monk. It’s a one-man show, and you can taste the care and pride. The setting is raw and authentic, the portions reasonable, and the atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Copenhagen. Unique!

17/09/2025: Beautiful restaurant where we had "frokost", e.g. lunch, a Monday end of August 2025. They serve the typical Danish sandwiches with various toppings, freshly and continuously produced by a brigade of young cooks. The place is located above the opera garage which you can reach via a "greenhouse" surrounding the staircase and elevator. Service is swift and courteous with some memory losses from time to time. Highly recommended

01/08/2025: Beautiful view of the water. Relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The service was so relaxed, the employees practically fell asleep. It's not always easy to get off the water bus, as it's often full and few people get off here.

22/07/2025: Fantastic food and service from Mad & Andet I celebrated my 30th birthday and didn't want the day to just pass by quietly. That's why I decided to make it something special - with a party, music, dancing and, not least, delicious food. Since I've spent a lot of time at the golf club and eaten at the restaurant before, I contacted Louise and Jonas to see if they could provide barbecue food for the party. They did - and it was a HUGE hit! The menu consisted of whole roast suckling pig, grilled sausages, cream potatoes and various delicious salads. The food was really tasty and received high praise from all guests. I highly recommend Louise and Jonas for summer parties and other catering events with barbecue food. They provided both good food and great service. P.S. If you want to please Jonas when he's grilling in 28 degree heat, I recommend renting a slush-ice machine - then he'll have something to cool down with 😉

02/11/2025: Nov 2025. Dinner Saturday night. Reason for 4 stars is that you stink of deep-fried food when you go home - it makes the place seem on par with a cheap place. The decor doesn't quite match the delicious meat you get. The specialty is steak on lava stone that you grill yourself. Nice way to eat. We got Sasha meat - it was really tender, delicious and tasty. Good fries, potatoes and sauce. They have other dishes. Nice serving staff. Nice big place but still OK acoustics. Fast service. I would have focused much more on meat and lava stone, top quality potatoes/fries, tomatoes for the stone, nicer decor and no stink of deep-fried food. The quality of the meat and the coziness of grilling yourself can well carry a different 'class' on all parameters.

22/02/2026: We had a good sirloin steak with side dishes. Sweet and friendly service. The place is not particularly cozy, too big.

21/02/2026: Always good to come by and eat. Especially when you can redeem a voucher from this year's Christmas competition. Good selection of beers and the spareribs are tender. Their burger is also good. The service is friendly and attentive. She even suggested that there was a Christmas competition where you could win various discounts.

12/12/2025: Today's sandwich was a pork roast sandwich. Dry and boring bread. I've never had such a dry pork roast before. The skins weren't crispy either, but completely soft.

08/11/2025: Today, Resturant Luna at the harbor in Lemvig should have reviewed their burger. Arrived at about 1:00 PM and was immediately shown nice seats with a great view of the fjord, when the rest of the party had arrived, the staff was very attentive and ordered food for 5 people at exactly 1:23 PM. The food was served together and hot at exactly 1:42 PM. First impression is that the burger looks very appetizing and delicious and radiates fresh ingredients. The bun is a delicious brioche bun at the better end that tastes great, both the bottom bun and the top bun are smeared with some mayo that doesn't hurt. Inside the burger there are home-pickled sour red onions and they taste really good and are very sour. In addition, there are some home-pickled cucumbers that taste great with the red onions. In addition, we find fresh tomato and some baby lettuce. Inside the burger there is some homemade tomato chutney that may / may not do anything good for the burger, but it is distinctive. I think the steak is 120-140 grams and the meat tastes good and is of good quality. When we ordered I asked the waiter how the steak was cooked and I was told it was pink/medium “super that’s how it should be I thought” unfortunately the steak was cooked through, not as well done as a shoe sole, but still cooked through. So it was sad. A nice size rustic fries were served and they were superb, deep fried perfectly so hard on the outside and mushy on the inside, a homemade aioli was served with it which was a bit neutral, it could have been stronger, but rather hurt someone. When you call yourself a restaurant I also expect the staff to come and ask if the food is satisfactory, but this did not happen. Gave this dish DKK 179.- for lunch, which is plenty of it, good ingredients and a beautiful view. You get 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for the food

16/06/2025: På listen over jazzsteder i København finder man ikke Hvide Lam, som er det eneste sted i byen, som præsenterer jazz alle ugens dage, og har har gjort det i mere end 30 år. Her finder man både unge løver og kendte jazzfolk i løbet af ugen i forskellige konstellationer. Et sted, som både frekventeres af et stampublikum, unge i byen og turister, som tilfældigt kommer forbi. Uformel atmosfære, hvor man hurtigt kommer i snak med andre i lokalet og er tæt på musikken. Hvide Lam er et af byens ældste værtshuse, som har eksisteret lige siden Københavns borbardement i 1807. Lammet er ikke rygefrit område.

07/09/2025: I had the opportunity to try the cube-shaped pistachio-filled croissant and the cinnamon roll. They were delicious and fresh, and I definitely recommend them if you like this kind of food.
