18/07/2026: Food is good and reasonably priced. BUT THE BEER? The most expensive draft beer I’ve had in Copenhagen. And it’s the most common and cheapest beer brand on the market. Go to a 5-star hotel and it will be cheaper.

14/07/2026: I really enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent, and the dish I chose also included access to the salad bar. The service was fast and very attentive. The only downside was the price, which I found a bit high. Even so, it's a place that's well worth a visit.

13/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic experience at Ferdinans steakhouse. Me and the boys were served by the sweetest and most beautiful waitress (Signe). Will definitely go back again to meet her again.

13/06/2026: The food was good, but the man who served us was very arrogant and didn't seem very interested in helping us. He just put the food on the counter and left, and the place was empty when we were there. I don't think I would eat there again.

28/03/2026: The place: Located in the Dianalund center and has plenty of space for guests. There is music that is played on a phone... (at least that's what it sounded like) with advertisements and everything. We had to choose a table ourselves and here the choice fell on a table facing the center. The table tilted a lot, so when we got our soda, I had to hold a foot on it so that nothing was spilled. My daughter wanted Nuggets with fries. They were not that expensive, but definitely not homemade either. Otherwise quite nice for the price. I ordered a veal fillet and I asked if the sauces were homemade and the waiter couldn't answer that. So he went straight to the kitchen. He came back and said that the pepper sauce was homemade. So I had to have it with my steak. He didn't ask how I wanted it. So I had to just throw it to him across the counter from where I was sitting that it had to be medium rare. Our food arrived, the pictures were taken right after arrival. The sauce was very hot, as if it had just come out of the microwave. I could put a potato in it without getting any sauce on it. The steak was small and definitely not anywhere near medium rare. It tasted ok, but not a particularly good piece of meat. The greens were something that had been heated in a pot of water and definitely not very appetizing. There was no fried crust on it. It could have been delicious if it had just been turned in the pan where the steak had been. The potatoes tasted pretty good, but once you buy something... they are hard to ruin. The price versus what you receive does not match. I think we have to go all the way down to under 200 kr. for such a main course. I am disappointed and will not be coming back.

02/07/2026: Excellent pizza (much better than the place across the street where I went a few years ago), very friendly staff. The price is also perfectly reasonable considering the quality.

29/06/2026: Probably one of the best pizza restaurants in North Jutland. We are happy to drive +60km to eat their pizza. Will definitely come again.

08/06/2026: My 10-year-old son and I were spending our last night in Denmark before flying back home to the US. We picked Hindsgaul because we wanted to stay somewhere a little different, and the castle setting felt like the perfect fairytale ending to our trip. The hotel was beautiful, located in the nice quiet area with a lot of deer walking around. Since we didn’t have much time there, the actual reason why I am writing this review is amazing Maria at reception. After overhearing some guests talking about ghosts, my son got himself pretty worked up and couldn’t fall asleep. We ended up wandering down to the lobby, where Maria was working that night. She was so kind and took the time to chat with him and reassure him that there was nothing to be scared of. She even suggested warm sweet milk, saying that would help him to feel less anxious, it was so sweet of her. My son had never tried that before, but he happily gave it a shot. And somehow it worked! He slept like a baby Then the next morning our taxi didn’t show up. We needed to leave around 5am to catch a train to the airport, and I was starting to panic a little. Maria quickly realized we weren’t going to make it if we waited for another taxi, grabbed the car keys, and drove us to the station herself. Good that the station was close, that’s another big plus to add for the location of the hotel Because of Maria, we made our train, made our flight, and got home with no problems! We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and it’s rare to meet someone who goes so far out of their way to help guests. We were only there for one night, but Maria made the maximum to help us feel completely at home and taken care of. So I am sending a huge THANKS to Maria, and Hindsgavl Castle for ending our Denmark trip on such a great note❤️ Will definitely recommend the place to others and hopefully one day I will get a chance to come back and spend a bit more time there 😊

09/07/2026: Great place to come if you are really into beer!! It’s a modern retro joint with a huge selection of beer, 61+ apparently! You can try different things and it’s a good way to find something you like.

21/07/2026: I visited this cafe today on my way from the beach. I love its convenient spot, matcha latte was lovely, they also do genuine raw vegan cakes free of refined sugar and gluten which I appreciated a lot, customer service is excellent, friendly and smiley staff. Will definitely return on my next visit of Copenhagen :)
