26/12/2025: An absolute must-visit when in Sønderho: a wide variety of shakes, sandwiches, and other delicious treats. Even under the busiest conditions, the staff are exceptionally friendly and cheerful. Prices are reasonable, and card payments are accepted without any problems. In summer, be sure to try the iced coffee. The sandwiches are also highly recommended.

18/12/2025: I'm thrilled with the "warm Hyldeblomstsaft" (a type of sweet rum). The boutique next door is definitely worth a visit (sweets, rum, hygge decor).

14/10/2025: One of the most reliably delicious bakeries in Copenhagen! Their kanelsnurre is my all time favourite, ESPECIALLY when it is fresh from the oven- the sugar caramelises in way that is addictive and perfectly balanced with the dough. I would also recommend their foccacia and madbrød which I’ve had in the past. The staff are always really nice and helpful too. My favourite way to enjoy is by taking a nice long walk through Assistens after you purchase :)

09/12/2025: I was invited to lunch on Sunday at "Silberbauers bistro". That place gets all my best recommendations 👌 The food was absolutely fantastic and the wine perfectly matched 👌. The service/staff was competent, professionally skilled and created a friendly/cozy atmosphere throughout the restaurant 👌. It's an experience I'll never forget ‼️. THANK YOU 🌞

02/11/2025: The initiated are aware that Copenhagen offers a wide variety of French restaurants: From soulless tourist traps to themed venues that drown you in images of Eiffel towers, baguettes and mustached-beret-wearing mannequins. Then there are the upper-class-upper-price range-mediocre-produce places that look like the place to be, but rarely keep what their polished looks promise. Silberbauer is the opposite of that. Discreet and understated on the outside, full of life and buzz on the inside. Though they fall in the same category as most other restaurants - namely that the starters outshine the mains - all dishes that I tried were the best I’ve had all year. However, the undisputed star was the seared/grilled(?) bone marrow with bread (see photos). The taste was so rich, it actually made the main dish (gnocchi ragout) pale in comparison in terms of flavour. Pro tip: Order it as a pre-desert after the main! My only regret I have from my visit is, that I didn’t order more of them. Four stars on the vibe because it was lunch and I’d imagine dinner time is more lively.

21/12/2025: Disappointing experience on 12/20 at 5:30 PM (they didn't close until 7 PM) My husband, our son and I have been Christmas shopping and then decide to end the day by going in and getting mulled wine and apple slices at Penny Lane on Boulevarden. When we enter we are greeted by sweet and smiling staff. We are directed to a table and we place an order. My son gets a raspberry slice and a hot cocoa. My husband and I get our mulled wine. We sit patiently and when 15 minutes have passed I ask if our apple slices are on their way soon. - they are not homemade apple slices so that is not what is causing the wait. The girl at the counter says that they are on their way. Another 5 minutes pass and we are seated so that we can look directly into their kitchen where the food is being prepared. We can't see a shadow of the apple slices there. There is a good atmosphere among the staff, they laugh, eat bread and actually seem quite indifferent to us and that we have been waiting so long. There were a maximum of 10-15 customers in the store and four at work, so it was not because of busyness. I go up again and approach the staff, and only then does she come in more directly and ask where our apple slices are going. They have apparently forgotten a timer on the oven so they were burnt, I was told. Only then do they get the freezer bag with apple slices and heat them up. I ask for two new mulled wine as these have become cold, which we also get - we had hardly drunk the ones we returned. At 6:10 pm what we have ordered finally arrives, but what was supposed to be pleasant actually ended up with us being irritated and frustrated and actually just wanting to leave. The young man who took our order said he was sorry for the wait. We left, and there was no goodbye or anything like that. I have had a shop in Aalborg for more than 13 years, and I generally don't like people reporting via such platforms as it can unjustifiably harm a company, but I'm fine with this. I was in the café as late as the day before Friday morning eating breakfast with a friend. We do this often. There has been nothing to complain about. However, we have agreed that we will take a break from Penny Lane for the time being.

18/01/2026: This. Is really a gem when it comes to fast food! I especially like their roll kebab. Super nice and honest people. Forgot a bag with quite a few coins in it. They found it and hid it for me. 5 out of 5 stars overall 😍
