24/07/2025: There are very few restaurants like Tambayan where you feel like you are visiting family rather than being a customer. The care and joy that they put into the food, and the place, makes it outstanding. The food is excellent, my only challenge is choosing what to eat if you are alone, so I highly recommend bringing friends and family so you can share everything on the menu :).

20/05/2025: Unfortunately, we were a little late for breakfast, but the little extras that are always available to order more than made up for it. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back on our next visit to Copenhagen!

15/06/2025: One of the most different food experiences I've had – Ferment is something very special – and I learned a lot along the way Ferment is not just a restaurant – it's an experience. You can feel it when you walk in and are greeted by Peter, the owner of the place. He is an honest, listening and creative enthusiast who has clearly dedicated his life to food and especially to his very own experimental Asian fusion cuisine. And it works. I have never tasted ramen like the one I had here. The broth has been cooking and developing for over 10 years (!), and you can taste it – it is deep, intense and full of umami. Perhaps the best "non-ramen" I have ever had. The tuna was a wild experience – soft and creamy inside, but at the same time with a crispy layer that gave just the right contrast. And all the fish dishes were right on target. Every bite had depth and surprised in a good way. This is not a place where you get a classic sushi plate and go home. It's a play with taste, texture and fermentation. So if you are curious about food and dare to try something new – then you MUST go to Ferment. It's not for everyone, but it is for those who dare. And then there is Peter. He IS the place. His presence, joy, love and energy spread throughout the room and are reflected in both the atmosphere and the food. You feel really welcome – and you can feel that soul is put into every single detail. I will definitely come again – and recommend Ferment with great love.❤️

The menu is extensive, the service was good and extremely friendly and the ambience gave the warm feeling of a local establishment serving neighbors and friends. Not fancy…but you will have a very good, inexpensive and enjoyable meal!

12/07/2025: Tucked away down a small side street, Restaurant Johansens is a beautiful and cozy spot that’s well worth seeking out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly polite and attentive. When the food arrived, each dish was nicely presented and explained in detail. I had their stjerneskud, which was delicious and generously portioned — I couldn’t have eaten another bite afterwards. My girlfriend ordered the tartare, which she found decent, though not particularly memorable. Another person in our group had the chicken salad, which they said was quite good, while the open-faced potato sandwich turned out to be a bit disappointing, with underwhelming potatoes and a rather bland overall impression. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation, but I’d recommend booking in advance if you plan to go — it seemed like the kind of place that could get quite busy at times. All in all, it was a very pleasant dining experience in lovely surroundings. While it may not reach the absolute top tier of gourmet dining, it’s certainly a place I’d recommend for a nice meal in Kolding.

28/06/2025: Butter lamb was INCREDIBLE, full of flavor, creamy with the perfect little bit of spices for a delicious curry! Reasonable price, especially since it includes rice. Garlic naan was also very good, you could really taste the garlic.

08/06/2025: We had the most wonderful evening at à terre. The dishes were creative and tasty, with the hot snack and dessert – especially the fresh lemon fromage-like palate cleanser – as clear highlights. Their diverse and exquisite cheese board was a pleasant surprise and is a must for any cheese lover. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was both attentive and personal. A complete gastronomic experience – à terre is definitely a future candidate for a Michelin star. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a first-class dining experience!

29/05/2025: Tuvimos una noche perfecta. Súper servicio y un menú que vale la pena probar. Definitivamente mejor que muchos de los restaurantes Michelin * en la ciudad que hemos probado. Una ventaja adicional era su carta de vinos. Muchas excelentes opciones a precios razonables de botella que le dan una alternativa al maridaje de vinos. Ya recomiendo este restaurante a nuestra red y volveremos.
