06/01/2026: We stayed close to this café, so we visited it regularly during our time in Copenhagen. We tried several cafés in the city, and Kaffevaerk definitely ranks among the top two. The latte is excellent, both with regular milk and oat milk – great foam, perfect temperature, and a really rich coffee flavor nicely mixed with milk. Highly recommended to anyone passing by 😊

20/11/2025: Really good coffee. There's nothing wrong with it. However, I have to make a criticism. I always used to buy my coffee from them both online and in store, but they have recently raised prices by, in some cases, over 33% from one day to the next. Their website has changed layout/design again and again and it is still super annoying to use. Last but not least, their new bags are just not as nice as their old design. I buy my coffee elsewhere now..

I have eaten wiener schnitzel twice at "Hanen" the first time, superbly good, the second time inedible, chewy and inedible d. 18-12-25 Despite the good service, the food was a bit of a pain. And I am surprised to see other guests getting sauces on the side! Mine was slush in slush. Not recommended.

28/11/2025: A good Thursday evening. menu. "starburst". perfectly prepared. not dry, not overcooked, simple but good. consumed in cozy surroundings, mixed with good Danish bodega culture. In the literal sense of the word. a shooting star every visit. Regards. Max Seierø

07/11/2025: The food is not good enough. Christmas menu Not at all for the price. Good duck with bought red cabbage. Inedible rice salad, good salmon. Nothing that was really good.

16/08/2025: Atmosphere Indoor and outdoor seating. With heatlamps. Not very packed. Food Good and good prices. Different than what you get elsewhere. Where tasty and many options available. Appetizers good too. Service Friendly and attentive. Fast service.

15/11/2025: Maybe ok for locals who like that type of thing but I really did not enjoy it. Wine selection zero, pretty much one of each colour. Plus you have to wait 15 mins in a queue for the toilet!!

09/11/2025: This is a great restaurant with good beer. During the summer months it is perfect to sit down on the excellent outdoor seating and enjoy one of the house's excellent beers. The selection of draft beers is varied and good. On a hot summer day an Erdinger Weißbier is just perfect. Sørens is definitely worth a stop on your trip to Copenhagen.

24/07/2025: I got the green juice (don’t remember the name) — It was fresh and tasty!! The service is beyond amazing!! The payment system was down and the owner (I presume) helped us out with some cash.

20/12/2025: Really bad experience. Had to wait 45 min to get our table, several items from the menu were sold out and service generally did not live up to expectations. Maison seems outdated, needs an update!

18/10/2025: The food is insanely delicious! You must try the anchovy toast, the perfect steak, and the scallion salad. The service is supremely professional...the prices are fair for the quality of the dishes. Anyone coming to Copenhagen cannot miss it.

31/12/2025: Everything is top quality, everything from the food to the service. If there is a mistake, it is promptly corrected without complaint or mistrust. Have been coming here for over 15 years and can highly recommend the restaurant for both take away, delivery and eating in the restaurant.

21/12/2025: Went there again for my favorit drink, Aka Haru, and something light to go with it. Had some Kinoko Korokke (mushrooms in mashed potatoes) and Bimi Tempura (battered depfried Broccoli), and it was all delicious, as always! --- I went there for lunch with my wife on a Sunday, and it was as good as expected, ie. very good! We hadn't booked, but they had reasonable tables available, and the service was very helpful. We had a Mixed Emotions with addition of a set of Wagyu nigiri. I got a glass of white wine and my wife selected a cup of macha. The Wagyu nigiri was well made, with a crispy top that was new to me, but an interesting touch. The rest of the menu was well made with fresh ingredients, but I was intrigued by the Kani Cream Korokke, which was very creamy and very tasty! I will definitely go there again, to explore more of their menu. Went by them today, 2.March 2025, to taste their Special Cocktail, Aka Haru (Japanese for Red Spring), which I had seen advertised and includes using Macallan 12 year whisky. I can definitely recommend it! It has a beautiful balance of fresh and sweet, with the whisky giving it a slight edge. I could savour it and enjoyed it together with some selected snacks, as it is difficult to not try something from their menu. I chose Bimi Tempura and Ramu Niku, and it was delicious!

20/12/2025: Great experience! I had a delicious chicken burger that was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The dip was lightly spicy and complemented the burger really well without overpowering it. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, a very satisfying meal — I would definitely come back and can highly recommend Görkem Efendi.
