05/05/2026: Great little hotel. In the center of the city so a lot of attractions are walking distance. The view from the rooftop bar was lovely. The breakfast was a bit lackluster but definitely not unpleasant.

26/06/2026: We went to a ton of cocktail bars in Copenhagen and this was one of our favorites. The cocktails were great and the employees were very fun and friendly.

12/06/2026: Lovely italian-american diner! The baked pasta with vodka sauce was fantastic, I will definitely come back again.

27/10/2025: We had a great dinner at this restaurant, with generous portions and unlimited rice if needed. The naan is very good. The mango lassi is delicious, always appreciated to counteract the spicy side of the dishes. Top-notch and fast service, very friendly waitress.

15/06/2026: Ready for lunch while biking around North Zealand, we asked a local gentleman for a reco. Happily, he sent us here. There’s outdoor seating but we opted for indoors, which meant a charming spot under the eaves of an A-frame building with a tall window overlooking the harbor. Our foursome’s choices were salad with hot smoked salmon, fish cakes and trio of herring in different sauces. Terrific!

31/05/2026: Fantastic place and cozy Sten and Dorthe run this place by the harbor in Gilleleje. There is good energy and attention to detail and good taste in everything they do. And they make damn good coffee 😋👏🏻👌

11/04/2026: Very nice cafe. Children's menu with burger, Gustav Burger and shooting stars. Food arrived quickly.

16/11/2025: Ordered the “Smack Down burger” menu with cheesy chips for 125 kr. Taste: The fries were well seasoned, crispy and soft and covered in some good cheese. The chili mayonnaise was homemade and well made. The steak was medium rare, very well seasoned and had a super grilled taste. The quality of the steak was absurdly good for the price; fresh, juicy and smoky in taste. You won't find a better steak for that price. The bun and the other items in the burger were fairly standard. Satiety: You'll be full👍🏼 The price: The price is good for what you get! Atmosphere: Standard (quiet). Service: Nice guy. The overall experience is 5/5 stars.

22/06/2026: One really nice and welcoming employee behind the counter and one angry and grumpy employee behind the sandwich bar. We asked if we could get 2 sandwiches from their menu and one of them asked the other nicely if "it was possible" .. but we then got the answer from the angry one "no, you can choose from the ones on display" (in a non-transparent brown bag so you couldn't see them or the quality) with only 3 varieties to choose from out of the 6 varieties that they otherwise offered on the menu .. the prices were also far too expensive for the quality of the sandwiches .. last time we buy anything from them.

28/12/2025: My son (14), husband, and daughter (1.5 years old) ate here a few months ago, and the food was absolutely amazing. I’ve been craving it ever since! The portions were very generous, and the jerk chicken was incredibly moist and full of flavor. I’m from Jamaica, and I fully approve of this restaurant’s twist on jerk chicken! On top of the great food, I truly appreciated the owner’s warmth. She took the time to make sure our little Kira was comfortable and well looked after, which meant a lot to us. We did realize a bit too late that the restaurant isn’t particularly toddler-friendly. However, our daughter was on her best behavior that day, and the owner was so kind and accommodating, making sure Kira was comfortable throughout our visit. I will definitely be visiting again the next time my husband and I are out for a date night. All the best, Kimberly

21/12/2025: For a homesick island gal like myself, visiting the Caribbean Housewife was like stepping into a little pocket of home in the middle of a foreign land. From the moment we entered, Jamain made us feel warm & welcome, and the food blew us away with the flavour I'd been missing since leaving home. Jamain was polite, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the various dishes and drinks we indulged in. It also felt great to converse with someone with a similar background - almost like talking to a longtime friend. This is a hidden gem in CPH, and one that you shouldn't miss out on if you have the chance!

16/10/2025: Gaia team takes cocktail making to the new experimentation levels. All cocktails tend to have a presentation twist - either they arrive in a glass pipe or in a collectible race car model (!) or are presented out of a chinese noodle box - you'll have the wow and aha! moment. And of course, it all tastes great. You have a lot of options for cocktails in the city, but Gaia might just be the most creative spot. Definite recommendation.

21/10/2025: We were there during dining week in week 42. The food was so delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and the waiters are sweet and welcoming. Especially their ravioli with mushrooms was so delicious, but everything was really delicious. Worth a visit!

16/06/2026: I dunno what the reviews about great helpful staff are all about, maybe they were all off tonight. Got the tall barman who is apparently totally devastated to be working behind a bar. There’s no mistaking this guys attitude for deadpan humour, he’s straight up unpleasant. Put a huge downer on a nice night, like this is not a cheap place. This guy was acting like we had him making up 10 espresso martinis when in reality it was a cocktail from a tap. Look for the guy with the big face and the manbun, if he’s in maybe just leave it.
