12/10/2025: The espresso and Americano were delicious. However, many of the coffees on the menu weren't available, and the waiter didn't say anything when they were served, telling me to take my own. That was annoying, but for the price of coffee in Copenhagen, it's a great coffee.

15/03/2026: A time capsule in the Copenhagen area/Amager. A unique brown tavern experience, free jargon, good and cozy atmosphere, feels welcome. And the price is screwed to the bottom. A place where all ages can meet + they hold good social events.

11/10/2025: I had a very unpleasant personal experience at Restaurant Pirlo. I was there for dinner the other night and accidentally left my AirPods behind (I could see their location on my phone). The next day, I went back and asked the kitchen staff if they could help me look for them. They let me search, but I couldn’t find them anywhere. After I asked several times, they finally called the manager, who told me that no AirPods had been found the previous night. The location kept pointing to the bar area, so I asked the staff to help me check there. They refused and just said they’d contact me if they found them - even though I was literally showing them the live location. Then one of the chefs, Alex (I found his name on Instagram), came up to me aggressively. He stood very close, started swearing at me, and told me to leave. When I didn’t react immediately, he shoved me. I left the restaurant, and they shut the doors and windows, ignoring me completely when I knocked. Honestly, I don’t even know how to describe this situation. As a woman, I felt assaulted and deeply threatened, alone in a room with two men, being disrespected and pushed. And this wasn’t on the street, it was in a restaurant where I had simply come to retrieve my property. I even have proof that my AirPods are there. I’ve filed a police report and am following all the necessary steps, though it’s a slow and frustrating process, as we all know how little attention such cases often get. I don’t think anyone is perfect, I know people go through difficult things in life. But as a restaurant representative, basic human respect should still apply. As for the food it was nothing special. Not good, not bad. During dinner, the waiter made my friend feel uncomfortable when she asked about the wine - he corrected her (incorrectly), then later apologized when he realized his mistake. They also overcharged us on the bill, adding three glasses of wine instead of two, so double-check your bills there.

16/07/2026: Very cozy courtyard, incredibly friendly staff, super delicious and creative food and absolutely ok prices. All other restaurants had closed the kitchen at 8:40 but at Olivia they welcomed us with open arms. This is definitely the best restaurant in the village!

11/06/2026: In Hornbæk, there are either “cheap” places with fish and chips that are completely ok, or average restaurants “price wise” that can’t cook at all, but charge crazy prices, and are completely tasteless. Or there is Oliva which is a bit more expensive but the “most economical” place in the village. By Swedish standards “normal” prices 😅 Fantastic! A truly genuine atmosphere where the owner couple works in the kitchen and the service and really takes care of you, the glasses never seem to run out and really, really good food! Worth a trip just for the visit, especially when they have a special evening, like when we visited, (seafood evening)

08/06/2026: My husband and I stopped by this restaurant yesterday while we were out for a walk. We initially planned to just grab a cocktail, but we ended up ordering some food and snacks as well. The burger was fairly average, but the fries, chicken tenders, and dips were all very good and enjoyable. What really stood out to us, however, was the service. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for her name, but our server, who I believe was Asian, had a beautiful smile and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. As someone who also works as a server, I know how much effort goes into creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere for guests. Her kindness, positive attitude, and attentive service made our visit much more enjoyable. Thank you for the great hospitality,we will definitely remember the experience.

04/06/2026: We had the absolute best cake ever. The vanilla cheesecake, raspberry cheesecake, and carrot cake were all outstanding. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the café itself is beautiful. Even the restrooms were spotless. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: A fascinating building with interesting and unique activities! The “skiing” is horrible. It’s like skiing on the worst icy snow imaginable. Despite that we had a good time for its novelty. Might be a fun activity for those desperate for some “skiing”. Similarly the cafe at the top could be a nice spot to sit with views of the city, but the views are the wrong way (towards the airport) and the vibes aren’t great. The climbing wall looks quite fun but the hurdles you need to jump through in order to climb there make it much less appealing. Many people were running up and down the hill while I was there. It looks like a fantastic place to do that.

04/09/2025: We hosted an event at the CopenHill Rooftop Cafe in July 2025, and had a FANTASTIC experience! Julie was super responsive to our questions and needs and an amazing coordinator the day of the event. We were planning the event from another country, and she and the rest of the events team (shout out to Alexander!) helped us remotely for months in advance of the event. Julie had an answer for every question and always came up with great ideas and potential solutions for issues that came up the day of the event. Not only did she start setting up and preparing well in advance of the event, but she lead the whole team (catering, bar staff), resulting in a seamless event. We received SO many compliments on the venue, the food, and the overall vibe. We wholeheartedly recommend the Rooftop Cafe as a venue space and Julie as an event coordinator!

04/06/2026: I ordered a cake man for pickup the next day (which was a public holiday). About 1 hour before pickup I called to ask if it could be frozen, as something had come up so the birthday was postponed until the following week. I got a response, but 15 minutes later I was called by the clerk, as she had spoken to the baker and they didn't think I should have a cake man that was fresh, so they wanted to bake a new one for the following week. So I didn't have to pick up or pay for the cake man they had already baked. That can only be called great service. The cake man I got was absolutely perfect

19/10/2025: During our week-long stay on Bornholm, we visited this place twice! I'm so grateful for the team's commitment to sustainable cocoa processing and their fight against child labor. The chocolate is truly delicious and high-quality; you can't buy anything like it in the supermarket. The café, with its delicious cakes, is also a lovely place to linger. 26/09/2025: The best dark chocolate I have ever eaten. I also love the concept of fair living conditions/payment to the cocoa farmers. I have also bought many bottles of rare wine from Crete, which I am looking forward to tasting. You cannot buy them anywhere else in Denmark. A lovely surprise in addition to the chocolate experience.

12/04/2026: Super delicious food. 👌 I often buy from there and they never fail. Crispy vegetables and a good curry sauce that is a little fatty in it. 🤩 The curry sauce can be a little strong for people who are not used to eating chili. 🌶️
