11/10/2025: Café Victor is an icon of Copenhagen — a long-standing staple for a spring or summer lunch or dinner on the terrace. It does a remarkably good job of capturing a Parisian-style luxury bistro atmosphere, with a lively yet elegant energy that makes it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The setting is pleasant, though a bit dated in some areas and in need of a refresh. The terrace could benefit from more heating on cooler days, though the provided blankets and heaters are a nice touch. Tablecloths would also help elevate the presentation and ambiance. The food is generally very good — simple, fresh, and tasty. The bread could definitely be fresher, but overall dishes are well prepared, and desserts are especially enjoyable. The mains are about average compared to Parisian bistros, but slightly above average for Copenhagen. Staff are polite and generally responsive, though sometimes a bit distracted and dressed in a style that feels slightly old-fashioned. Still, they maintain a friendly, professional (if sometimes overly informal) attitude. The bathrooms could be cleaner and more modern, and the interior décor would benefit from some updating, but the overall charm remains undeniable. Located in one of the most luxurious parts of Copenhagen, just behind the d’Angleterre, Café Victor remains a personal favorite — reliable, lively, and enjoyable year after year. I’ve been coming here for many years and even went twice on my last trip — it’s my go-to spot in Copenhagen when I want a classic, comfortable dining experience.

29/07/2026: Fabulous history setting and ambiance - the food is ok not fabulous and the service needs help but a lovely place to enjoy the history of Elstrom sailing

17/07/2026: Lovely place, with friendly and competent service by young people. Felt welcome from minute 1. The food was really good and even though it was busy due to a large tent that was supposed to have a lot of sandwiches we got everything quickly and tasty.

03/09/2026: Stopped for a quick coffee after seeing this was recommended on Chrome. Nice coffee, friendly service, prompt and tasted a cookie too which was delicious. Sadly I forgot to take a photo!!

13/08/2026: The food was okay, but nothing special. However, it was very loud and unpleasant due to several other guests. The tables were too close together, making a quiet and pleasant dining experience impossible. We definitely won't be back.

29/07/2026: During our stay in Copenhagen, we chose to dine at Aamanns 1921, and the experience fully met our expectations. We had a family lunch, choosing to share several dishes to fully savor the restaurant's offerings: refined, authentic cuisine made with top-quality ingredients. Each course was meticulously prepared, with balanced and never boring flavors. Special thanks also go to the Italian waiter who looked after us during lunch: professional, knowledgeable, and always attentive, he immediately made us feel at ease, contributing to an even more enjoyable experience. An elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, impeccable service, and top-notch cuisine. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to discover one of its most refined expressions of Danish gastronomy.

25/07/2026: Finding a menu to accomodated my gluten & dairy intolerance has been challenging during our lovely stay in beautiful Copenhagen... until today! Our pokè bowls & smoothies were delicious & huge! The staff even boxed up what I couldn't eat & it became my dinner 😋 We also purchased some raw slice treats for later. What a wonderful find. I wish we had 42Raw in my city in Australia! Thank you for a delicious lunch on our last day.

07/09/2025: A fascinating building with interesting and unique activities! The “skiing” is horrible. It’s like skiing on the worst icy snow imaginable. Despite that we had a good time for its novelty. Might be a fun activity for those desperate for some “skiing”. Similarly the cafe at the top could be a nice spot to sit with views of the city, but the views are the wrong way (towards the airport) and the vibes aren’t great. The climbing wall looks quite fun but the hurdles you need to jump through in order to climb there make it much less appealing. Many people were running up and down the hill while I was there. It looks like a fantastic place to do that.

04/09/2025: We hosted an event at the CopenHill Rooftop Cafe in July 2025, and had a FANTASTIC experience! Julie was super responsive to our questions and needs and an amazing coordinator the day of the event. We were planning the event from another country, and she and the rest of the events team (shout out to Alexander!) helped us remotely for months in advance of the event. Julie had an answer for every question and always came up with great ideas and potential solutions for issues that came up the day of the event. Not only did she start setting up and preparing well in advance of the event, but she lead the whole team (catering, bar staff), resulting in a seamless event. We received SO many compliments on the venue, the food, and the overall vibe. We wholeheartedly recommend the Rooftop Cafe as a venue space and Julie as an event coordinator!

19/07/2026: Decent Italian food. Pizza very good, Canneloni - steer clear, must have been heated in the microwave, carbonara also good, almost a bit too salty bacon. Delicious bread. Nice Italian atmosphere.

15/06/2026: Stopped by on a bike packing trip. The owners and staff were super cool and told us about their journeys to our respective countries. The cakes were out of this world delicious, and refills on coffee was an added bonus. Lots of locals having their tea time here and we felt super welcomed by the people there. Definitely a place to come back to if I’m in the area.
