06/09/2026: The location is really good, and it's hard to put a finger on the place. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was a big disappointment. It was some of the worst sushi I've ever had. The quality was far from what I expected, and the service was very poor. The two people who came in with the food seemed really young - I almost got the impression that they had come to help. There was generally very little professionalism about the service. Overall, it was one of my worst sushi experiences ever. In fact, it was the first time I've ever felt bad about eating sushi. I really hope it was just a bad day for the restaurant, but my experience was so bad that I unfortunately won't be returning.

01/09/2026: We walked in a few weeks ago and felt instantly at home. The coffee was excellent, but the pie was pure heaven and gone before we could even talk about it.

15/06/2026: Stopped by on a bike packing trip. The owners and staff were super cool and told us about their journeys to our respective countries. The cakes were out of this world delicious, and refills on coffee was an added bonus. Lots of locals having their tea time here and we felt super welcomed by the people there. Definitely a place to come back to if I’m in the area.

08/08/2026: Very nice place! Good wines & very tasty snacks. The sardines are awesome! Quiet & peaceful place for some relaxation from the city noise.

20/10/2026: Had the smoked salmon smørrebrød which was as tasty as it was beautiful. Do keep in mind that while sitting outside is delightful, the wind may want to steal your garlic sprouts. It was kinda chilly but a jacket and the provided blankets did the trick. Had the rødgrød med fløde for dessert paired with aquavit. Recommend just pouring the cream on top and taking single bites of cream and berries, to fully experience how the tartness of the fruit complements the fat in the cream; I wouldn't mix it all prior. Service was outstanding. There are no restrooms available to the public so plan accordingly.

18/10/2026: When it’s cold outside, this café is the perfect place to warm up with a delicious cup of tea. The atmosphere is cozy, and the tea is lovely. But most importantly, make sure Oscar ❤️🩷is there! He’s a wonderful waiter who makes the whole experience even better. Great service and a warm welcome every time!❤️‍🔥😘

12/10/2026: Cannot recommend, especially if you have dietary restrictions or specific food safety requirements. As I am pregnant, I explicitly requested a well-done steak, in line with the recommendations of the health authorities. Despite repeating this several times, I was served a medium-cooked steak with red juices coming out. I had already taken a bite, trusting that my request had been respected. While the staff corrected the mistake fairly quickly, this raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s reliability, particularly for guests with allergies, dietary restrictions, or health-related food requirements. What made matters worse was my subsequent correspondence with the owner, whose response was shockingly dismissive and distressing. The fact that this is one of the few places in the area where you can walk in without a reservation says a lot about its quality and popularity. If you have dietary restrictions or need the kitchen to take specific food requirements seriously, I would strongly advise choosing somewhere else.

20/10/2026: The smoky sauce served with the oysters was very good. The four-course menu was generally okay. I wasn't particularly impressed; it was good, but nothing special. The welcome and service were warm.

12/10/2026: This restaurant offers fish dishes that even Japanese people, who are accustomed to fish cuisine, should definitely try. It was delicious! The Hokkaido pumpkin, served with a foamy ponzu sauce, was also impressive (apparently, pumpkins similar to Japanese ones are called Hokkaido). The flavors shifted from sourness to sweetness, and then to the savory aroma of rice crunch. The wine we ordered by the bottle was also delicious, with a soft fruitiness that lingered gently. The service was efficient yet attentive, and everyone else there seemed to be a foodie. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed, not too quiet.
