18/09/2025: Crazy nice experience! Celebrated 5 year anniversary with the fiancée and what an experience! Amazingly decorated and well tasting food, paired with quality-tasting beverages. 90's and early 2000's music gave a very fitting ambience, and the waiters and chefs were very energetic and friendly. A recommendable visit

16/11/2025: We visited Reffen after having lunch at Øens Have and it ended up being such a fun afternoon. Reffen is set right on the waterfront in Refshaleøen and has such a great energy; live music playing, food stalls everywhere and people sitting in deck chairs facing the sun with a wine or beer in hand. The whole place has that relaxed Copenhagen vibe where people just enjoy the moment and take their time. Getting there was easy and part of the experience; we took the ferry to Refshaleøen and from the second we stepped off the boat you could hear music and see the colourful food containers ahead of us. It almost feels like a little creative village made of repurposed shipping containers, art and food. Reffen is open seasonally, mainly from spring to autumn; during summer it opens around late morning and stays open into the evening which is perfect because the atmosphere really comes alive when the sun is out. In the cooler months the hours are limited or closed altogether, so it’s definitely more of a warm-weather experience. There are so many food vendors to choose from and the variety is huge; everything from dumplings, burgers and Mexican food to smoked fish, noodles, desserts and plant-based options. It’s the kind of place where you just wander around, see what catches your eye and go with whatever smells amazing. We loved grabbing something small from one stall, then something else from another and sharing everything. It’s also such a beautiful place to sit by the water and just take it all in. Watching locals and tourists relaxing together with music playing and the harbour right in front of you makes it feel extra special. If you love street food, a fun atmosphere and places that feel a bit more local and laid back, I highly recommend visiting Reffen. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Copenhagen.

12/11/2025: For me, Reffen is the best street food market I've ever visited anywhere in the world. I've been twice: in April 2024 and again in November 2025. The first time, with the nice weather, there were many more stalls open; this time there were fewer, but fortunately the ones I was most interested in were open. My favorites remain Fuego and Nordic Hot Dog.

28/07/2025: After a long drive from Hamburg and the panicked search for a parking space, probably typical of German tourists, we were able to enjoy an excellent meal for a modest price at this small but fine restaurant. We can highly recommend this place to all lovers of spicy food.

04/11/2025: Had a mixed menu. Really nice dishes. The service was a bit uneven though, with water delivered halfway through the menu and sticks served when we were convinced they had been forgotten and we asked for the bill

09/09/2025: This is my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Samuel, Jimmy, and the entire team were excellent. They’re really friendly and lovely to talk to, and most importantly they make delicious food! I had the 7 course tasting experience and it was amazing! i can’t recommend it enough. Great ambience too, i love the open kitchen. I’ll be back for sure.

06/09/2025: It was first time for me and my friend went to Copenhagen. I got recommendation to try this Indonesian restaurant. Food was amazing and authentic. We ordered grill fish absolutely tasty!! And also fried duck with green chili and Tofu Gejrot typical street food. Restaurant was looking nice and staffs were super friendly. Shout to Fadil and Samuel, they were giving 5 stars services. I would recommended Saji Restaurant for people want to try Indonesian food. Definitely will come here if I visit Copenhagen again :) try to book in advance ;)

22/10/2025: Was looking for good smorrebrod, and this google search didn't disappoint. Had their smorrebrod with pork and red cabbages, beer and also tried their Itish Coffee. Both smorrebrod and irish coffee were awesome.
