10/07/2025: Super cozy! Good food in a lovely environment. Nice staff who were knowledgeable and waited for the dishes to be served with perfect timing. Quite expensive compared to other restaurants in Helsingør but you also pay to sit in that environment.

19/06/2025: The old house with a cozy courtyard is the perfect, and beautiful setting for the traditional danish food served here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food amazing!

09/06/2025: A lovely little cafe with one big drawback- they don’t have a card payment option. Only cash or an app which you can only use if you have a Danish phone number AND Danish bank account. So pretty impossible for tourists or ex pats. There is no notice of this on their website or online anywhere. They kindly gave me my drink on the house, which felt very uncomfortable as I wanted to pay!

29/05/2025: The rhubarb juice tastes good, but expensive. A bit sour and lack of service from the staff who served us, strange.

01/03/2025: Writing from the point of a lone asian traveller. Friendly service, in particular by an initial welcoming male server who went out of the way to make a vermouth spritz (probably an odd request here) and a female server who knew her classic cocktails incredibly well. Plates were amazing; try the morel mushroom and the fried chicken & waffles (yes I know but please do). Would've loved more interaction and effort in explanation of the food but otherwise a great experience!

15/02/2025: Delightful and bright place with tapas a la Copenhagen style featuring cod-stuffed Morel, a “hot dog” which was actually foie gras, anchovy and a shredded salad topping and an Iberian ham croque monsieur topped with caviar. Needless to say to say, a wide range of innovative flavors and many many wines by the glass to choose from. Do not miss this place for an informal and memorable culinary yum fest.

18/03/2025: Minibaren is a cozy and delicious lunch/coffee/beer café in the heart of old Sydhavn. We visited Minibaren on a sunny day, where we had their gourmet sandwich and kombucha. There were different delicious and exciting varieties to choose from. We sat and enjoyed our sandwich out on the sidewalk and it was simply so cozy. The staff is really friendly and Minibaren generally has a really cozy atmosphere. Nice to have good and relaxed initiatives/cafes in Sydhavn, which is so needed. We give Minibaren 5 stars and we will definitely come back!

28/05/2025: Very delicious food and drinks—I had two focaccia with pesto and tomato mozzarella, a matcha latte, and a chai latte! I think the price-performance ratio is really reasonable for the quality! I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Scandinavia 🌞👍

29/06/2025: Excellent food, service and dining atmosphere. The food presentation was beautiful. You definitely need reservations; it is a small restaurant.

28/06/2025: We went to selma for our wedding lunch. We love smorebrod so we thought it would be a perfect place. When we entered we were taken downstairs and seated by a table away from the window. When we asked if we could change to a little more luminous table we were refused, in not the nicest manner by a lady attending there. It would be an easy change though, and it was a special occasion afterall. We then went to order 2 cheese platters, which were really expensive but excellent, and 2 open sandwiches per person. The dense rye bread they used was fantastic, but the sandwiches werent the best Ive had. For example the one with fried fish was accompanied by a lot, i mean a lot of shrimp sauce, which made the two tastes completely lose themselves. They looked nice but taste wasnt there. We also asked for wine recommendation, but were informed by the waiter that “he doesnt know anything about wines”. The wines on their menu are in 100 EUR range. We eneded up choosing one ourselves but the fact that people working there have no idea or cannot recommend a wine from their menu is ridiculous. Overall, wouldn’t come back for the experience not for the food. Expected more from a Michelin star recommended place

08/07/2025: If you are going to use the name of the greatest steak and BBQ state in the world then you had better make sure your food is up to the same standards, well let me tell you Texas in Bornholm did not disappoint, I had the cheese and bacon burger with chips and it was absolutely perfect, service was quick and very friendly and for a small island that is pretty expensive the food was at a reasonable price.
