11/10/2025: The food didn't meet expectations for a restaurant supposedly in this league

19/09/2025: Had a mixed experience here at TRIO. The location is excellent with a full view out over the central Copenhagen facing west so make sure to book table and watch the sun set. The dinner was ok, but there were some minor flaws. Like we had to ask the waiters to slow down the serving at one point. Some dishes was truly excellent but some were a bit below expectations compared to what we eventually paid. Not a cheap dinner. But worth a visit. And you can visit the bar without a dinner and still enjoy the vie from then 9th flor.

25/11/2025: Disappointing experience tonight 😟 Of course the lobster bisque should be "burned off", but it doesn't taste burnt. Steak very small and should have been a lot more than medium. Slightly tender leaves with oil/vinegar. Flat profiterole with melted ice cream. For 525,- it's disappointing. Wine ok

17/01/2026: Delicious rich bagel, smiling service and good conversation. He doesn't skimp on the filling and it was fresh and delicious 🩷 I loved the chili dressing he has 🌶🔥 My boyfriend and I will definitely come back here 😁 It was also the first place I've seen that sold Harboe Cola, and in these times it's nice to see people going against the US and not buying Coca Cola. 💪🇩🇰

09/01/2026: Super good service! Bought 2 salads and got a discount because they weren't completely full. He was honest, accommodating and also had a sense of humor, even though I was a bit difficult 😄 It just makes for an extra good experience.

14/12/2025: Very delicious lion food. Fast service. Lovely room that has improved acoustics with acoustic panels. The view doesn't get any better.

07/12/2025: Delicious Christmas food, with a lot of Christmas classics with some new twists. The rye bread was super good, and especially the medisterpösl with kale was of high quality. However, the dishes lacked a bit of acidity and especially the duck would have been better with some sour side dishes. The staff were sweet and personal, and very skilled at helping with any special food needs. All in all, a good Christmas dinner🤶🧑‍🎄

20/10/2025: Authentic Asian restaurant, with really nice waiters. We especially loved their tender chicken! Yum

20/10/2025: The soups were unfortunately some of the worst I've ever had - the kimchi jjigae was watery and flavourless, and the beef soup was so oily from the spice that I felt nauseous. However the chicken wings were great and the staff were all very friendly.

02/10/2025: My Menu ① Pluma Rossini Tapas — 130 DKK / Each This dish was truly captivating! It uses the Pluma cut of Iberico pork (the most tender and dreamy cut, known as the "Wagyu of pork"), cooked about 6-7 minutes rare, paired with foie gras. The Iberico pork is incredibly tender and fatty, yet perfectly blends with the foie gras, making it feel surprisingly non-greasy. The foie gras has no fishy smell at all, and the interplay of fats and fats is surprisingly balanced, leaving it completely unappetizing. It's truly heavenly! It's a shame the price is a bit high at 130 DKK per tapa. With a little more budget, you could easily order a main course at a regular restaurant 🥲 But it definitely felt like the money was well spent 🥰🥰 ⸻ ② Duck Confit Sandwich — 89 DKK This is one of their signature dishes. The portion is generous and the price is reasonable. The bread is perfectly chewy, and the duck meat is very filling. It's also highly praised by locals. However, I found the meat a bit dry and not as juicy as I'd imagined. Maybe it's because Danes tend to prefer a dry texture? (The duck confit I had at Bloom Vesterbro was similarly dry.) It's not my cup of tea, but still worth a try. ⸻ Summary If you're visiting Copenhagen, Ma Poule is a must-try! The Pluma Rossini tapas, in particular, are truly unforgettable. A small reminder: avoid the lunch crowd and go around 2 p.m. for a safer experience. Sometimes they sell out, requiring a 30-40 minute wait. The location is easy to find, a 2-3 minute walk from Norreport metro station, in the Torvehallerne KBH food court. It's not a formal restaurant.

15/09/2025: It was definitely worth coming. The duck sandwich was delicious with the sauce. The place is also very cute.

27/09/2025: Our waiter was clearly paid on a per-glass basis for the dishwasher, as he repeatedly grabbed our half-empty wine glasses, albeit in a sweet and smiling manner. If it weren't for the terrible acoustics, we would also have been able to hear what we were being scolded for by the champagne lady (you know who you are). good tiramisu. Can recommend investing in some acoustic panels 🫶

16/09/2025: Can be a bit quiet midweek, but the food and exceptional service more than compensate for this!

19/12/2025: Amazing place. One of the most recommended places in Copenhagen, amazing sourdough bread; amazing service! There is a waitress/manager named Carolina with curly hair, charming and very professional. We had a blast!

08/12/2025: 2 people, we chose the menu. A number of sharing dishes, excellent without being amazing. We should have read the menu better because we were surprised that the main course was a lumpy pommes Anna and cabbage. It tasted fine but to serve it as a main course...... 🤔. Nice service, cozy place. Ok experience but it won't be a return visit.

28/08/2025: Great little bar, such a nice vibe and really friendly staff.

08/08/2025: Authentic little pub with locals where smoking is allowed. It's like enetring the time capsule. There was also some pretty cool live music.

28/10/2025: It's a wine bar, so the theme is wine, but they have a 6-course Italian menu for 275 kr. per person, and bread costs 30 kr. (and their bread was so delicious, and something you needed for the dishes) we bought 2 glasses of wine each for 105 kr. per glass - all this to say; it ended up being a lot more expensive than we expected, but it was so delicious and a good vibe in the place with good music and very engaged waiters. So highly recommended as a light dinner that can last a long time and include a lot of wine.

01/11/2025: Ordered three dishes, all generous portions and so flavorful. Had waterfall beef and all the flavors are there. Absolutely delicious! My only feedback to the chef would be to cut the meat even thinner for this dish. Then the meat really can soak up the sauce. Thanks guys, definitely will come by again! 🤜🤛

15/12/2025: Simply amazing pasta and pizza but no talent for steak. With a healthy appetite my brother and I both ordered the Pasta al Ragù as primi. I was then tempted to diverge from earlier visits and try the most expensive item on the menu: Bistecca ai ferri, and with it some Patate al forno. I also found a red wine to pair it with. For dessert we finished off with Gelato alla vaniglia. The Pasta was great, a good sized dish, the just right temperature for the parmigiano to have maximum effect together with the ragout. The diced potatoes fried in rosemary and garlic oil were excellent as well and set up the pitfalls that was the main course. The grilled robeye was ordered medium rare and both looked and smelled delicious, to my supreme disappointment however it was simply tasteless in the most literal use of the word. It was boring and instantly overpowered by both wine and potato meant to compliment its flavour. Still hungry I made my disappointment clear to the waiter and made an unfortunate mistake as due to the time it took to get a waiter I did not ask for the menu, I simply ordered a pizza that I remembered: The Diavola. This truly wonderful pizza did of course completely clash with the red wine and as such further impacted the experience. It did however arrive swiftly which I commend them for. Lastly the ice cream a perfectly sweet solace from the slightly soured experience. It should be noted that we still paid full price for the ribeye. Despite this I would gladly dine here again, as I have before, the atmosphere is delightful and the other dishes are truly masterfully made, which is why the quality of steak was such a shock to me.
