13/03/2025: Ended up doing shots here with some young regulars. That was unexpected and more fun than one might expect from shooting straight ginger goodness. The smoothie i had afterwards was off the charts. I wish I knew what was in it; (I asked for a surprise). Suresh, the owner is salt of the earth. LOVE THIS PLACE

21/08/2024: Love this place so much is the best staying experience ever, is like a fairytale theme house, the food is excellent. The rooms are unique and clean, each room have their own theme, love the beach nearby. This location will be always on my buckle list when I travel to Copenhagen😍

I den gamle gårds fantastiske interiør bliver man mødt af en hjertevarm og glad vært, Lotte, der går op i at servere gode råvarer med velsmag fra lokale leverandører. Stedet emmer af entusiasme og varme. Man bliver både mæt og i godt humør af et besøg på stedet 🫶🏻❤️

02/10/2024: Kager langt ud over det sædvanlige med masser af mousse. Betjeningen er super med masser af humør og viden om kagerne. Det har min klare anbefaling.

31/03/2025: Åben has understood Kødbyen and perhaps a notch further than its neighbor Warpigs. I've lost count of the number of craft beer joints that serve burgers with varying results, and Åben probably had that too. The first visit that included food was a week or so after the premiere, when an Italian restaurant hosted a guest appearance that was both competent and had potential. Åben has now come so far that they are investing in an ambitious kitchen and in my opinion, on my last visit, they have something going on. The place is fantastic after dark, big tanks and pipes don't bother you in the slightest. A large and completely open kitchen with a generous number of bar seats lifts the atmosphere even more. For starters, I had a crab salad that was both fresh and filling, lovely texture to the meat. Possibly a little too cold, some of the flavor was lost there. The main course with wonderfully hearty and well-seasoned dumplings in a lovely broth was top-notch. I realized afterwards that I would have rather drunk wine, which would have gone with a pretty small selection. But you go to Åben primarily for the beer, but now there are additional, very good, reasons.

31/03/2025: Great english-pub style of a waterhole in what use to be an old bookshop. Place is very small, crowded and filled great with people of all kinds. Many beers on tab, some speits and snacks.

29/03/2025: A true hidden gem! Their cardamom rolls can 100% easily compete with Juno, and I kind of selfishly hope that tourists don't get the hang of Galst, although I would understand if they did.

19/03/2025: The establishment left quite mixed impressions, on the one hand, not bad desserts and quite tasty coffee, on the other hand, quite mediocre service. Although there is quite a lot of space, there is a hall on the second floor, the space itself is organized quite strangely and not conveniently. AND THE MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY ARE INCONVENIENTLY SMALL CUISINES, which look more like a mockery

17/03/2025: Njammy and interesting selection of cheese cakes! Cosy setting with great seating at the first floor. The service could be a bit more attentive, but probably because of the end of the day?

07/04/2025: We had cured herring open sandwich and fried herring open sandwich. There were little bones in the fried herring. Other than that, the food was well prepared. The staff are very friendly. Thank you for your warm service.

29/03/2025: The most consistently impressive and delicious courses for the whole set menu. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend. Just be aware they don’t open until 5pm so don’t arrive early if you have a 5pm booking.

26/02/2025: I went out to eat with my family on the occasion of my mother's birthday. The food was super delicious and the service was outstanding. The place is arranged cosily so that you quickly lower your shoulders and feel comfortable. I got a delicious pescetar menu. I got good help for alcohol-free. So it was also very easy with my eating/drinking habits. Overall, a cozy place with soul that is great for both large and small events.
