02/06/2026: Everything here is perfect! Delicious food, friendly owners, and a pleasant atmosphere both inside and out. They also have live music on Sundays. It's also the only place we visited that served cider. The prices are fair.

14/04/2026: I had been recommended Maku by a good friend if I wanted a good steak. I asked if any of their meat came from pure grass-fed cattle, which the waiter didn't understand but simply said that the best ribeye was the American one(399;) and I then chose it and asked for rare/medium-rare. It was served Well done and it wasn't even the same quality as what I usually buy from the butcher in Føtex! Super disappointing and definitely not worth a visit again! The shrimp cocktail was filled with canned asparagus and tasted terrible. And serving popcorn instead of some delicious homemade bread is a big “no go” for me. Thanks for ruining my birthday!

10/04/2026: I have now been to MAKU +10 times, and I have not once experienced any food that is not made to perfection. The prices are reasonable, and you get a lot for your money. Always good customer service.

02/06/2026: Lovely latte and Cortado at this hidden cafe, with lovely outdoor seatings and indoor bar bench. Their sourdough bun was great, as well as their cardamom bun.

28/06/2026: I have been a regular customer of Sokkelund and have visited many times with my child. This is the first time I have ever been treated this way. During our brunch, my baby became upset and cried briefly. Before we even had a chance to comfort our child, a staff member came over and told us to take the baby outside and only return once the baby had calmed down. What made this experience unacceptable was the obvious double standard. Throughout our meal, several tables of adults were laughing and talking loudly, creating far more noise than my baby did during those few moments. Yet not a single staff member spoke to them. The only table approached was ours. I completely understand the need to maintain a pleasant dining environment. But if noise is the issue, the same standard should apply to everyone—not only to families with young children. Sokkelund presents itself as a high-end brasserie with exceptional hospitality. Unfortunately, the cold, dismissive way this situation was handled was completely inconsistent with that image. True hospitality is measured by how you treat guests in difficult moments, not only when everything is perfect. After supporting this restaurant regularly, we left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and unwelcome

14/06/2026: A cafe with a culinary ability like a good restaurant. We were there in the evening. Service was quite nice, but ... very busy, and yet not to be shaken. Since we are in our 50s, we allowed ourselves to compliment the young lady who ran the show. (We felt very mature ;-) ) I understand that there is often a queue outside Mad & Kaffe. Today as a young 60 year old, the experience was even better. That Risotto, ohh.

09/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, high-quality and well-prepared food. We were served quickly and the staff were very friendly. The price might be a little high, but it's not a problem to pay a bit more for a good, hearty meal! I recommend it.

06/07/2026: It was not a place for me to celebrate. Service really poor, asked about the possibility of getting both rice and bulgur and it was not an option. However, they could offer that I buy this as an extra. We wanted to share a grill mix for 2 people so we could taste a few different skewers. It was also not possible, it had to be for 3 people.

07/06/2026: Had my second visit here… the first time was a very positive experience, but the second time was a bit disappointing and that's why I'm landing in the middle with my stars. Overall, we've tried 4 drinks, all of which were good. Our second visit was marked by an insanely long wait. We had been told we'd have to wait 15-20 minutes. However, we didn't get our drinks until 30-40 minutes later. As an apology for the wait, we were given a taste of their own limoncello. That was fine, but the wait was surprising: there weren't many people and we had a hard time seeing what the delay was due to. Anyways: good drinks.

04/06/2026: My wife and I only went in to use the toilet 😬 but sat down and decided to have a drink at around 10pm last Friday nite. She decided to try a gin and I had a beer and they must put something in them coz next thing we knew we were getting kicked out at closing time 2am 🤣🤣. Thanks to the three young Danes at the next table for the great company and craic. David, Michael & Mes(apologies if I’ve spelt this wrong) shared their tips on gin and added to the two gents behind the bar talking my wife thru the menu it was a good night(big up to Scott from Australia who took it all in good humour). It’s not a cheap venue but we had a good nite. My head was the evidence as we staggered back to the hotel around 5am 🤪

17/04/2026: We loved this little restaurant in a boat on the canal. Staff very friendly, small selection of dinner dishes, but all done well. The steak and fries that I had were excellent.

15/07/2026: Copenhagen is spoiled in terms of awesome burger restaurants...and Dandelion is definitely in the top three. Awesome and fabulous, one of the best beefs I've tastes.

12/07/2026: There were service problems; the tables were dirty and weren't cleaned, the hamburger was terrible, I didn't like it at all, but the fries were amazing, very, very delicious.

01/07/2026: Worst Burger King in Denmark. Incredibly bad and lazy customer service. A bunch of young people who don't want to work there at all. It seems like they are all forced to work there

28/05/2026: I can honestly say this place makes the best burger in Copenhagen — and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had anywhere. The burger patty is the star here: fresh, real meat, perfectly cooked, no processed nonsense. Just pure flavour. The garnish and sauce are balanced perfectly, but that patty… wow. Absolutely incredible. Three months ago I randomly stopped here for a burger, and ever since then I’ve genuinely had cravings and dreams about it. I told myself that the next time I came back to Copenhagen, I HAD to find this place again. Today I did exactly that. I searched through six different pizzerias before finally finding them again. Completely worth it. On top of that, the staff are super friendly, speak excellent English, and the prices are honestly amazing for the quality you get. Proper value for money. I’ll keep coming back to Copenhagen just for these burgers.
